Everybody saying the smile of Erwin was creepy......but to me that showed how much Erwin appreciated Levi's skill.

The music that comes in when Erwin smiles gives me shivers. I keep watching this on repeat. Erwin was so enticed by Levi and his skills. And when he enters the fight, his swords clashing against Levi's dagger. Everything about it. Truly one of my favourite scenes in Attack on Titan OVAs, hell, in the entire franchise.

0:44 to 0:54 - I didn't understand why the Military Police suddenly lost control when Levi shifted his positioning when I first saw this scene, but now I know.
When an object is traveling at high speeds, it cuts through the air, reducing air resistance in the area behind them. The Military Police were traveling at high speeds with reduced air resistance because Team Levi was taking the brunt of the air resistance in front of them.
When Levi shifted his positioning at 0:44, he created turbulence and the sudden change in air current caused the Military Police to lose control. Because Levi suddenly stopped reducing air resistance for his pursuers by changing his positioning, his pursuers experienced what would feel like a sudden wall of air hitting them from nowhere because the air resistance in front of them suddenly increased while they were traveling at high speeds.
The attention to detail with the 3D Manuever Gear scene is spectacular.
Also it might be because Military police usually are bad with ODM gear and not as skilled or at least not practicing enough.

Akari Mike was faced with utterly overwhelming odds and still was a strong enough soldier to briefly regain his courage and yell at the beast titan while he was left in a completely hopeless situation, few could have mustered the courage to do that in his situation

WOW not a lot pf ppl notice this. If you've read the manga version of this, I'm sure you know that what we see here, is not their first meeting. During their very first meeting Levi pulls that move on one of the bandits while Erwin watched from the crowd (Miche was there as well). I always thought that Erwin did that move in particular just to show that the Scouts were different from the MPs which supposedly had the best soldiers of the 3 Military branches. A sort of way to unconsciously rattle Levi or get his attention.

I love the details with the difference on how the MP and Survey Corps use the ODM gear. MP constantly move up and down while on the cable while the Survey Corps move in linear, stable motion and efficiently which makes them move faster and agile while use less gas

does anyone remember after mikasa and levi saved eren from the femaly titan and they had stoped somewhere on the way back. someone was crying because they couldn't properly bury their friend. a little before, we see levi cutting off something from a body we couldnt see the face of. levi reveals it was the wings of freedom from a uniform and gives it to the mourning guy and tells him it belonged to his friend. later when titans run after them, levi turms around and sees petras body roll away and he looks so sad (for him anyways). i am 100% positive levi cut the wings of freedom off of petras uniform but gave it to the mourning guy. that is just one example of why i love levi so much.
because even through all his pain, he tries his best to make others feel better before even considering himself.
i know this has nothing to do with this but i just thought of it when levi stopped because his friends were caught.

af No. Isayama personally approves of changes and additions to the manga in the anime adaptations....things he felt cud av gone better. So everything in the anime contributes to the story and is cannon.
I understand that u don't like Levi, probably cus of the fandom, but I humbly ask that u look at him again and ignore the fandom. His character doesn't deserve to suffer frm the actions of a fandom he has no say in. I used to hate him too till I opened my eyes. He just grew on me and nw, I love him.

m j actually initially he was taking that badge thing for himself or her father. That guy cried after they had to ditch the bodies because he went back for his friend's body , bringing two titans hauling behind him. Instead of Levi keeping that badge he decided to give it to him and tell him it was Ivan's. It was a really sweet thing to do because he can relate to losing close friends and was compassionate with the guy instead of scolding him for causing a big problem

A Cat In a fucked up world like that, I'm sure there is plenty of people that have been trained their entire life to kill and fight. But levi excels everyone else and the writer doesn't exactly say how or why. So guessing by the fact that the world and most of the characters are very realistic, I'd say its something that runs in the family. Explains why mikasa is so good aswell.
