Hi Essa! Not to my knowledge can it be connected directly to your phone. I suppose if you were able to get an audio connector for your phone and run an audio app on there you could do it that way I'm sure. It would't be convenient but I'm sure it can be done!
Is the perform ve for the keyboard or for vocalists.... and the hard tune I’m looking for electric pitch a step higher like extreme autopitch. Been trying to be a pedal with a electric pitch. It glides up to the notes for expressive vocals.
Yes it does freeze, I just reset it and the freezing issue is random sometimes it comes on and other times it's fine. Might be worth contacting their support and a firmware update should fix that.
@@Brainfreeze128 that stinks. I was really liking the the compact size and mega loaded effects. Do you feel when it crashes it is pushing the limits of its functionality or it’s just random crashes. Not cool for live.
@@normageinc.1322 yup it’s random crashes. I didn’t return the product, I just don’t use it as much as the tc helicon critical mass. Less function but it doesn’t freeze at all. Hoping they will fix the freezing issue with an update
Run the USB MIDI to your computer than run a MIDI out cable from your audio interface to the Perform VE MIDI. Or if you don’t have that, get a Bluetooth MIDI transmitter and connect to the Peform VE.
Very nice! I got the feeling that the sampler records on dry fx but once you press keys on kboard it would play the sample through the fx. Hardtune loves the word baby lolol
Totally it has inbuilt wet and dry outputs which you can select when you have it selected as a sound card connected in your computer. As for the sampler I'm not sure if it can be done that way in standalone as I don't really use it like that, but I've been blown away by it's capabilities still to this day!
Hi bro, do you know how to by-pass the fx from the helicon? What I want is play the sax with the helicon to add son reverb and delay but some times I need it clean without any fx, but when I turn down the reverb(for example) it also down the volume, does it have wet an dry? Or something like that?
It can be done. I was amazed! It acts as a sound card, just use a usb and make sure you select it in your DAW. I'm shocked I honestly only just found this out because in the video it was really only connected via RCA audio jacks.
Do you always need to connect a keyboard? Can't you just simply connect your mic and then connect the outputs to a speaker or to a laptop in case you want to record your voice with effects like in, for example, reading a book or a speech?
Yes absolute you can do it that way. I don't actually connect my keyboard to it at all. Although that option would be good for someone who is playing live in a band and the song has heaps of keys changes. My songs almost always just remain in the same key so I just select a key and leave it.
@@EmlynInTheMix so glad to hear this, since I just want to quickly add effects to the voice or remove them while speaking or singing in a live gig, many thanks! :D :D :D
Next time you're going to review something, maybe be more prepared... It's really annoying to watch you freefall through various effects, obviously not knowing what you're talking about.
I'm sorry that it annoys you but I like to discover a feature whilst recording a video as it gives a real life reaction to the discovery. This is how I've been doing videos for years and I like giving my real reaction to something. If it's prepared and scripted it sort of loses that touch with reality in my opinion. But anyway thanks for coming and watching even though it may have been annoying lol.
I'm loving the overview and how easy it seems to be in functionality. It helps that he's super adorable, making it easy to watch all the way through.
Groovy! Thanks for sharing your awesome video
Glad you enjoyed it!
Hey ! Can this directly connect to the phone for live stream singsing? Im a beginner of these musician toy 😄

Pls help 😊. How to connect midi keyboard with usb & without midi in/out to perform ve?
Can you make a Video of how you plug the VE into your system ? I think that would help a lot of people..
Totally! Great idea.

Ion sing I make trap ass Travis Scott shit electronic shit
You could probably do that with the Perform VE. It's pretty versatile.
I'm using same Perform VE, mine is got freezed whenever I tried to set my vocals on it, do you haveing freezing issue?
Yes it does freeze, I just reset it and the freezing issue is random sometimes it comes on and other times it's fine. Might be worth contacting their support and a firmware update should fix that.
Emlyn In The Mix oh their support never answers, i tried to contact them million times from the website, twitter and instagram 🙅
I have the same problem. I am planning to return it to amazon

Great video! I have a question, can you use this as a live vocoder with a midi keyboard?
Yes it does have Midi in. But it’s more of a tuner FX rather then the traditional vocoder FX. That said it is fairly unique and awesome sounding!
Hi, if my midi controller only has a usb output, how can I connect it to this perform ve midi input?

Yea you can turn off the sections you don’t need and it will bypass those effects. You can have a completely dry signal if you want!
What button accesses the overall volume?.. did you figure out why the sample does not have effects?
If you hold down the Set button you get access to the input gain volume. Not yet on the sample.
Sample needs to be used with midi keyboard !! It’s awsome

sorry but I don't understand a thing. is there a possibility to go out in mono?
Yea absolutely you could just choose Left or Right and have it go into a Mono input if you wish.
Minor & major scale?
I wonder if it has a minor and major scale?
You can only set keys, but I found if you know the key of your track it's fine you just make sure you sing to scale and it will fit just right.
Yo, That noise floor is CRAZY Loud... Not good.
Duuuuuude I know. I think I've fixed it now since doing this video. This studio has had the worst feedback loop of my life lol.
