Thank you! As a Filipina living in Florida, I battle dark spots on a daily basis. I have had good results with Urban Skin Rx cleansing Bar and Paula's Choice Azaleic Booster. Also, the best sunscreen I have found is Cetaphil Sheer Mineral Face liquid sunscreen 50. Works nicely under makeup too.
An RN here Doc. I use most of these on my sunspots w/atuch of melasma. I manage to keep my hyperpigmentation down to a mere shadow, but it takes time and consistency. It isn't a race. I also use 4% HQ for only 12 weeks in the winter here in Arizona with the rest of the year off. ❤

I just found you, but I am so glad I did! I have very dark skin on my left elbow. And no matter how hard I have been trying for years, even with special products, it won't go away. Do you think these could work on it?
I tried ponds dark spot remover moisturizer. It may work for you but I have used this for 4 months and the spots are still the same. I am 38 with dry skin, when I use this it can start making my face peel while applying, this happens sporadically. The other issue was when applying over my dark spots it would make them really red.

I am a little bit confused because some ingredients (kojic acid, arbutin, azelaic acid etc) which help in the battle against melasma will make the skin more sensitive to UV light right? and therefore more sensitive to melasma. Therefore i am scared to use these products, i am confused 🤷♀️😄
