- A much-edited video of some fast banking turns low fly overs and my first gravel road and also field landings, I installed bigger tires. so, I tested them out went from 11-inch standard mx tires to a 15-inch tire. that gives me a Copple more inches of clearance. I tested out a cam on top of the rudder I thought it was a neat perspective. while flying around the town I found a fire truck putting out a house fire and seen a front yard full of firefighters all looking up at me. the day started out with lots of thermals but then seemed to calm down and ended up being a great flight. if Ya haven't hit the subscribe button be Shure to do that so you don't miss out on the upcoming videos. thanks for watching don't hesitate to ask a question or leave a comment. I'll do my best to answer anything I can. look me up on face book and join our group I started for the mx model of quicksilver. fly safe fly often

Is this not the funnest hobby
so far! Great video!!
Without doubt it is! After 10 years or so of flying RC planes the largest of which has 100cc DA swinging 27” prop, it was time to take the next step. A dream of mine soon to be realized is to buzz the RC field right in front of the guys.
Definitely with out a doubt lol. I knew this was gona be for me.
Flying is way more than a hobby. :-)
@@jamesordwayultralightpilot ya I guess I would call it a life style lol we technically pilots now haha
I have many years experience in these type of aircraft as well as this model. Your lack of use of the rudders is something you need to work on. All of these ultralight types need lots of rudder to fly well and proper.
Lol I only use the rudder my plane is a old school quicksilver mx 2 axis plane I don't even have spoilers. Do you have experience with a mx they are very different to fly? Still extremely easy tho.
@@jordonweets so your saying the rudder is connected to the stick
@@douglasmoran3070 yep the stick controls the rudder and also elevator. the pedals only controls the brakes
@@jordonweets I thought so cuz I going this guy never moves the feet lol
@@douglasmoran3070 lol ya I wouldn't be doing so well haha I really like how it handles it would probably take me a bit to get used to a 3 axis plane I guess.
Your getting much more proficient with your flying skills but I guess like anything practice practice practice. I especially like the fast n low and you have some of the nicest train of which to fly over. What do you use to video?
Thanks I only have 2 gopro hero 4 atm I want to get a gopro 7 when funds allow. I was shown the 7 can take away a ton of the shaking something with the software I guess
I’m using GoPro 360 and still learning how to edit the videos
Looks like fun. However, there are FAA guidelines you must follow at non-towered aircraft. You should consider getting and reading AIM (Airman's Information Manual. I don't see you on a radio and there may be traffic coming in you are not aware of which could get you both in some serious hurt!
I am not required to use a raido but I do for mine and other pilots safety. Also I do have a AIM book thanks for watching 😊
Hi Jordan did you train yourself? or get some professional training
I taught myself.
