    Jim thank you. In other words it starts So just pretending it's in 6-8 we're going to start on the two and we're going to end on the one... Steve would call it displaced.... I was trying to start with the snare part and I was finding that I was initiating on the warn when I needed to be on the two.

    You are playing exactly the same notes and patterns as gadd, and it still doesn’t sound at all like him. That is NOT a criticism by any means. Gadd has a physicality that’s big, but very, very loose and relaxed. I think it’s critical to point out to any student that Gadd’s sound goes far deeper than the notes he played. That is what makes Gadd such a fascinating player to me.
    Excellent video, please keep them coming.

      @Zach Barnhart What are you on about? It's about as close as can be. Obviously with a different tuning, different mics and room. Sigh, there's always some damned "expert"!
