Ernie, I love your teaching style so much.
    You're so 'down to earth'.
I wish we could meet for a lesson.
    Thank you for this.

Funny you never hear anyone say that about a flatpick. Using any kind of pick takes practice. Giving up on fingerpicks because they feel funny at first is like giving up stringed instruments because they hurt your fingers. NOTHING feels right at first, that's why you practice.

@Tommy7FilmEpidodes I'm sure the Blind Rev would be proud, as it was Davis himself who taught hawkins to play

While this is a great version of this song it has little resemblance to Louis Armstrong's version.

Well first he was playing a trumpet in another key. Meat…….

Well, who's to say that one version is better than another?
      It's only opinion...
Bach, for example, arranged the same tune, many times, for trumpet, cello, oboe, strings...
You shouldn't be fixated on one version, perhaps...

How do you know? You have never seen what is on the other side, or what isn't there. How can you say with 100% certainty there is no Heaven?

How? Seriously? The same way we disbelieve in silly human constructs like the Tooth Fairy, leprechauns, and Santa Claus.

No Santa, Leprechauns, and Tooth fairy is the basis of your Atheism?
I'd recommend looking a bit more into it, it's kind of a serious subject
