- Hello to all the lovely people. Welcome back to my channel. In today's video, I will be showing you my flying experience on Thai Airways A350's Business Class from Singapore to Bangkok. This is actually my first experience with Thai's A350 Royal Silk Class. My first experience was on Thai's 787 Business Class from KUL to BKK. As an overall, nothing major "wow" me despite the food is good and seats are great. At least on this flight, I didn't encounter dirty seats again, (click the link to watch my TG 787 KUL-BKK's trip report). However, there are still some can be pinpointed out. No menu for Royal Silk's passengers. About the crew, it really depends on your luck. Some crew are great but some are not, they just rush to finish the service. The guy who carried basket of bread, just stand in front of me without saying anything or asking me if I want any bread. He was also the one who served me welcoming drinks. Just carried a tray of welcoming drinks and without saying anywhere. In terms of safety check, there are some varies too. On KUL-BKK's trip, crew would make sure the side armrest is lowered, TV screen is at its original position and drinking glass to be cleared before take off. However, on the SIN-BKK's route, none of those mentioned were done by the crew. Erratic! They just swiftly stormed through the cabin and get to their take off position, despite the taxi-ng is very long. Lavatories are dirty, wet, even before take off, it should be properly cleaned but it was dirty and amenities are not stocked up. Junior crew are smiling, attentive and proactive in checking if passengers still need something else, offering another drinks or snack to the passengers. All in all, this airlines only deserve an average to above average rating from me. To me, there is still lots of improvement and management needs to work hard to keep this Thai national carrier's fame and glory shining. My next plan is to experience their brand new product on B773ER.
[Some basic info] Thai Airways currenly own 12 A350-941. There are 321 seats onboard with 32 Royal Silk in staggered position. A350 are mostly deployed for Jakarta, Munich, Milan, Stockholm, Jakarta, Denpasar, Seoul, Melbourne and others. However, I personally notice that fleet type could change anytime. It is advised that passengers and aviation enthusiasts to check the fleet type from time to time. For example, B773 could also be used

Wow another great trip report mate! That meal looks very tasty. I also really like the tail cam on their A350's. Hope they can make some touch ups to some ageing parts of the seat. Looking forward to more videos from you 🤩🙌🏻

That's true, TG's catering is great and I wish I can try the second choice if I can still gulp down more food actually 😂 Agree with you, some touch ups really need to be carried out and have thorough maintenance. At least this fleet is cleaner compared to the previous one (KUL-BKK), which I got very dirty seats 😢
Great to have the chance to see what the Thai Royal Silk experience is like on the A350. For me probably the catering was the best part of the flight. I`m surprised to see such wear and tear in a relatively new aircraft though. Thanks for posting Dragflyer!
You are the most welcomed 🙏 Thanks for dropping by Pierre. Indeed, the catering was great. I hope TG's management will really have a look into the maintenance and service issue. It really depends on your luck sometimes.
If the catering was the best part, the rest of the experience must have been terrible. I've had food I'm premium that looks better than that. No wonder Thai Have no money with a service like that.
I find the cabin crew rude on 3 occasions.
1. When they did not answer to you about the signature drink prior to take-off.
2. The male FA asking for your meal options, holding 2 fingers with palm facing inwards is rude in certain culture.
3. The female FA leaning on your seat when asking for drinks.
THAI needs to improve a lot to get back to its former glory days.
That's true. You nailed all the points so well. They are either unintentionally made those mistakes such as placing the arms on the seat. The one who did not even introduce or recommend the bread indeed and signature drink prior to take-off are indeed rude. Thanks for watching my vlog.

Airbus 350 is also my favourite aircraft. Thanks for sharing such a great scene of Thai Airways service. No major complain but TG really needs to revamp its crews' service and overall training.

Thai Airways is really in a sad state. Their cabin crew are amazing, food and especially the butterfly pea lemonade is amazing. I hope to see this airline return to its glory time and reinstate the LAX routes.
A350 is definitely my favourite aircraft. The steak looks great. I would love to have that meals if I have the chance.

Hiya. Love the A350 but love the A330neo more..and certainly both beat the 787 handsdown. Simple things like window shades being better than the gimmicky window dimmer which does jack.

Pretty curious on when does the crew wear their traditional uniform since most of the time we could see them in their modern uniforms
Thanks for your comments and your time dropping by my channel Isaac. That's a good question, I also wonder that too and too bad I didn't get the chance to ask the crew onboard. I guess they will put it on during a long haul flight, or whenever there are important people onboard (my assumption) 😁 Hopefully if there is any big fan of TG who reads this can help clarify.
For flights between Thailand and ASEAN countries, i do not see any more traditional Thai uniform. I think they changed it after covid

I mostly fly from here (Newark, NJ) to Thailand with Singapore airline as the best service and plane compared with United. However, it would be nice to fly Thai Airway so I can chitchat with Thai crew in my own language as I am a native Thai 😊

that would be a truly great experience if you could chit chat with the crew in Thai language. SQ also recruit Thai nationality cabin crew, have you ever met one of them onboard EWR to SIN to BKK?
@@harisnoorbijanto9148 sawaddeekrab, it takes 1.5 - 2 hours from Newark to JFK depending on traffic. I prefer to take SQ21-22 because I live in NJ. But I would love to try SQ25-26 as they use A380 in these routes.
@@Dragflyer9669 not as I’m aware of. All of crews on these long haul flights (SQ21, 22, 23, 24) are Singaporean. Service is top notch on these flights.
As time goes, will ALL aircraft have the "TAIL-VIEW" of the aircraft as standard feature? I've always hated looking out the side.
hopefully more airlines' fleet will have tail view cam.

Thai cabin crews are very super senior
That's true (based on my observation). Many young crew (junior) are in Economy class.
I wish you had shown the menus, both food and drinks.

Thanks for your comment. Unfortunately, hard-copy menu was either absent on my flight or crew did not distribute it. Same goes to the IFE, menu wasn't available in the page. I guess on longer hours' flights, menu will be provided.

Sadly menus are no longer distributed to passengers post covid.
