I feel like John’s third stint in the band shows a significant shift in soloing style. Lot more tapping and arpeggios, even borderline metal shredding.
I don’t like red hot at all but this was very cool ! He’s a great lead guitar player .. With Chad and Flea those lead parts might come to life in live shows 😝
I think this is one of those things that's probably awesome in the excitement of the moment, live show energy, concert just starting.... But hearing it now, it sounds like he's trying out an amp at guitar center and wandering around the neck trying to decide what key to play in. (But I still love the band)
