This video changed my life. I was 6 years old - crazy about video games. This is how I got hooked to Red Hot Chili Peppers and subsequently rock music.
Good video essay. Has all the qualities I enjoy. No over-talking, showing the source (aka RHCP) instead of quoting and saying it yourself, no over-researched areas. Perfect!
Wow i'm so glad I clicked on this video, what a treat. It was so nice having everything laid out nicely in front of me so I could enjoy it all super easily. Seriously, amazing job! I would love to see this type of video with any other of their songs! Or whole albums in fact maybe
Its one thing to love the song and video, but to find out how it was made behind the scenes, makes me love it even more. I think because i can appreciate the art and creativity that went into it. You also get the sense that it wouldve been really fun to actually be there while it was all happening. Im just happy i was around when it came out (I was 5) lol.

I legit as a kid thought there was no way video games would ever reach that point. At least not anytime soon. But I always thought it would be so cool if they did. It's funny looking back because it looks silly now compared to the state of modern video games lol.
