I feel like John’s third stint in the band shows a significant shift in soloing style. Lot more tapping and arpeggios, even borderline metal shredding.

The only thing RHCP are doing these days is on-stage masturbation, and it looks pathetic. At least one thing remains consistent: Anthony still can’t sing on pitch. “Flat” is hardly an adequate description. I liked this band a lot more when AK and JF were junkies. Their music was way better.
