Very excited to see this all work. I have a ton of confidence in everyone. I have been a diehard fan since 1967, was at both parades that I still hold dear in my heart. We have a Great coach and coaching staff in place. Excited for Danny and Jonesy to head this in the right direction. I have to say that Mr. Hilferty needs to bring back Kate Smith statue and her singing God Bless America. LETS GO FLYERS

Well the marketing team is firing on all cylinders at least.
Looking forward to next season with this new management team in place and returning the FLYERS to glory. On a side note Pelle Lindbergh’s number 31 should be officially retired this upcoming season and he should be placed in the Flyers Hall of Fame! These are two things that are so very long overdue!

@@och70 how do you figure he was a lousy GM? The flyers went to Stanley cup finals a few times with him as GM. And if it wasn't for massive injuries, probably should have won at least one of them. Flyers teams were always in the tops when Clarke was GM.

A winning formula is finding players who can score goals. That means speed and skill in today's NHL. Two things we are severely lacking.

I just hope people understand that next year and likely the next 2 or 3 years after that are still going to suck. This franchise was buried in a hole, and it won't be easy to climb back out of it.
Now we need Danny and Jonesy to sell to other players in the league WHY philly is going to be the next destination you want to be at. I want to see twitter rumours of players potentially coming to the flyers or wanting to come on their own terms. We have the product now go and sell it
To have a successful rebuild you need multiple players taken 1st, 2nd, or 3rd in draft. We will not get that w Torts. So let’s speed up the rebuild by acquiring already highly drafted players. Alexis Lafrenière & Quinton Byfield would be perfect. The Rangers want a scoring RW for Lafreniere, which we have a surplus of. LA wanted Provy in the past. Then bring in some RHD(Boqvist, Schneider, Ceulemans), n we should be good to go.
Let's hope, of all of them, Torts has the patience to wait as they work on the rebuild.

It would be a great start to finding the winning formula that has eluded this team since 1975 if they had an actual person that owned the team, instead of a soulless corporation. I'm not buying the hype. Talk is cheap.
i feel like the issue is that we have so many bad contracts i dont know if we will be able to move them. so many are way too long and way overpaid. chuck fletchers trademark. i fear we will have to pull a minnesota and buy out some of these terrible contracts and that'll put us in salary hell for the next 5 years. chuck did the same shit to us that he did to minnesota and we are paying the price for still hiring him on after witnessing his incompetence.

Another season with bs hype for the next season. Proof comes at the end of every season. BS hype seems to be more of an obligation than a winning season. Don't sh*t talk me wrong. Prove me wrong.

Just like all the promises of rebuilding over the last 10 years. I don't expect the Flyers to be a good team again until the corporation that owns them sells the team to a group that cares more about hockey, than profits. I have heard all of this before. Year after year of rebuilding, just to rebuild again. I watch players that didn't do so well in Philly move on to other team and play well. They can hype this any way they want, but I don't believe any of it. The last management team had an open checkbook, from what I remember. Did they sign any of the premier free agents... NO. This is a joke of an organization, and after being a Flyers fan since I was a kid, I can barely watch the current team play.

Open checkbook.... Well I guess if you want to say we signed ridiculous contracts and we're at the maximum cap, sure. But we really didn't have any room to sign a superstar. We were cap strapped.
We need a very good défensive team, the défense Win championship 🏒😉👍
