Painting a Wolf Head Wall Sculpture

  • In this video, you can see how I quickly painted my new wolf head wall sculpture. The pattern went together easily, and I added a lot of texture to it with paper mache clay. You can see how I did that in the first two videos on this page: www.ultimatepapermache.com/wo...
    There was so much texture on the sculpture that I could get away with just dry-brushing some warm black over the darker parts of the wolf's face. Then I added a few brush strokes of white, and painted the eyes with yellow ochre. I've never painted a sculpture like this before, and it's very simple - but this time it seemed to work.
    I'm especially happy with that 'fur brush' I made - it was really easy, but it worked really well. I used it with the DIY modeling paste. You can see the video about that new recipe here: • Easy Diy Modeling Past...
