I think one of your super-powers that we don't talk about often enough is your MEMORY! You not only remember names, patterns, and prices, but what you've picked up and where. Goodness!!
Hello beautiful Momma! How's our banana box family today? I hope you all had a great week and will be relaxing and enjoying your weekend 😊 I hope you know that we appreciate that you take us shopping with you. And then you take the time to do a voice over because of music. We very much appreciate all the time and effort you put forth for us each and every day 😉
So upset due to snowstorm upstate New York my Hubby has to work now!!! Really wanted to meet you! Sure hope you record a little of your meet and greet! God Bless
The big yellow Pyrex bowl,we had since i was young about 3 months ago i dropped it,and it shattered 😩just to let you know i am now 65, i was in tears 😞😞
Jocelyn, pregnancy definitely agrees with you! You look so pretty and your disposition is so sweet! I can hear it in your voice. I know you are making a video but you can’t fake this!
Jocelyn, There is a platter, creamer, 6 cups, and saucers at the Goodwill Store on the Carlisle Pike in Mechanicsburg that match the sugar bowl with the lid. I almost bought them but they didn't have the sugar bowl. The pink sugar bowl with a lid you picked up would match them. This was today, 2.26.22 after seeing you and Dagny, Drew, and George at Lemoyne Antiquemarket Place. Maybe it would still be there. Enjoyed seeing you again. The crazy girl you met at the CH Goodwill Bins, Michele
At 2:38, the plates with the carrots on them…Hand painted artist Toyo. They’re decorative of course and can be worth money. That particular set I believe had four plates with different vegetables. I bought a set of Santa plates by Toyo that sell for about $25 a piece.
Since learning so much from you I scored a Peggy Karr fused glass bowl & a Higgins fused glass platter for $3 & $6 at two different Goodwills. Both signed of course! 👍
I hope you are doing well🙂 I hope you, Dagny and George have a wonderfull Meet&greet tomorrow. Wish I could be there but Denmark is a bit of a commute😄
Jocelyn you are so much fun to shop with and I have enjoyed watching your super powers at work!. I have seen so many beautiful things from other countries that I would not have had the opportunity to view or learn about! Thank you 😊 Have a blessed day .
The painting is a Van Gogh and of course, not original, lol. I'm amazed what I must have retained from my Art History courses 20 years ago, but I recognized the brushwork...baffled!
@@AnneliOberman Did some googling and yes Flora plates were in production in 1983-87, so you have some vintage pieces 🤗. Plates are very rare find and I think that serving plate could be Flora after all. 👍
I found a glassy baby "in the wild" today at a re-sale consignment store. It had been there long enough to reach its lowest price of $38, so I admired it and eventually walked away. It might just migrate to the 50% off room at some point and then...maybe? It was marked and pretty. I also found a Jim Shore at a garage sale today, my first! I was tickled!
I don't know how I missed this video, I watch nonstop. You're so amazingly knowledgeable about so many things, I really appreciate everything I learn from you. I'm also trying to learn more about clear glass and trying to think of a way to repurpose in a way that is pretty. I have so much to learn and you're already way ahead of the curve. Blessings to you and your family.
I found two pieces of Hadley pottery on the cart at GW recently. When I got to the shelf, there were two more! I couldn't believe it! Prices $1.99 to $7.99 each.
The GWs around me don’t have anyone who keeps track of the going prices of vintage goods. If they hear that Pyrex is a hot seller, they just mark all Pyrex $20 😂
Your GW has some beautiful things! I found the same four Spode rocks glasses last year at mine. Great finds with the pitcher! I think I saw a vintage orange juice glass at the bottom of the bin where you got the creamer and sugar....I wonder if there were more?
The painting was a Van Gogh. That would have been quite a find! :) I'm glad you are mentioning when Goodwill's prices are too high. Maybe they'll start to get the message. Always enjoy the picking!
This was an excellent trip you found some wonderful items so happy for you I know Goodwill has been a hit or miss. You seem to be in good health and doing wonderfully with your pregnancy. Blessings as always. Pam
THE BOWL AT 10:54, beside the teepee dish you picked up is a bitossi!!!! Laura Caldwell is always on the hunt for those on her channel, worth a good bit!
Those prices for that Pyrex was ridiculous for Goodwill! They're in terrible shape! Why is that Goodwill charging so much? I guess they're raising their prices like every other place!
THE ART WORK DIDN'T GET IS A VAN GOGH --- ( HOUSES AT AUVERS ) CANVAS . IT HANGS IN MY DOCTORS OFFICE AN HIS IS A POSTER FROM THE ART SHOW AT THE MET GALLA IN THE EARLY 90'S. THE ONE YOU LOOKED AT WAY!! BETTER AND COULD BE A FIRST PRINT . GO GET IT, JUST SAYIN!! MUCH LOV
I love your channel but, I don’t shop much at goodwill anymore, they are just too expensive to make a profit. I love DAV, SPCA and we have one that supports a woman’s shelter called Stepping Stones…. They have VERY GOOD prices on GREAT STUFF 😉
Here in UK ther called spatulars....you got some really lovely things...that serving bowl is lovely...Jocelyn flower fairy mentioned 'pregnancy'...have I missed something...
⭐ Great finds today, m'dear! Always fun to watch your shopping adventures at "THE Goodwill"! LOL 💁♀️ It's a pleasure to see your beautiful glowing face! 😊 🙏 God Bless You, Andrew, your children and all your future endeavors! ♡♡♡♡♡♡ (I've included a heart for each of you, including the little girl you're expecting!!! 🤰) 🥰
You also teach! I have learned a lot from you in picking out good quality pieces. I use decorative plates on bookcases and plate rails around my home. 🥰
You have the luck of the Irish for sure. After you picked up the Spode pitcher and glasses the other Christmas cups and saucers are a Pfaltzgraph Heritage pattern that has been retired.
I purchased for $22.00 A Tory Burch purse that had tags inside that said $575. It also had a wallet included that is still sold that CV cost $198.00. I've carried this purse constantly and BB it looks fantastic, I also got a $300+ Brahmin for $14.98. Yes check out this purses.
OMGosh! You were literally in my neck of the woods! The goodwills around here are a joke. The cost of good has risen so much, it is ridiculous! My boyfriend and I hardly go anymore ☹️
Believe it or not, my Goodwill's in Oregon have even higher prices. I found a CHIPPED hobbyist Raggedy Ann figurine (not very nice, like a child did it & not vintage) & they were asking $29.99! I literally gasped when I saw the price. I don't donate to them or shop there anymore either. I am over their greediness...
@@LindaKayHolevas I sent them an email and told them They are selling donated items and they have priced the items so high that it is not a thrift store! themselves so
I went to the nearest Goodwill by me (40 miles) the other day..not much there, shelves a mess and the prices..I was shocked by..I was literally laughing/gasping out loud at them…I live in a small town and can get better deals at the antique shop and 2 small charity thrift shops in town..I’m staying local now and help them. Plus I go to auctions if they’re nearby and they are the best!!
Love watching your videos. I do Goodwill flipping for a profit, on the side and a MUCH smaller scale. My specialty is china and crystal/glassware. Not long ago, I found two decorated Pyrex lids at GW for $4 each. One had a couple of discreet chips, glad I grabbed it anyway. It was worth more than the unchipped one. Sold them for $15 and $25--unchipped, it would've brought a shocking $50!--in under a week. Sometimes, seeing the stuff you pass makes me twitch. I think I spotted a Villeroy and Boch Manoir vegetable bowl there. I have bought single Wedgwood salad plates for under a dollar, and sold for as much as $30.
Loved this video. Really enjoy the addition of the estimated values. Are you planning attend the 2022 Springfield Extravaganza May 20-22? If so, my friend is closing showcase (full of moriage porcrlain) at the Springfield Antique Center on Titus Rd ... She has 4-5 more boxes of it in her attic that she would love to sell in one lot. If you are interested.

That old yellow Pyrex bowl brings a lot if memories back to me when my mom used hers on a regular basis..
I have that exact Roadrunner, it is a good luck piece, the back is usually worn from people rubbing it.
The painting is a copy of one by Van Gogh called "House of Auvers"
I can't wait for the "Sold" video of this trip! You found so many treasures.

Our grandma loved Spode, Waterford and Stickley furniture.
Passed it down to us.
I love the way u laugh when u find a funny treasure. You keep ur videos lighthearted.
I had one of those Finnish bowls. A favorite wedding gift from our favorite and very hip elderly neighbor. 48 years ago. It’s a classic design.

That clear bowl is designed by Oiva Toikka for iittala. It is called Flora. That clear floral plate I did not recognize to be Finnish.
I have some of the flora pieces and that plate looks different
Isn't that deep crystal bowl for trifle?

Hope you have a great turn out in Lemoyne tomorrow!!!❤
I can't believe Goodwill prices!!! Yikes!
The sugar bowl with top and no chips! The matching milk pitcher with no chips!
