I wasn't going to go thrifting after the hurricane, but needed a break from the chaos. It was my best thrifting day ever! A pair of Glassybaby candle holders (my first ever), six Waterford glass ornaments, a Tiffany crystal bowl, two Portmeirion Botanica pieces and a Lily Pulitzer dress. It made it easier to continue cleaning up the mess. 💙
Retail therapy can sometimes be the best therapy. I am sorry for everyone affected from the hurricane. I am glad though, to see you getting thru it. Mag prayers coming your way.
Nachtmann is extremely good quality. We used to shop the outlet near Czech republic. American military often bring back nachtmann pieces to the states where it is not known quite as much.
Young Blud is a singer from the UK. He is actually pretty terrific and very good to his fans. You should check him out. I am 69 and enjoy his music. 😊❤
I came here to comment the same thing. He has great fashion sense. CLL isn’t familiar with David Bowie (shocker) much less Yungblud but her jam is lamps and glass.
I went to gw ( 2) yesterday( Columbus Day) it was packed and left with nothing. Went back today ( senior day in Maine) and found some goodies, including Edgecomb Pottery! 1st time ever and its half hr down the road...lol
That bowl @14:51 is my sort of aesthetic. Very rarely find anything like that around me. 😸 I like finding ceramics, trays etc with either an abstract design or if you've ever seen the Voynich Manuscript, with lots of little critters and designs like that. 🧙
I think that the woman wall hanging that was given to you is a string holder. There was a small hole in her basket and a place on the back to place your ball of string.
@17:20 Re that pretty floral set.... could they be pillow shams? Really pretty, whatever they are! IDK why, but as soon as I saw them, that's what came to mind! Just a thought. 🤔❤️
Love watching you thrift in the best stores ever!!! I am green 💚 with envy at all the beautiful things I see!!! My goodwills here in Htown are always bare!!! Thank you for all the hard work!!! One day I hope to RV your way and hit some of your great spots… until then I will be shopping with you!!😊
The big star is broken. Could probably be fixed easy. You missed it. Yungblud is a singer!😂. Not a fairy!!🤣 All though he might be, I’m not sure. 🤔🤣 The Crofton canisters -there were three.
I pick those up whenever I can get them cheap to put Christmas cookies in to give to neighbors, the mailman, etc. you can just put a big bow on the top and you have a nice little gift. Coffee or a mix of dry ingredients for your favorite muffins or brownies, etc. make an inexpensive but thoughtful gift for the people who you just need a little something for.
06:42 Ehhhh ... Not so much a _key_ as just a latch release, kinda like the ones you see on modern-day loo-roll dispensers. They're VERY easily jimmied. 16:55 They seem like either a tablecloth or table runner, and some matching placemats.
Wow no idea that Aldi is international! I think I have only been in one, and can’t remember what part of the USA I was, I believe it was somewhere in the Midwest or maybe upstate New York? It is not very upscale…
The star might be a really good find. The Homeschool thrifter found a Nativity scene made by that company which is Germany and it sold for 1,500.00 dollars on eBay. Let us know if it was a really good find.
The Homeschool thrifter also found Christmas trees made like the star and they where broken but they sold anyway because they where valuable and could be fixed.
Awe you should have picked the doilies up you can sew them together to create a beautiful table runner. Google it and you can see what I'm talking about. They don't have to match or be the same size.
The glass items at 10:46 are by Pfaltzgraff. It looks like the cheese shaker and the glass creamer (there was also a matching sugar bowl that went with it) in the Evening Sun pattern.
@@teresahall1580 thats an obvious answer, but often, she sats, i plenty of ,, whatever, i dont need more. So i wondered if possibly shes forgotten about the boxes at the old shop. No harm, no foul. 🙂

Hello Jocelyn, I think the first mug had Masonry symbols. I really don’t know the names, but I guess they are. Hugs from Portugal 🇵🇹 and, by the way, I saw a portuguese apron when you picked the table linens. So funny!!!. Goodbye or “ Adeus “👋

They still sell The Homeschooling Picker just sold some ornaments that were much more damaged for a great profit. She mailed it with the pieces.
I saw that piece earlier in the week and left it because of the damage. Still very cool though.

Same Nachtmann as the lucite candles I assume?
The little sugar bowl with grey lid is Denby Spring, made in England.

Vintage tins: sell them & market them as a means to hold your coffee beans (maybe even bag & all) inside!

Maybe little snowball candles go in those scandinavien holders?
For a Christmas gift, your family should find a wooden object & upcycle it, have a limited budget for the wooden object
I thought the in Macau made trinket box was very cute for $2,99..😊
Loved the video❤😊.
Here in Australia, Crofton is sold at Aldi supermarkets, so I assume it's sold somewhere equivalent in the States.
Yes Crofton is an Aldi brand in the US, also. They make some nice kitchenware.

Good evening Jocelyn ❤❤😊😊
Forgetting there's a public holiday is top tier self-employed energy LOL I do it all the time!
Same! The only way I remember is if I have to stop at the post office to ship orders ^_^
Or the retired.... I had some chocolate chip cookies to drop off for my friendly post office workers when I picked up my mail...and they were closed!
Me every holiday: WHY are all of these people in MY thrift store???
I would like the three Rivers snowman pottery you just picked up what should I do

The Portmeirion mark is an older one.
