Y'all find the best stuff. I enjoy your thrifting videos, especially the bins. Zeb's expression when Jami said that the punch bowl was going to live at y'all's house for a while was funny.
My trick for easy paint stir is storing the cans upside down (just make sure they're closed well). Then, when you put the can back up, the heavy bits falling down help in mixing the paint 😉
THE LITTLE CHICKEN IS MOST LIKELY AN EGG SEPARATER. You can get the "snow" texture by getting an old hand mixer and when your wax is melted, whip it with the mixer intil it textures up... I have a snowman candle that I do not butn but it comes out each Christmas, my youngest son made it for me when he was 15 and he is 38 now
I love your finds this week, especially that antique punch bowl. I also love that you are now keeping your Monday "Bins" footage in your Monday thrifting videos. (Thank you for doing that!) It makes your Thursday videos more exciting-I never know what you'll be posting!
I love that you found the punch bowl! I love displaying things in my house before selling them! The stuff doesn't get any newer lol. Also love the tins you painted at the end!
Great video. Of all the things you picked I enjoyed the cake decorated the most. It reminded me of my mother using one like that in the fifties. She could make her cakes special. Also great textile finds.
I seem to remember something about whipped wax applied to the outside of a ball candle to make snowball candles. My mom made them when I was very young, loooong time ago!
I love watching your videos :) Wish thrift stores in Canada were that good and wish we had Goodwill bins! Some of the smaller afghans could be used by people in wheelchairs for lap blankets :)
After searching I didn't find any punch bowls that sold for over $350. I did see several for sale from $100 to $295. I guess it's worth what someone is willing to pay for it. Great find.
This was a great haul! There was a cobalt blue and white cup and saucer at 7:23 and 9:04. I believe that was "Calico" from Burleigh Pottery in England. I think that's fairly collectible. That might be a good pattern to pick up for your blue and white customers if you run across it again unless it was a knock off.
Great haul I’d say. 🤩😍🤩the antler knife sharpeners the corduroy quilt the wicker hamper the ironstone punch bowl 😮 the creepy vintage bunny container the globe the wee brass clock the bait canteen the vintage floral prints the crocheted floral afghan the wool stockings the Pendleton quilt the oak shelf AND....Jack in the Box tacos?!?!?🌮🌮🌮, YES❣️😃
Jami those clocks you pick up that look like large pocket watches - I have seen them often sitting on a nice easel. If you want to look for the easel, might be in a different section - maybe frames.
Another thrifter I follow, calls that weird ceramic rabbit mold, “ stink eye Joe”. So funny, I don’t think I’ve seen another one except the ones she finds.
Wow that antique ironstone punch bowl was a huge score!! That was some fast manifesting.. I loved seeing you put it out there before you went in!❤ I hope you show us later how you display it in your home. What a find!!
Fast food tacos are so unhealthy. Cool finds. Been collecting Ironstone for years and half my collection has come from GW 10-12 years ago when tons of stamped pieces were just laying around in store.
These "brass" frames are not actually brass. They are some other, cheaper alloy. There were a lot of such frames in Dollar Tree in the 90s. I would not recommend buying them, they had no value and were mass-produced.
@@dah-lv1hm it’s just a brand of clothing he’s been wearing since we were teenagers. We have an outlet close by and he always gets good deals. So he stocks up. They are a skateboard/surfboard brand.
In my opinion Goodwill has become GREEDY. I live close to Memphis and everything is WAY overpriced and it's all donated. The racks are so tightly packed you can't even look. I go to the bins but pretty much don't shop Goodwill.
What a wealth of quilts this week! Maybe a group of quilts should be called a cozy of quilts!
Love that idea
The chicken was a egg separater . To separate the whites from the yolk!
So cool!
I love the little ceramic chicken egg separator.
The punch bowl is amazing, and it's a great find. I would keep it if I were you.
The Ironstone punch bowl is fantastic! Fun video 🩷🙌😎
Jami, that Rae Dunn book stack was small and would've been such a quick and easy paint project. I believe it would've sold in minutes!
Jamie, you look so pretty today, your makeup just glows!
Jami is the queen of dry brushing. I love the pieces she painted today. The details really popped when she dry brushed them. ❤
Oh guys - such great finds!! I'm amazed. That big white quilt is amazing!

Louise Dickenson Rich’s son Rufus used to live across the road from us in Maine. I love her books.
The “we took to the woods” book you found.
Oh that’s fun!
Love that you pick up chipped things
I LOVE that corduroy quilt!!!

Zeb- if the title page is not in the front of the book, it will be in the back many times 😊. From an avid watcher and a librarian
❤ the punch bowl!!
Those brown tooled Leather looking books you pushed away are awesome! I’d love more to add to what I have. They are Time Life. Books Old West….

Derby ware is big, especially the pottery piece. Good find!

Thanks! It’s a little more work so there may still be weeks we split it up. But it’s fun to change things up ❤️❤️❤️
I love that you found the punch bowl! I love displaying things in my house before selling them! The stuff doesn't get any newer lol. Also love the tins you painted at the end!
We were so excited. We set out to find antiques and we did. But we had no idea we’d find that.
I’m in love with the ironstone punch bowl!

Truly believe in the power of asking, and you will receive. If I openly speak it, the item appears. Love the paint job on those items! 😊
Really great thrifting today. The quilts and linens are amazing
After watching your wonderful video, I get antsy to go out to my local GW! Trying to remember all your terrific tips!
"We Took To The Woods" is an excellent read! :)
Oh my gosh, so many incredible fines it’s hard to pick favorites. But I gotta say… Again with the incredible linens!
I am always looking for ironstone at Goodwill. What a fantastic score!
@@theresaramos2788 this is hands down the best we have ever found
I love all of your finds. ❤️ Jami, you look so pretty
Thanks friend!
Watching from Jersey, Channel Islands,UK. Hooked on your videos. First to comment, yea!
Always fun to watch you two! Some great finds!
Most GW pull true antiques to sell online or in the boutiques.
I just learned yesterday that Derby cups/glasses/stoneware was made and made for sale, so people would stop stealing them. Some are very valuable.
Great haul.this week... love the ironstone punch bowl...I wish I had a bigger house...lol
Jami, you look really pretty today, I like your hair this way.
I've sold the hammered copper/brass thingie and I use another one to surround a plant pot! :)
Another great video 🎉❤ love the thrift shop videos 🎉🎉🎉
You guys find the coolest stuff! Wish I had a good partner! Fun!

Yes! Lots of people collect Derby stuff.

I found a couple that range on Etsy. Either way it was a fun find 😊
I saw just now on Etsy that was sold for over $400 same maker...
Love thrifting videos!
Jami I think that one chicken you got is an egg separator !
Hello everyone and how are you doing today 😊

The big hook is for a semi truck fifth wheel helps unlock the hitch
Omg I loooove that dove wool Christmas stocking those are money!!

First time watcher - liked and subscribed, great video.
I think it's great that you can even get Zeb into a thrift store. My husband is the worst shopper ever!
Great haul!!!
Thank you for sharing!
I think that little chicken thing is an egg separator.
Wow you did goid
I adore that corduroy quilt. In Canada that would be $30 at least in GW, more in VV.
I think that rooster is a string dispenser typically in the kitchen
Think the metal hook Zeb found, I think truckers use them like maybe on the hitch?
Colette
That kids book, Can Fly looked old. I hope you grabbed it.
Dr. Lori says about books to get cookbooks, children's books, and first editions.
I love looking through the book bins, too. Do you sell most of yours online or in your shop?
Hi everyone
Smaller quilts are called crib quilts
How can people leave family photos in frames
You don’t need to put a afghan just on a bed. They can be used on chairs or sofa too!!
I'm guessing Shawnee Pottery on the bunny cookie jar.
Decoupage those battery operated candles
Big hook - maybe to grab a block of hay ?
Another thrifter I follow, calls that weird ceramic rabbit mold, “ stink eye Joe”. So funny, I don’t think I’ve seen another one except the ones she finds.
I love it. Definitely stink eye joe.
10:19 that wasnt crib sized quilt... it was more a table runner
Once the carts have been sorted through what happens to the stuff left? Does it go to landfill?
I’m not sure maybe?
What did you find out about that bunny cookie jar? It looks really old
We haven’t looked it up yet. It’s soaking right now it was really greasy
Wow that antique ironstone punch bowl was a huge score!! That was some fast manifesting.. I loved seeing you put it out there before you went in!❤ I hope you show us later how you display it in your home. What a find!!
The day of creepy rabbits LOL

It's for turning logs on a fire i think.

@@Dana-ke5fe they are definitely a cheat meal.
Halloween bunny lol
I have a baby bunny on the patio with me right now!
Chicken with the slit in the front is a egg separator…….
😊👍👋
That $300 punch bowl, has a crack, as you know. If you ship that, won’t the crack get further cracked and come off possibly?
Just takes a lot of packing material and a box within a box
No love for the poor winking rabbit 😢

Oh my, the prices in your area are very inexpensive!!!!
