The round bakeware Zeb picked up-it's for making "Cake Pops" like a lollipop. You put a stick up inside them when they come out of the oven. Then when they are cool enough to work with, you put the icing on them.
A very close friend of mine volunteered in Long Beach,CA at the Assitance League and now does in Washington..❤ She loves doing it! That cabinet is soo stinkin cute!! I bet it will sell the wood color..though it would be a fun one to paint and flip..glad you set it out in the shop this way. It looks really nice!❤❤
The plate that you bought with the “coat of arms” on it is actually the crest for my college sorority - Kappa Kappa Gamma. It is one of the oldest in America, founded in 1870.
My upstate NY thrift stores vary by how small town they are, also if college towns! One of these has two Rescue Reuse stores, very unusual items at great prices! Blessed days!
I like that you’re thrifting other places than Goodwill. We have the worst Goodwill closest to our house but I refuse to donate there. They put donations straight into a semi trailer and take them somewhere else. I make my kids drive to Genesis Women’s Shelter much farther away or Salvation Army. If you’ve ever been in a disaster area Salvation Army always feeds people hot meals. When we had terrible storms in Dallas this year, Salvation Army set up meal service at our local recreation center for a week. Goodwill doesn’t do anything for anyone. You had a good haul today. Like the wreath holder. Could tall candlesticks become wreath holders? I wouldn’t paint the little dresser you bought. But that’s just me. I was raised with mahogany or cherry furniture and my uncle had an upholstery shop. Hope you’re enjoying the cooler weather. Finally in the 80’s in Dallas!
Those figurines are what my mother and I refer to as dust catchers. You guys did well with some intersecting items. I am looking forward to Saturday night!
The cast iron with holes is a vegetable steamer, I think, just boil water underneath it and put on a cover and your vegetables will be ready in a few minutes.
The Goodwill in California are so incredibly expensive at least in the Palmdale and Santa Clarita area. For small candlesticks it was 14.99 apiece. As far as I’m concerned, your Goodwill‘s are way cheaper than ours and I would be more than happy to have those prices here.
As full as that green wreath was you could've repositioned the leaves throughout. It was nice. I hear a little hoarseness in your voice, but I'm glad you're feeling better. 😊 I'm always looking for wildlife figurines here and they are so hard to find. Never pass on them, especially deer, turkey and geese.
Went to goodwill ...did get a new Nike hat and a cute sweatshirt...fall decor was very shabby...did score a big bag of cars and trucks for the grandkids for very little...had a friend who called decor goo gaas...lol
Goodwill stores have doubled their prices at ALL stores. I overheard a conversation between 2 employees who were saying it came from headquarters to increase prices. And so, except for the bins, I no longer shop there. :(
That explains it. It felt like it was over night. We’ll still go to find deals but we may be shopping there less because I’m not paying double. Lucky for us we still have DI
While you were out thrifting "on" Labor Day, I was gardening at my son's house in Lansing, MI! I told him about Odelia being assigned there for her mission. The people he bought his house from were Mormons. Not sure how he aquired that information, but who am I to question?! Hope she still likes it here! Wishing her the best!
Great haul guys. If you think your prices are expensive you should try here in Australia. Most thrift stores prices are dearer than going and buying new, it’s ridiculous. There are a couple of stores around that keep some good prices and a couple that I’ve been in when I’ve driven through somewhere and called in that have had good prices but it’s hit and miss with charity stores where I am and I refuse to pay new prices for 2nd hand goods that have been donated and it’s just lining someone’s pocket who gets paid plenty in the first place. It makes me a bit angry actually, especially 2hen I know what goes on higher up etc and what goes on with monetary donations. IMO they are just very, very greedy people.
the pewter man on the horse might be buffalo bill cody, something went in his hand. the way it is curved. could be an american flag as part of his wild west circus show
I live in California and the Vera Bradley bags are $13.99? up to $22.00 at my local Goodwill 😳 which is $5-$10 more than eBay is selling the same bag for 🤯
Jamie, I don’t think you are complaining and whining about the prices at the Goodwills now. I love your channel because you are teaching others how to thrift to make a profit. Goodwill has gotten outrageous! Also, did you know you can put your stained up Pampered Chef in your self cleaning oven and they come out like new!
I’m in Florida and prices are way too high here. I don’t usually find anything good at mine either. You all are really blessed with the variety you have in your stores. We don’t have Bins in my area either. 😢
Fyi the amber bottle at the beginning is from a brand of Kombucha currently sold at Whole foods and trader Joes . The anchor is their logo. Not old at all.
Jami, here in the UK, some of the charity shops now have outrageous prices - sometimes it's cheaper to buy new! Yet they are taking donations, because they are overrun with stuff! Doesn't occur to them to lower the prices and turn over more stock. I've been charity shopping for 50 years and in recent times it's became ludicrous. Many a time now I just put stuff back because it's too expensive, whereas before I would spend my money with them. They are cutting off their noses to spite their faces. What's best - sell one item at £10 or sell 3 or 4 items at £6 - NO BRAINER. Especially as they get all their stock free. It's just greed.
I have a few plates that match the small platter with the picture of the ladies you found in the 2nd store. They came from my great grandmother’s home. How would I find out how much they’re worth?
Yes high mostly but there are gems to be found. I dont shop frequently but more mission shops. I dont donate to them nor do I ever round up. They get enough of my money.
Jami, it’s doo-daD I think all of them could apply but Knickknack seems best. Yes, Goodwill has really raised their prices- for donated items!
I not only love your finds but the way you look at each with love and respect while the other is speaking!
The cast iron pan you cook your veggies on the bbq.
The round bakeware Zeb picked up-it's for making "Cake Pops" like a lollipop. You put a stick up inside them when they come out of the oven. Then when they are cool enough to work with, you put the icing on them.
Thanks for saving the copper horse!
Here in Arizona beginning August 1st, they are charging now for bags!
Their prices are going up exorbitantly already for stuff they get free!
I put my stained Pampered Chef pieces in the oven when I use the self cleaning function. Clean as new! Needs to be re-conditioned.
Yey thrifting Monday! Great finds - the hardware on the cabinet is very unusual.
Whoa, that giant corbel! Very nice and I"m sure you guys will paint it so nice and chippy!

The Pan with the round sections with the Hole in the top is For making cake pops :)
I know about the CEO not right. I have to say when I was unemployed I took classes at their training center FREE. Very helpful
Yes. GW is high priced everywhere!!
The washstand is adorable. The chamber pot goes behind the little door.
And the pitcher & bowl on the top.
The plate that you bought with the “coat of arms” on it is actually the crest for my college sorority - Kappa Kappa Gamma. It is one of the oldest in America, founded in 1870.
The lil hutch that you bought is so nice looks good just the way it is at least to me it dose love old style ! Definitely a keeper ❤
Thank you for rescuing the horse ❤

I love Tetris, and yes plenty of room left lol
I love the unpainted little dresser❤
Great finds 👍 I really like the cabinet !
LOVE the Copper Horse...
The cast-iron can be used on the grill for veggies.
I agree with the higher prices at GW as well as other thrift stores. Happy thrift shopping. 😊

Those are cute brass lights
That little cabinet for $18 was a bargain! I would've totally snagged that.
Zeb!!! Buy the ducks!!!!! 🦆
Items on top of the clothing racks- i call them dust collectors or here in Australia we say bric-a-brac.
Love you guys....super cute ❤
I actually saw a Twix mug at my Goodwill. LOL!!
That cast iron is for grilling shrimp or veggies! They work great I have never seen a cast iron one, I would have grabbed that at that price!!!
Love you guys! I hope you had nice family time this Holiday 😊
As full as that green wreath was you could've repositioned the leaves throughout. It was nice. Dust catcher is my name for it.😋
Such great treasures today, really great thrifting
The cast iron with holes is for grilling.
In England we call the ceramic ladies ornaments 👍🏻
Went to goodwill ...did get a new Nike hat and a cute sweatshirt...fall decor was very shabby...did score a big bag of cars and trucks for the grandkids for very little...had a friend who called decor goo gaas...lol
You guys are so darn cute!😊 Have a good week!

Ugh the prices 😩
But boy that was a fun one to watch 😘🙌🥳
Oh my, THAT HORSE❤❤❤
Love the freezer trick for all wax items, works great for tart warmers too!
My sister called knick knacks "dust collectors."
That is exactly what I was going to say! 😂
My mom donated her time to the assistance league. Those nice car's are probably the volunteers 😂
@@juliejems555 they were all so nice. And the store was pretty full.
@@JamiRayVintage At my local store there is someone that donates who is my size in clothing and shoes. She has great style. Bonus!!
We call some of those things "dust collectors"! Love your shows
Thrift stores in Middle Tn are ridiculously high! Ya’ll’s are cheap and that’s great!
Jamie, you are having an extra great hair day today!
Goodwill stores have doubled their prices at ALL stores. I overheard a conversation between 2 employees who were saying it came from headquarters to increase prices. And so, except for the bins, I no longer shop there. :(

Beautiful washstand! Love it.
They were always called Knick-Knacks when I was a kid
Love the cabinet! So many great items!
Here in Knoxville TN the prices have gone up as well. Sometimes twice as much as before.
While you were out thrifting "on" Labor Day, I was gardening at my son's house in Lansing, MI! I told him about Odelia being assigned there for her mission. The cardboard cups are probably potting cups for seeding.
I call them Knick Knacks!
Our goodwills in Montana are skyhigh but you can still find deals just not very often
I live in California and the Vera Bradley bags are $13.99? up to $22.00 at my local Goodwill 😳 which is $5-$10 more than eBay is selling the same bag for 🤯

What do we call those things? I call those dustcatchers LOL
The washstand is gorgeous as is!!!
Thanks!
The ceramic pieces of people were called figurines when I was growing up.
Goodwill prices in the Phoenix area are ridiculously high.
That's why I don't shop at goodwill were I live. They have awful high prices. Better off going to flea market down here
The terracotta dish that is glazed inside looks like the base for a tagine.
I am in Ohio, close to Cleveland. Good will prices are really high here to.😮
Oh my, I went everywhere last spring, trying to find a small 3-part gold frame for some portraits of my mother. They were nowhere to be found.
My word for decor items like that is “DC”…dust collectors! 😂
I’m in Florida and prices are way too high here. I don’t usually find anything good at mine either. You all are really blessed with the variety you have in your stores. We don’t have Bins in my area either. 😢
We have two bins in Sarasota County. They call them “Bargain Barns”. You should make a trip this direction for good thrifting here in FL ❤
@@AlwaysJoyus thanks for the info
Love it
Fyi the amber bottle at the beginning is from a brand of Kombucha currently sold at Whole foods and trader Joes . The anchor is their logo. Not old at all.
Also the kombucha new is about $3.50...can't believe charging 2 for the used bottle lol
I'm in Southern California and the prices at the Goodwill have really gone up. Sourcing is getting more challenging.
I have a cow creamer like that white one and it's pier one imports

Hi Jami and Jeb
Your shop looks so fun!! How did the prunes work for ya???.
They are always tasty. And help me to not be hangry until we eat lol
For Cast iron, what do you use for cleaning rust?
The brown bottle had kombucha in it.
I like to call them my treasures
I can't afford goodwill or savers. You can pick up stuff new for some of those prices
I have a few plates that match the small platter with the picture of the ladies you found in the 2nd store. They came from my great grandmother’s home. How would I find out how much they’re worth?
The pan with the holes are for cake pops
I also noticed that all of the pitchers have gone up to 5.99-7.99 here in SAN ANTONIO
Those duck baskets are vintage
Could that round glazed pie looking container be a tortilla warmer?
Just an fyi… the amber bottle at the beginning is from a kombucha brand
I don’t think the amber bottle was from anchor hocking
It’s a Kombucha bottle from the brand Health•Ade
Yes high mostly but there are gems to be found. I dont shop frequently but more mission shops. I dont donate to them nor do I ever round up. They get enough of my money.
our 4 Goodwills don't take furniture anymore ever since the pandemic . its weird.
Are they charging for the goodwill bags in your town?

Score on the miter saw!!
Yes those are the prices I have seen here forever. Plus they have no returns. So the electrical has to be suffering.
