Here is a great kitchen tip! I use a large plastic bowl where cuttings from veggies go and all wrappings and other used and empty stuff goes. (Empty tin cans and bags) Take it once at the end of food prep and dump it. Clean up is a breeeze. Instead of cluttered counter, peace! Rachael Ray taught me to do this and I have done it since!
I agree with your tips but the tv stand is a life saver - all wires and dvds get hidden and great for storage. Nightstands can house meds we need on hand, eye drops, napkins, creams etc.
❤love “lazy” hacks for anything‼️ to me, when I hear the term lazy… It equates to something simple and logical. In comment sections I’ve gotten so many hateful comments when people say oh you just need to do XYZ or it’s just not that hard and those people are simply not getting the point.‼️❤️🔆
I have a hanger rack resting behind my bedroom door. This allows me to take off clothes and store for another use. No one sees it but I know I can rewear clothes twice and save on laundry. !!!!🤪
I have a teeny tiny house, but we are empty nesters now. In fact, my husband built me a pantry in my water heater closet. Anyways, I appreciate these tips as they work well for me in this season of my life. (The fantasy clothing hit home hard!)
Remotes basket! I did this and love it. All remotes in living area go in here. It is a lovely wood basket that’s attractive and fits all the remotes. Perfect solution. Never search for a remote again. !
- We also cook a lot and preparing veggies is very time consuming. Solution for (at least) some dishes: buying frozen veggies. Still healthy - I hate to clean the kitchen after a good meal. So, I also do dishes while cooking. Great tip! - we have 3 laundry bags: for 30, 40, 60°C. Laundry is already separated before washing (sure, we then still separate fair/dark colors etc.) - use sock clamps: no need to sort socks after washing, single socks don't get lost. But use of a laundry net is mandatory! - every item in the household should have it's own place to be easily found (Some of these tips might not work so well with children or reluctant boyfriend)
We never wear shoes inside and I have a cabinet dedicated to shoes and two bowls for keys ❤ one for me and one for my husband and dog has her own big cabinet for her clothes and baskets of toys ❤ I wash the carpets every two months and I wash my dogs toys and fabric in the baskets weekly or every two weeks depends how much she has used them. It’s routine work but the result is amazing ❤ our home smells great no pet odor 🙏
I keep kitchen cleared all over, not just one space. It works. Use all the kitchen or just a little. Clean up before you leave. It is ALWAYS ready to go! Great way to live.
Great ideas for how to be more efficient! I added one of those toilet paper holders to the cart of my Walmart online order as I was listening. The washroom in the mancave needs some help. 😆
Hello and thank you! I'm so glad that I found your channel. My husband and I had just purchased our new home while still owning the previous one. The new house had been empty for 7 years and was dusty/dirty. Our old home was crammed with possessions. I wanted a change. I found that if cleaning is made to be harder but having too much clutter, then I would give up and stop cleaning entirely. I lived in this almost empty house for 6 weeks before my husband and loved how open it was. I began searching for cleaning and decluttering videos and found you! Super helpful! Can or did you ever link your soap bottle mats?
I've always put my dishwashing liquid into a pump dispenser just for efficient use, faster than tilting a squeeze bottle, and it comes out in a measured amount, so no over-use of the liquid. Now that I have arthritis in my hands it's even more efficient for me. I've got to look up those silicone trays/mats you use by your sink!
Oh yes, I love those mats - I linked them here if you want to check them out: amzn.to/3xEUk82 You can toss them right into the dishwasher (or even washing machine) to clean :)
I agree with you about your stuff…I currently have a big house, i need casual and dress clothes for my job, this makes for a large closet, but they’re separated…once I downsize i’ll downsize everything….but i see my mom in her independent living facility and she still dresses up…so I’ll probably always keep some dress clothes. I have an abundance of craft inventory, fabric for sewing, sewing notions…but it’s all organized and someday will also be donated…. If I’m not using something i like to donate so someone can make use of it.
You should set up each room as you function. Works really well. I set up my master bath and walk in closet according to how I get dressed for work in the morning. Saves alot of time. Even if I change my mind, about what I am wearing, all of my clothes and shoes are easily arranged. 😊 12:24
Goodmorning sweet Mary. Happy you had the blood pressure checked and they are taking care of that. I thought your blood sugar had dropped out. Each day brings its own challenges. One step at a time. God bless you. Becky from Arizona
Great tips, I do some that you have mentioned. As soon as you mentioned your clothing may not follow a lot of peoples idea of minimalism, it made me laugh because I don't own a lot of stuff, but i have a lot of books on my bookshelves 📚📚
I grew up in the tropics and we only wore things once because of perspiration. This has been the hardest habit to break! It took me decades before I was able to wear something twice. My rule now is if I didn’t spill anything on it and it still smells good; I can wear it again.
Make up supply must get organized brushes must get washed and keep dust free . And rotation keeps the less used item ready to get tossed out 😊 less is better . I never care about these influencers on social media . Do healthy ways of keeping your face and body beautiful ❤ also minimize decoration items hard to clean and dust when tons of tiny items are on the cabinet or countertops or surfaces in general
Hello I just recently started listening to your videos, I've already picked up some good ideas and habits to implement. Question for you I noticed barefoot on your kitchen floor so my question is how do you keep from getting foot marks on your laminate floors? I find it almost impossible and I have all laminate floors in my home.
@@tarynmaria_ that could be the difference, in our community development other people have asked the same. I called out floor manufacturer for laminate hardware and their answer was mop with a neutral ph. I do and dust almost daily and wear slippers or socks.

I clean up while I cook! I agree it works. I use something, I put it away. I make a mess, I clean it up. My dinner is done and my kitchen is clean.
Love that!
I love doing laundry!!

Yes!!! Rachel Ray’s garbage bowl, I love it!
I have the towel bar and hooks. I feel like the towels get drier on the bar, and more quickly
True - they definitely dry faster on the bar!
Your tips are more environmentally friendly then many other sites. Thank you. ✌️💜✌️
I agree with your tips but the tv stand is a life saver - all wires and dvds get hidden and great for storage. Nightstands can house meds we need on hand, eye drops, napkins, creams etc.
For sure!! 😊
I wouldn’t say it’s ‘lazy’ to keep the items you constantly use at hand ,it’s called Common Sense .

I'm right there with you on the less laundry and do it myself. Especially jeans.
Totally!
I tried one of your favorite products and that is the Lemishine disposal cleaner. Worked great!
Yay that’s awesome!!
I love this disposal cleaner.
That basil pesto from Wegmans is great! I have used that with pasta and grated Parmesan to make a side dish.
Love that you recognized the pesto, I agree - it's so good!

You can use colors that don't suit in places like pants, shoes, bags. I can't wear gray tops, but gray pants are fine.
Thank you!
I keep a mess bag on a hook in my laundry room, dirty socks go in the bag, zip and wash
Great idea!
Washing things when they are not dirty also makes clothes last less. And its not really enviromental. And you'll need more clothes.
Drying yourself with a hand towel and THEN use your big towel for comfort and dampness. This keeps your big towel fresh and less washing.
I may have missed it, please share where you purchased the decanters on your kitchen sink.
So sorry! These are them :) amzn.to/3vwcYi0
