We are learning in the school of heard knocks first, to fully understand why we must depend on the LORD! It was all part of the LORD’s plan, and we my be tempted to blame God for all of our mistakes, but we are wise to understand that the LORD is shaping us into his image. To emulate Christ is what we must strive for at every moment. No one surprised the LORD, by throwing a wrench in the machinery of his plans! Our Creator is not the naïve one, we are.

@@O_tropos I do not know exactly what the lake of fire will do to the soul, but I do not want to find out. If only a very select few had that horrible destiny, & everyone else has a choice, it wouldn’t be so frighting, but few find that narrow road to everlasting life, few build on the rock mass and no one knows what their final Judgment will be (not even St Paul knew). We choose between the blessing or the cursing, but few make the right choice. It is frighting, and can be depressing to even think about. Prayer for the Holy Spirit, Scripture study, along with a balanced obedience to Christ is the only comfort I have found in this. Jesus says The harvest is great, so that is comforting too. The message I have shared here is not going to be digestible for a baby in Christ. This is meat, not milk.

@@stevepierce6467 Hi, Steve! It's not that God made us bad, but we corrupted ourselves and brought death by choosing to eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil which God forbid. God saves us from this corrupt and dead self and leads us to choose to eat from the tree of Life, God Himself. It's a wonderful thing that He created us in His image with free will.

Belief in the supernatural can also be many things, but until it can be independently verified, it still cannot be called Truth. Don't know about anyone else, but this seems to be real 'Gospel' of God coming to save His people from themselves and their 'City' or 'Kingdom', in the story of Israel and the World. If only the our forefathers or 'churches' had seen this before, but I believe it was to be ordained to 'see' this at the 'right' time. May we see this in all the world in the coming years!!

The 'outstretched arm' sounds like a foreshadowing of Jesus's death on the cross. His arms stretched out on the horizontal part of the cross depicting God's love for us in that he died on the cross to redeem us.

The man looked up and said, “I can see the people, but they look like trees walking around.” :) The garden is a "parable". A teaching tool. That the care and knowledge and understanding needed to nurture, support and grow fruitful plants - is also needed when we look to nurture and grow fruitful people. Our children, our families, communities our work place and the employees who work under us. They should be viewed in the same way. As young trees in the garden that we may need to put more into then we get out initially - but eventually with patience, with kindness and diligence they will also become fruitful and bear a crop. Some 30 fold. Some 60. Some 100.
For it is written in the Law of Moses, “You shall not muzzle an ox while it is treading out the grain [to keep it from eating the grain].
Don’t exhaust the ox. Let the ox run its pace. I feel it’s about resources, and how to not force a natural progression of things.

We need to rule like Jesus came to show us. Not to rule over creation like you interpret Genesis. Instead we need to follow Jesus and we are here not to rule, not to tame, or subdue... We are here to serve. Serve all of creation. That's is all and the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand.

I think it’s hard to take in because of our modern interpretation of those words. They do sound harsh. But when you think in the context of how God take chaos and raw potential of the world and orders it into a function world where humans can live and thrive, yes we should subdue that chaos and turn into a healthy place that honors creation. God never is okay with the abuse of his creation (ie nature) but he does want us to take it in a positive direction on His behalf.
Though often neglected, one of the earliest references (prior even to Exodus) to the notion of God's kingdom appears in Genesis 17:6: "I will make you [Abraham] exceedingly fruitful, and I will make you into nations, and *kings* will come from you."
These words point backward and forward. Of course, they echo God's first command to Adam, "Be fruitful and multiply and fill the earth and subdue it, and have dominion over ... every living thing" (Gen 1:28), such that God's original plan is carried forward in Abraham. Matthew picks up the motif of a dynasty from Abraham's descendants by starting his genealogy (1:2) with events which take place in Genesis 17.

12:47 the good news-the complete good news is god's plan to have us dwelling with him in eternity and that plan includes jesus to get us into that direction because we all head for the other direction. first, he had to give his life in our stead (redemption), then we live our lives according to how he showed us-loving our god and humanity (sanctification).

All Kings and kingdoms have heralds and a king never goes anywhere without first being announced. So in the conduct of a King, Jesus sends John the baptizer as his herald to prepare the way of the Lord. As do the prophets announcing the heart and purpose of the king. Bearers of good news, change your mind and conduct for the kingdom of Heaven has arrived.

King of kings , Lord of lords. Jesus, the man who is God will judge mankind. For this is fair, for he was tempted in all ways as we are. The sinless man Song of God the Lamb of God.
Those that are in Christ will return to the original purpose and plan of God even if God has to remake the world, of course we must first rule on this Earth now within our selves and our scope of influence and then in the Millennium.
The Millenium will be the full restoration to what we lost. we will see exactly how it was to be played out.
Then After 1000 years Satan will be set free once more to deceive the nation's and then they will be judged.
Then the final destiny The new Earth and Heaven's where we will be with God and productive.
Heaven will come to Earth not the other way around.
Desiring Heaven and religion can be dangerous.
Desiring what God wants for us is better. we will receive our inheritance in full.
we will have new Spiritual bodies. we will be useful. serving our Lord. Praise God for such an exciting wonderful plan for us. God is good.
Action item: GO and make a disciple (Matthew 28:19-20 Great Commission). GO and fish for people (Matthew 4:19 Follow Jesus and He will make you a fisher of men.)

Isn’t Jesus message that it is now available? Isn’t that different from it being not here but now it is here?
I saw the title of this, and I'm hoping to accurately understand what Co-ruling is, as Jesus and I aren't co-workers, but rather, Jesus my rabbi, my father, my mentor, as the WORD in flesh he's my creator. The word wouldn't be co-ruling but the word would be we are his bondservants. We're reigning but as his children grafted into his family sharing the flesh with the Son. The head tells us what to do.

God is the owner of the Earth. But he gave management of his world to humans.we forfeitted our rulership by not ruling in partnership with God.

To me the Power of Resurrection Life come by realizing the Kingdom IS come because the Master Ruler Jesus Is Alive Here and Now by Way of His Mind and Spirit Living in Me. If I have been given the Mind and Spirit of Jesus Christ what does that make me? Answer = A reincarnation of Jesus because His Holy Spirit Dwells in Me and empowers me for Daily Living. The Only reason a Person is a Saint which Means Holy One Is Because of God's Holy Spirit abiding in them as a Subordinate soul spirit who has presented them self as a Living Sacrifice even as THE SON of God DID to the FATHER Most High. We are free to Love One Another because He First Love's Us. The One word that describe LOVE is Sacrifice and if you are not willing to Sacrifice then you are not a Subordinate Follower of the Universal King Ruler. Christians are impotent in daily life because they do not confess Jesus Christ IS come in the Flesh meaning Their Flesh by Way of the Christ Anointing Spirit of Promise. To confirm Read 1st John 4:1-6 and Note the words IS COME 9 times in 6 verses to emphasize the point. The phrase Anti Christ is Found only 5 times and each are in 1st & 2nd John and has reference to any one who does not confess that the Christ Anointing has come upon and into them is a Anti Christ by Choice. Yes the Ruler of the Universe is coming again but the Next Time as King Ruler of the Universe and His Resurrected Saints along side Him to Rule ALL of Creation. No Earth, No Physical body, No Sorrow and No Death the completion of Salvation that takes place when we depart the Human Physical Body of Corruption; the complete Resurrection with a New SPIRIT Body. Being A Subordinate Son of God Under the Loving Kindness of THE SON of GOD is how Life is meant to Lived . Not I am LORD but Here am I Under the LORD of Creation. To Be Are Not To Be Is The Question? The Kingdom of God was Jesus's main message, we are saved from Sin so we can receive the Holy Spirit and be fully reconnected to God. This allows us to rule and reign with God here on earth.
Salvation is not to save us from Hell but Sin and separation from God.

I have a question for u guys because I'm curious. There are enough nuclear bombs to destroy the earth and all of them are in human hands, does that mean that God is not in control? or does he like control the people who are in control of the bombs? or is he simply above the bombs and the people? This question is kinda uncomorfting to me tbh.
We are made in the image of God, even as imagination is used to envision within what is created externally. Before there was an express image of God in Jesus Christ. Even as the Spirit of God imagined himself creating a family, bc it's not good for a loving Father to be alone (even as to imagine another world than that as purposed by God is blasphemy against his Holy Spirit). Even as the first images of God, the angels, are spoken of as sons of God; however figuratively, are of a direct creation and appointment. Verses the process that we are in, becoming the children of God thru being born-again into his transformation, as his express image. Even as the imagination of his "perfected son" Lucifer saw himself as worthy of being like God; who was even over the glory and worship of God. Who wanted glory and worship for himself....That is the danger of this creation, of what God has opened up, in the knowledge and sharing of his person at this human level, even more so at the angelic level. Where a fallen angel was allowed to corrupt more creation. So as a sovereign God in charge of his created universe, be is responsible for the downfall of it; even as he has imagined the final result and purpose of his managing of His garden. So to speak of this world, first we need to remember that the "kingdom of heaven" was first under attack by an image bearer who was allowed to know of his own power in creation, in his eyes. Then the enemy of God was created as a result of that power struggle; that selfishness of I AM the creator, the boss, the ruler. It's a matter of submission to the Mighty God, and greatest. Selfishness of the adversary, the subordinate, the middle management of the angels. And this before the Spirit of God moved upon the waters of the deep, where darkness had been. Where He created Light, and called it day and night. The beginning of our world from the darkness and sin of the fall from heaven's kingdom. So to speak of the Kingdom of God, the image of God, or the children of God, is to speak of the enemy of God and man, Satan. As he is also spoken of from the first to last books of the Bible, for the purposes of God. A powerful angelic like being who handley deceived the youngsters...And as the parable of the "prodigal son" is about a man and his two sons, the fall of creation is about God, the devil and humanity. Not just what "we" have decided for ourselves, as created clay vessels. Even as I did not separate myself from God, at birth, with a curse; but his predestination makes me what I have become in total. So it is the same for origin, even though my freewill continued in carnal sin, as have all of the generations, until the Spirit blessed me and the curse of separation was lifted. That I could have the kingdom of God in my life. He asks us to choose, repent, in changing our kingdoms, not to own the result of his plan. That is vanity; the only knowledge that we have is from him, about him, and for him; it's not about us...As it was in the beginning, so shall it be in the end. Children of the living God.

11;13 yes. we need to restore the image of god in us. just like a car needs restoration for becoming broken due to being filled with diesel when it was produced to run on gasoline. we are filling our minds with worldly thinking instead of godly thinking. that is why we are to have metanoia, change of mind from worldly to godly thinking. then we can function according to how god created us and for what purpose he created us.
I believe God was against them having a king was because he was wanting them to choose him as King. I believe those are other reasons he displayed his power so much. When it came to pick a king, the choose an earthly king.
So God became man. We’ll have a human king for 1,000 years. Of course this resurrected human king is none other than Jesus himself. In his full glory!

It is official what is written in Romans 3:19 confirms what Jesus Christ came to get done which is call sinners to repentance.
Believers are to manifest God's glory on earth, did they? They received the light, did they put it under the bushel? Being a hearer of the Word, not being a doer? Not living a biblical life? Instead, living a cultural life or the life of the world?
How did we go from the promise of a new Kingdom coming to Earth, and the pessimistic Gospel held by most Western Christians over the last 150 years?

The separation of body and soul at death is the most unnatural state a human could ever encounter. John 1:14 and 1 John 1:1 were specifically written to counter the Gnostic claims about Jesus.

Edit : we don't deny that we're sinners. Nor that we sometimes choose or fall victim of being under the "rule" of fallen angelic powers. That's how we can accept our Shadow self while not falling victim to its lies.
Denying that we're capable of that Evil or even worse Evil, only puts us in more danger of being controlled by those tendencies AND lose our chances to repent in the technical sense (ie. Change our attitudes/phronema/actions...etc) thus falling in the pendulum swing of either being fully controlled by our Shadow or fully controlled by our tyrannical Ego. And confusing ourselves with God in both cases.

Yes indeed Israel / the church are gardeners. This is the primary vocation of all who are called by the Lord :) But we must "see" in scripture trees ..... are people :) Mark 8:23 "So Jesus took the blind man by the hand and led him out of the village. Then He spit on the man’s eyes and placed His hands on him. “Can you see anything?” He asked. The man looked up and said, “I can see the people, but they look like trees walking around.” :)
The garden and the gardener is a "parable". A teaching tool. That the care, knowledge, protection and understanding needed to nurture, support and grow fruitful plants - is also needed when we look to nurture and grow fruitful people. We don't just plant and walk away. Or plant and hope for the best. To plant means to plow the hard ground. To remove the rocks and debris. To fertilize the field. Like Elisha plowing the field with 12 yoke of Oxen. Then with the help of the master to come and spread and plant the seeds. His word. To come and water it day after day - consistently. Even before the green shoots begin to show - to know the sower of the seeds is faithful. Once they emerge to shield and protect the tender shoots from predators and the elements. To remove the weeds that sprout up around them to strangle them. This is our role - for our children, our homes and families, our communities our workplace and the employees who work with us, under us and even over us. For the lost and broken in our areas.
We are both the garden - and the gardener - and we work for the master gardener. The vinedresser. There are trees in the garden that we may need to put more into then we get out initially - but eventually with patience, with kindness and diligence they will also become fruitful and bear a crop. Some 30 fold. Some 60. Some 100. And once we have become proficient in our little garden we may be called by the master to move to a new community and plant a new garden in places that are far off. In places that may be dry and barren lands where their is "famine". Because we have learnt in our toils in our home garden and our community garden how to find water in dry places. How to bring nutrients out of barren soil. How to negotiate the heat and the cold. The flood and the famine. How to bring life - where once there was only death. To now follow in the saviors footsteps. :) To become a way in the wilderness - bringing rivers in the deserts :)
The question is who or where is Israel/ His Church ? His garden is where ever "his seed" is planted and grows. Those who hear and apply his "Word". By their fruits you will recognize them.

I have always struggled greatly with this topic and presumed future eternity. I have absolutely "zero" interest in co-ruling anything or being within a royal priesthood of such. That may attract today's Christian middle class bulk always wanting more then they need and entitled young trendy new age believer that think they are so much more special then previous generations however this old Christian career army man now retired, well thanks but no thanks. That's your after-life not mine. I served in life and I will serve in my after-life as well. I serve "period" as a lowly citizen soldier type. I wish to serve in heaven (or earthly paradise 1,000 years also before the white throne judgement) as a pure and simple citizen of Christs eternal kingdom not some co-monarch or big shot clergy type. Serving is ruling in God’s kingdom. Each of us will have various responsibilities. None of us will rule in the sense you’re thinking of. No big shots, no elites, no extravagance at the expense of others. I think it’s important to remember that the same notions and memories things have now won’t be the same as you see them either. You’ll view the more luxurious parts of the kingdom as gifts from God, not pompous status symbols, and this time God himself will have chosen those who are faithful, righteous, worthy so it isn’t the same as some corrupt person waving their riches around and being a jerk. There will be no need for soldiers but no doubt some position will be the right one for you.

You’re forgetting a very big part of the story to you and your audiences detriment. We are still under the dominion of The accuser (Luke 4:5-7). We cannot enter into the kingdom of Jesus Christ until after the days of Tribulation (Matthew 24; all of it).

The narritive that Tim creates about humans being gardeners does not align with rev 22:1-5.
Verse 2: ....the leaves of the tree where for HEALING of the NATIONS. If you need healing that means you dont live for ever also it means that you can get sick otherwise why would there be healing?
Verse 5:... they will rule as KINGS. Kings dont rule like gardeners, they rule over people.
So this gardening narritive is not a correct view. Tim needs to address those verses that seems to suggest other things.
