Campag so is worth it something even if its badly designed. This Isn't and a trick piece of chain hanger old school kit . Can have a wee peg on the frame if having a paint job , if you can't do that wanting too keep your paintwork perfect guess its an option . Good presentation as always.
I have a chromed Campagnolo dropout with Portacatena mount holes as my key ring. It's from a beautiful bike I destroyed in a huge crash while a bike messenger(21 years)many years ago. The Nuovo Record road bike I recently purchased to amble stylishly about on in old age has them too. Yes, I did know what they're for. An old mechanic, older than even I, told me, and showed me way back when.
Very common on older bikes to have a brazed on chain holder pin on the drive side seatstay, guess not very common on race bikes, didn't know Campag made a dropout chain retainer. That is nice. Fit Campag dropouts only?
Do you have any experience with the primitive Campy “derailleur” from the 1940’s called I believe “Paris Roubaix” ?. He was on the right track towards the modern derailleur but far away at the same time.
I wasn’t even aware of it until a few days ago, so probably rare and expensive. There’s a few clips here on RUclips of it in action. I couldn’t imagine doing a race like a Tour de France with a fixed gear or limited gear option bike 😳.
thank you for sharing such an interesting peace of Campagnolo cycling history, great video!
Thank you for watching!

Stejný postřeh jsem měl ve videu o GIOSu , prostě je víc času užít si jízdu když nemusíš pořád řadit...Děkuji za sledování videa.
Thank you for sharing.
Thanks for watching!
nice video THANKS
Thank you for the support.
I never knew! Very interesting. Amazing bike too!
It's been a secret to me for a long time. Thank you for watching.
Excellent!!!!
Thank you very much!
So this is the most catchy tweak I've ever seen on a bike ...
Tak určitě... Děkuji Kubo!
Fantástica esa pieza
Muchas gracias

Fit Campag dropouts only?
Yes it fits only Campa dropouts from this era. The pin on seatstay is a little bit younger and you have to put the chain on manually.
Thanks, I learnt something new today as well, very interesting 👍🏼
You're welcome, thanks for watching!
I was wondering how it cleared the top cog. You answered my question right at the end! Great video and a beautiful bike :-)
Thank you, merry Christmas to you!
Not clear on what the purpose of it is.
Many thanks for all the amazing videos you put together!
It's for simple, fast rear wheel replacement , no problems with chain and rear derailleur
Thank you for watching.
I’ve never seen this device before and I’m almost 60.
Don't be sad, I also didn't know for a long time what the holes on the frame dropout are for. Thank you for watching.

@@trappenweisseguy27 I don't have experience with this, it hasn't gotten into my hands yet. I think bikes with this shift are very expensive.

How much is a bike like this?
Thanks for watching! 1000-1500 Euro?
@@OnRoadVintageBikes in Brazilian currency it is R$ 9200.00. Thanks for answering and I really like retro bikes. Congratulations on the videos.
@@luisfernandocaetano1 Thank you friend!
What is the point of writing the description in English and then speaking in Czech?
