    Can you help us determine what is the flat tool at the end of the video?
    Pokud víte napíšete nám, k čemu slouží plochý nástroj z konce videa?

      I would think it would be used to set/level the brake levers. But hey your use of it to prop/keep the box open works too haha.

    Oh this takes me back to a blissful time. I could work in a bike shop for five weeks and buy a high-end bike. Now (adjusted for inflation) I would need to work thirty weeks to buy a high-end bike.
    Wish I had photos of the second bike shop where I worked. It was like an alpen hut. T&G floors, beams connecting the three A-frames, cedar walls. You just felt good being there.

    Hi loved the video a truly inspired idea. The mystery flat tool is listed by Campagnolo as " Straight edge for the alignment of the rudder pedals" Item G . So I think they must mean for checking mutual crank arm alignment. Personally I think it's for stirring the coffee 😂. Enjoyed it so much watched it twice back to back.

    Hello, how long is the distance between the two holes from your unknown tool? I think this could help. Something for the wheels for centering or similar.
    Thank your this beautiful video from the Campagnolo tools!

    Very nice video, thank you:)
    This Campy tool case is the second version. It's missing the spacing spring for the headset tool and the saddle spanner(since leather saddles with spanning mechanism vanished in the late 70s). The straight edge is used for the alignment of the rear triangle. But also for the breakleaver position. Hope I could clarify this:)

    • @kevinfrost1579
      @kevinfrost1579 3 года назад +1

      Hi Adreus instinctively think your explanation is the best despite listed by Campagnolo as " Straight edge for the alignment of the rudder pedals" Item G . In 'Campagnolo speak' appears rudder = handlebars and pedals = brake levers. Don't you just love it ? 😳

    • @adreus4759
      @adreus4759 3 года назад

      @@kevinfrost1579 with pedal rudder they mean the alignment of the BB Shell with the rear triangle of the frame. Translation in those days has been quite diffrent...^^

      Its a straight edge. You can use it to check position, parallelism, flatness of anything. Yes that is the second generation of tool kit. The first also had wood divider between tools. Great video. Passion knows no boundaries!

    Hey! I was just wondering if there is a reason for taping the ends of the headset wrenches, or why they are taped up? Is it to reduce friction between the tool & the bolt when tightening / loosening?
    Thanks, and thanks so much for the informative video!

      I have it taped, because the aluminum nuts can otherwise rub off, get crushed. Thank you for your support.

    Quando gli attrezzi italiani erano costruiti per durare nel tempo, purtroppo oggi non esiste più niente come quelli. Campagnolo è morta per sempre, costruisce gruppi unicamente in carbonio, quando invece avrebbe dovuto proseguire a costruire pezzi di gioielleria come ha fatto sempre. Saluti dall'Italia
