Rammstein (German pronunciation: [ˈʁamʃtaɪn], lit. "ramming stone") is a German Neue Deutsche Härte band formed in Berlin in 1994. The band's lineup-consisting of lead vocalist Till Lindemann, lead guitarist Richard Kruspe, rhythm guitarist Paul Landers, bassist Oliver Riedel, drummer Christoph Schneider, and keyboardist Christian "Flake" Lorenz-has remained unchanged throughout their history, along with their approach to songwriting, which consists of Lindemann writing and singing the lyrics over instrumental pieces the rest of the band has completed beforehand. Prior to their formation, some members were associated with the punk rock acts Feeling B and First Arsch.

You did really well. It is something else.
Love how demanding they are in their given right of free expression of art and and thought provoking. The translated lyrics don't pay up, but that's because especially german is known for mind- picture- creations, or ambiguous words. But you get, what it is about. And that's what's important.
A lot of reactors across the pond are super uncomfortable with this performance which explains in a way, why Till (lead singer) and Flake (keyboard) got arrested in the US for it. Up until today they have to jump through some hoops in order to enter the US.
Regarding your last remark, no they don't perform this song live anymore which is unfortunate or should I say surprising, because especially those who demand tolerance would clutch their pearls and start screaming. Funny times, we live.

You can translate many of Rammstein's lyrics
because there are many ambiguous words used that only we Germans understand
and you can't translate that best example is the song You have (You Hate) sound pretty much the same in German.

good to see you back on Rammstein, take it you know the story behind this of Till and Flake getting banged up in the slammer for 6 hrs 'cos the Mayor's daughter went to the concert and dear old hic Dad overheard his little Girl telling her mates what the boys got up to in 'Buck Dick' and rang his mate the Police Chief, aint curruption grand? lol, this was in America in case you though it was in France, they still cant perform it to this day in the states and no, its been off the live set for a while now and even 'Pussy' and 'Furlhing in Paris'' were dropped, probably 'cos of legal advice, hope they make a come back like 'Rammlied'

I laughed like hell first few times I watched Buch Dich. But then I thought maybe the person had no choice, if he doesn't submit to this humiliation something way worse will happen. Maybe I read too much into it. But it seems to me that in some Rammstein songs there's another side just as real, but not so brightly lit.
