Folks.. you need to understand that Cake flour slightly differs from all-purpose flour. In order to have the amount required ready .. you add 2 tbps cornstarch to every cup of flour the recipe calls for taking out same amount of regular flour in your measuring cup.. then sift it 4-6 times. If you use just flour for baking cakes the result will be too dry cakes more like cornbread. Why cornstarch? Because it creates a soft cske texture by inhibiting gluten development. 😊

Hi,cake flour is more delicate than all purpose flour. can try to make, for every 1 cup of all purpose flour remove 2 Tbsp of flour,and replace 2 Tbsp of that with cornstarch
You can use 1 tablespoon of ground flaxseeds mixed with 3 tablespoons of water, let mixture sit after stirring and it will become gloopy (coagulate), simply add this to your recipe in place of an egg to help bind ingredients. For 2 eggs simply double this quantity. Btw you can also use ground China seeds in the same way.
@@mizans3655 Milk is not a bad idea instead of more butter since butter has that flavor that might block the citrusy flavor or tang of orange. Besides if substituting 2 tbps of flour with cornstarch for each cup a certain recipe calls for will result into having a soft cake texture. Yogurt us not bad too.. many do not wish to mix dairy products (except for butter of course) with citrusy fruits tho. 😁 You know in making Lasagna we add more butter to lower citrusy of tomatoes so that's where I derived the opinion from. Not really a kitchen whizz just .. a kitchen cat. 😅
We have small oranges in our place. If i add just few oranges then iam not getting the flavour. And if add many oranges then the batter is too thin. What to do?
