i read once about how we go through cycles just like the earth---it seems like you're embracing the natural changing of the seasons by slowing down and finding stillness in the winter. you've accumulated heat working all year long and now you can use it to keep you warm through the darker, slower, quieter times of winter. love you and thank you, I always look to your videos for some peace of mind

So since you moved to NYC, do you feel that NYC daily living or LA daily living is easier? I’ve lived in Manhattan and also had it have a car for my job and it was such a difficult adjustment for daily living. I didn’t live in a building with laundry so I had to go to a laundromat and I also had a 30 minute train ride to pick up my car. I’m back in Cincinnati and life is just so much easier in my opinion. But compared to LA, I’m curious. Also, I’d love to see a video of why you prefer NYC to LA! Seems like a great comparison video for your channel! Love you 😘

Shannily Poinsettias are only mildly toxic to dogs & cats, they may cause vomiting or diarrhea at the very most! I’m sure she keeps plants away from him though ❤️

I really love your calm energy and what you're saying. Have been following you for YEARS now (just checked and definitely watched that vlogmas 5 years ago, so probably even longer than that? 😳) and it's just amazing to see you grow and get wiser and just the energy that you bring about. I feel like it has changed a bit over the years but in a good way, we're all growing and can share what we learn along the way. I'm feeling especially inspired by what you said about planning well to take time off and I'm definitely that person that would feel like that must mean something wrong, but this year i'm working on embracing those moments and planning time off and switching off in general.

Geri V I believe they are only toxic if ingested, right? So long as it’s kept out of their snacking territory they should be ok. We’ve never had poinsettias since our lab will eat literal dirt off the ground... but maybe one day 😂😂
