  • This video request comes from a stay-at-home piano student that began practicing the sonata but is unable to see his teacher at the present time and asked if I could record it for him.
As 2020 the 250th anniversary of Beethoven's birth I aim to record all 32 piano sonatas before the end of the year. Beethoven 32 Piano Sonata Playlist (+ additional works - in Progress) • Beethoven

This is probably a re-upload? Love this sonata and listened to it already earlier today :)

The part from 6:16 to 6:18 is still in the key of g minor and so the b's should be b flats. No hate though, I love what you do here on the channel Paul, just thought that I'd mention it cause it stood out to me.

@@eintroll8792 I don't have perfect pitch I've just briefly played this sonata before and so I could tell by listening to it.

In the beginning some notes are very similar to the first notes of Mozart's Lacrimosa

Never done this before looked at the notes and listened to them being played . I didn’t get it at first but then I could see and hear going up then down. It looked like waves and sounded like waves. Then it was flipped, the notes being played on the top were on the bottom and vice versa then flipped back. I lost my place when it started going fast. It was fun in this covid19 infested world.

Hi Paul! Fantastic playing! I was wondering if you could record Beethoven's Sonata 16, I'm practicing it for college auditions in December. Cheers, Noah
