These cuddlefish are absolutely gorgeous! Thanks for making this video! I was curious as to how they catch their prey. I didn't know they had 2 tentacles they grab it up with. I thought they just had the 8 arms! :)

But even if the fish is temporarily hypnotized, it should reach a point where it realizes that it's being eaten by something and then its tail should be at least flinching a little bit. In contrary, the fish looked completely calm and paralyzed. I have done some searching about it, some say that the cuttlefish is instantaneously discharging a certain amount of paralyzing venom in its prey through its tentacle limbs. I think I was too concern about it ... but it was really an unusual behavior. thank you for your positive participation anyway.
