Sometimes, when we are going through our storms, we don't see the reasons, but Shiela has ministered to me in so many ways. Her feelings, her thoughts, etc. at the time of the storm is the same struggles that I have been going through..it is helping me alot. Thank you Holy Spirit.
😭😭 You are always spot on. It’s like you are in my mind and emotions. I have been in this process for what feels like too long for me and there has been times were I have felt oh we are getting close to restoration and boom he disappears or gets distant again. This has left me feeling like someone is dangling it in front of my face and then says nope never mind. 😭

Sheila, your Ministry in this storm is priceless. You verbalize exactly what I'm experiencing because you actually walked there too. Like repeating to yourself, "It's not about you." It's true! It's a painful, on your knees crawl some days. Our spouses really are lost and blind. Who knows our true role in this mess but God. Maybe we're a conduit for Grace, maybe a buffer against worse darkness. Maybe the soul getting saved is even ourselves. God's Mind is not ours and I struggle against trying to understand. Yes been going through this and struggling why and haven't gotten answers.
The "not about you" is a hard lesson because there is a lot of about you that we have to learn and understand, but then there is that taking it personal that interferes and creates distraction.

I’ve been in a standing battle praying for my marriage and my husbands heart for years. He returned home after a 3 year separation and I thought it was answered prayers from being faithful in my prayers. Now, he’s talking about leaving AGAIN. I can’t believe this storm would even come again.
I am so very sorry to hear this. I understand this very well. I had a very long "eye' of the storm too and could not believe it when he turned back to his sinful ways, BUT God had warned me the whole time it was quiet that he never turned and repented and this was not a restoration. I didn't want to listen or believe it. Search our channel for false starts. It explains a lot. If your spouse doesn't get his heart right with God, this will keep happening because he is vulnerable and easily persuaded to sin. He must repent and put God first in his life.
@@MarriageRevealedMinistries yes I am realizing that, but now I’m confused on my prayers and whether I should start praying to let go and realize we aren’t equally yoked. Or do as I have done for years and pray for his relationship with the Lord and to be able to be the head of our household. It’s a lot and my kids have no idea he’s about to head back out the door again after feeling as though even their young heart prayers have been answered as well

Precious Sheila thankyou for this timely message ive had a week of gut wreching fear but Im learning about surrendering. Ive been through a range of emotions and watching our severely autistic son suffer without his dad being at home but God told to zip my lips and let him work on my husband. Press into knowing His love for you, that is what will DRIVE away those fears. Fear can't stand up to the love that God has for you, it will go.......but YOU have to know that love, embrace, accept, and live IN it.

I didn’t get your teaching after watching the 1st video, but OMG 😱 ! When you used fighting (standing) for a lost child as the way we should be STANDING for my lost spouse, NOT “my marriage” 100000 light bulbs went off. Now I can stand. I get it.

If someone has never told themselves No or denied themselves for 38 years, and only surrounds themselves with enablers and like minded people- I wonder what the impetus is. If he won’t let Christ in, and his lifestyle quenches Holy Spirit, I don’t know where God can work in him. I will continue to stand but one month has felt like forever, and the idea of suffering for years…😮 Finding peace in God’s word lately thank you God. Getting out of His way more and more with each opportunity and day.

When i open the Bible it only shows me restoration scriptures. Recently 2 days back i got the genesis 20.7 restore the man's wife back to him if not you shall die. It's been more than 6 months situation isn't changing but God has been showing me marriage restoration in the bible. Does it show the will of God? That he wants to restore my marriage which is on the verge of annulment in court.
My mother in law has given my husband full support to divorce me... But God shows me restoration so is it that God is telling me no matter what he is going to restore? I don't want to go to court n fight the case as the battle is Gods this is my decision
The thing I'm struggling with is that my spouse that I'm standing for is keeping me from talking to my children (we are in different states) and it's taking a toll on me. I have asked God for direction but have not got it yet.
That would be very very hard. I have seen testimonies of this happening and being turned around for the Stander, to where they even get custody of the children. It's not over. Keep pressing into God and let Him advocate for you and lead you in the direction to go. My prayers are with you.

I need prayer please, anyone. I am reaching out. I. Been married 17 years and my husband left. I asked him to leave and I shouldn't have but he was threatening to kill himself and he's been doing this for months.
I didn't know what to do so I opened my mouth. I am broken. I am trying to learn to let go and let god.I keep messaging my husband because that's what I do.
I need to stop texting my husband and start praying. My husband went next door to his friends house and today before work he messaged me he was going to kill himself and he loves me and the kids but he wants to die.
He did attempt to kill himself once. He stabbed himself with a butcher knife over and over and almost died. He lived by a miracle and we got married and had four children.
The sad thing is I know my husband loves me he just got to comfortable at the neighbors house where he works and he has been there for two nights. I am at work right now and trying to find something to give me some kind of direction because I'm lost.
I am worried my husband may go back to drugs and my kids don't need to know that this ever happened.
A friend of my husband's has been messaging me asking if I want to have an affair and I am very tempted. I feel like my husband walked out on me so why not? Why not move on and show him what happens when you leave. I know it's wrong though but if your husband walks out on you are you even still married?

How do you know if God wants you to stand?
If it was your child, they didn't know God, have the fear of the Lord or love Him above all else, and got snared in the trap of the enemy, would you ask God if He wanted you to stand in the gap for them to turn from darkness to light? To know His love, and His purpose and their identity in Him? Of course you would stand for a child, friends, family. But we ask this about our spouse because we make it very personal, and its true, there is no relationship out there more personal than marriage, than husband and wife. But your spouse is a lost son before a lost husband. Always put God's relationship first, above marriage, and ALL else, all your questions will be answered. Watch my video on discovery. I would stand. It’s just my husband divorced me and is living with his 2nd woman. I always thought we stood if we weren’t divorced yet. I guess I was wrong.

Thank you for this video regarding how we need to surrender our spouse to Jesus? My wife and I have been divorced for 21 months, and she remarried in December of 2023. We were married for close to 25 years and I realize there’s absolutely, positively NOTHING I can do to draw her back to the relationship and marriage in my own strength. But I made a covenant promise to her years ago, and I want to keep that promise. Am I still her covenant spouse? And should the fact that she remarried deter me
from my continuing to stand for her, as long as I am determined to surrender her to Jesus?

What if you’ve been standing and your spouse got remarried?
If a person is outside the will of God and marries them, it's not going to make God suddenly change His mind about them being outside of His will, right? Standing is about much more than marriage. It's about standing for the relationship your spouse has with God and being IN His will. So, marrying them would make you stand even MORE for them to turn, repent, and seek to have a relationship with God where they put HIS will above their own.
I’m struggling do I just sign the divorce papers as they stand or do i get my own attorney?
Please seek professional legal advice on what options you have. Talking with someone will help you decide.
I signed divorce papers as my wife said if I didn't it would affect her mental health and in turn affect the children, so I signed despite not wanting to, one day hopefully my family will be United again.
