      My plan is simple to never commiting adultery. Firstly...,There is nothing or no one or any pleasure worth losing my salvation for. Jesus died for my sins and paid the price for the privilege of my eternal life. Nothing on this earth is worth jeopardizing that gift. Secondly.., I would never do anything to break my husband's heart. He trusts me and I promised I would forsake ALL others till death do us part. There is no temptation worth more than eternity with Jesus and the love and respect of my husband. Life isn't that hard really. Let Jesus be your example and never break a promise to anyone you love. That includes Jesus and your spouse. Pray everyday!

    There is no such thing as a private sin. Everything has consequences. Even the "thoughts" of sinning cause us to lose our personal and public joy. It's like shutters that start to dim the sparkle in our eyes. This sparkle is so very attractive to both believers and the lost. I know that this sparkle is a direct result of being free in Christ. No current regrets or blatant sin. I want this!!! Thank you God that you give us a "re" button that is called forgiveness. Thank you for consequences that if remembered or thought about help us to cling to you in the battle. Thank you for Godly friends or family that are able to speak into our lives and help us hold fast to what we want and know to be truth. Thank you for Daren's awareness of his need for you and others to keep "Sparkling" openly for you! Show us how to fight personally, privately and professionally sin that hurts all relationships and our ability to love and share your love...Amen.

So remember that looking lusting, thinking of it, PORN is destroying your wife, your family, your salvation it’s sin against your wife family God yourself. Don’t do it. It’s so painful it’s horrific and it destroys marriages. ❤

      Billy Graham went even further in that he was not even alone with his daughter - as to not even give the appearance of impropriety. This rule will - for the most part - keep you safe.
      But even Jesus was so liberal as to drink and to be left (almost) alone with a woman.
      My wife and I take a different view in that we have a 1 Cor 7 definition of marriage. This being if the marriage fails then celibacy for life.

    How many christians are in 2nd marriages and adultery? Jesus says only death breaks the marriage covenant and all divorce and remarriage is adultery. Mark 10:11-12, Luke 16:18, Romans 7:2-3, 1Cor 7:10-11...Jesus says to remain unmarried or get back with your spouse. There is no exception , Jesus is clear. Matt5:32, 19:9 Jesus used 2 different words and was talking about the betrothal period.

    • @chosen-q8c
      @chosen-q8c Месяц назад

      @darthjedi99 You might want to read these scriptures again...they are referring to ones that divorced their spouse to go marry someone else...which was a common occurrence then and now. It is not referring to ones who divorced for scripturally sound reasonings and later on meet and marry another. Other scripture notes that if an unbelieving spouse leaves (abandons) the marriage the brother or sister is not bound..1 Corinthians 7:15. Is not referring to only the engaged. That's just what churches and doctrines of men have programmed you to believe. Our God is a God of justice and mercy also. He hates to see his people oppressed. If a marriage is abusive...do you think our Savior would demand a victim stay bound to such a situation? Of course not. 2nd or 3rd marriages are not adultery in cases where reasons for leaving a first marriage are based in God's commands and principles. When we take the context of all scripture combined to gain an understanding of God's principles we can conclude that the legalistic thinking of all divorce except in cases of adultery being forbidden is a false teaching. Jesus was referencing men who were divorcing their wives to specifically go marry another. During Moses time they were just leaving (sending away) their wives and abandoning her for the most ridiculous reasons and Moses said if you are going to send her away give her a certificate of divorce so she can marry another because she would have had no one to care for her. Moses made a provision for the abandoned wife. Jesus was telling the Pharisees that Moses permitted them to divorce because their hearts were hard and stubborn but that simply leaving someone you promised to care for was not what he created it to be from the beginning. Jesus was telling them you can't just marry someone and send her away for any reason unless if course she has been unfaithful. It's like even today what a person says can be taken so out of context and twisted..There is not a one size fits all model regarding divorce and sadly the church's stance has led many women to their deaths because they stayed in abusive marriages thinking they could only divorce if there was adultery. The Lord I worship would never condemn such a woman to a life of loneliness by requiring her to remain single for life especially if she also has children. In fact, the Lord would care for such a woman and children by allowing another man to step in to be a husband and father. Also in the case of a man whose wife may perhaps be a substance user and has neglected marital responsibilities or put their children in harm's way and refuses to stop the destructive course..he is justified in ending the marriage contract. Believers who divorce on sound Godly principles, morals, values, and character and later on meet another are free to marry again but should do so only in the Lord (based on his principles). Read the scriptures..it's clear.

      @melissaraef Месяц назад

      @@chosen-q8c You are misinterpreting the scriptures and therefore leading others astray from the true faith of God and giving permission to commit adultery.
      Scripture does not, under any circumstances, support a divorced individual getting married again while the other spouse is still living. Additionally, if the unbeliver leaves, let them go because you are not obligated to them, but it also doesn't mean you can be married again. The Ten Commandments prohibit it, and Herod, who was not a Christian, killed John the Baptist after he exposed him for being married to his brother's wife in violation of the commandment.
      You must overcome your loneliness, confess to God, make amends with Him and, if at all possible, your first spouse, or stay unmarried.
      Look at these scriptures:
      Malachi 2:13-16
      13 And this second thing you do. You cover the Lord's altar with tears, with weeping and groaning because he no longer regards the offering or accepts it with favor from your hand. 14 But you say, “Why does he not?” Because the Lord was witness between you and the wife of your youth, to whom you have been faithless, though she is your companion and your wife by covenant. 15 Did he not make them one, with a portion of the Spirit in their union? And what was the one God seeking? Godly offspring. So guard yourselves in your spirit, and let none of you be faithless to the wife of your youth. 16 “For the man who does not love his wife but divorces her, says the Lord, the God of Israel, covers his garment with violence, says the Lord of hosts. So guard yourselves in your spirit, and do not be faithless.”
      11 Should not divorce. Christ’s exception in a case of fornication (Matthew 5:32; 19:9) is not mentioned; but Paul is not composing a full treatise on the subject. If two Christians who have separated find they cannot happily live a single life, the only course properly open to them is to be reconciled. Remain single. Remarriage is excluded while the other spouse is alive (cf. Romans 7:3). Separated partners are thus still subject to church discipline; they are not expelled from the fellowship.
      Romans 7:3
      English Standard Version
      3 Accordingly, she will be called an adulteress if she lives with another man while her husband is alive. But if her husband dies, she is free from that law, and if she marries another man she is not an adulteress.
      Mark 6:16-18-16 But when Herod heard of it, he said, “John, whom I beheaded, has been raised.” 17 For it was Herod who had sent and seized John and bound him in prison for the sake of Herodias, his brother Philip's wife, because he had married her. 18 For John had been saying to Herod, “It is not lawful for you to have your brother's wife.”
      Hebrews 13:4 4 Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the marriage bed be undefiled, for God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterous.
      Matthew 19:9 And I say to you: whoever divorces his wife, except for sexual immorality, and marries another, commits adultery.”
      Jesus said, Matthew 16:4 states: "An evil and adulterous generation seeks for a sign, but no sign will be given to it except the sign of Jonah.”

    Jesus told us we can do no works to be saved, that is why He had to, the perfect Lamb of God Almighty paid for the wages of sin and whomever believes in Him that sent Him and paid the price you will be saved for everlasting life.
