Another stellar video! I'm learning so much! Thanks for taking the time to do this for us!
Your welcome! Thanks for watching!
Thank you for sharing your information! I just started collecting vintage jewelry after discovering that I already have some as inheritances from my mom, grandmothers, aunts, and great aunts. Especially appreciate seeing the different marks for Trifari.
That is the most fun to go through when you inherit from family. 😍
That’s cool 😎
Thank you, your video was extremely informative! I am just beginning to pick up vintage jewelry and have a lot to learn! Looking forward to watching more of your videos!
Thanks Christine for watching. Good luck on your jewerly journey. 😊
so informative! i was glued ! thank you for making my day!
Glad to hear that! Thanks for watching!
I had no idea there Trifari jewelry could command so much money! If I ever find one I will come back to this video 🙌😊 I’m so happy you have a bid on the scary baby tooth pin 😛
Lol! It sold for $860. Now I hope it gets to the new owner with no issues!🙏 Thanks for watching Esme!🥰
Thanks for this information!
This is a wonderful video. I have collected Trifari for over 35 years. Thanks to you, I now have information in one location. Would you consider doing a video that discusses the different groups of Trfari? There's jelly belly, jewels of India, fruit salad, etc etc.. You did a good job in this video, there are so many more Trifari categories.
How about a book detailing only designs by Trifari.
I will consider a more detailed trifari video. A good book sometimes can take many years and really good Trifari designer connections. But I see what you mean, that would be helpful! Thanks for watching Jeanne!
Really enjoyed watching this and the info you shared… thanks from Australia 😊🌷
Thanks Megan for watching!
I have a crown brooch that was made by Alfred Philippe in the 1940. Its has Trifari name on the back at the top and also a patent number at the bottom.
I really need someone to give me a price of what it could worth, because this brooch is a little different then what i seen so far.
That's awesome! Glad to hear it. It's always fun to have Alfred Philipe pieces!
@@benitomatias4786get it appraised from Dr Lori. It’s only $69. It might be worth $1200 or more.
Thank you for this video Lynn
NP, thanks for watching.
I LOVE Trifari!
Love your channel. I’ll be binging. Found you last night but was too tired to comment :) Thank you for the info!
Thanks for watching Stephver!!!
Thank you I’ve learned quite a lot now 👍👏
Glad to hear that! ❤️
Origin of Jelly Bellies: According to Judith Miller’s book , ‘Costume Jewelry’, during WWII Trifari converted some of its factories to produce lucite windshields and turrets. The rejects were thrown away, until Trifari decided to cut them into cabochons and used them as the ‘bellies’ of animal pins. Most were designed by Alfred Philippe. (Page 216)
And it seems Coro did the same thing. Thanks for the info and for watching!
This is a good video hopefully I get patients one day to really take a look at Jewelry I think it’s easy money to be made thank you for sharing
True, really there's money to be made in every category but I do like jewelry.
Thank you ❤
Thank you for the education
Your welcome!
Lovely.
Thanks a lot
Great. I will keep this communication and contact you when I have unpacked all of my trifari.
Oh, that sounds like fun!
I have collected and enjoyed Trifari jewelry for over 40 years. Absolutely love the workmanship, colors, variety and the designs are outstanding .
Once I passed 70 years of age, I realized that it might be time to pass my collection on through sales. Any suggestions as to the best way to do this.
My suggestion is to start on Ebay because they have about 135 million users and you will have the best opportunity to sell them individually on there. There are other sites as well but not as many users. If you want to sell them as a group and get rid of them faster, there are always people that will buy them as a lot. I agree about Trifari, the quality is there. Thanks for watching.
I am interested in buying some.
Tetap semangat upload video. Salam hangat dariku di Alor Indonesia
Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge on trifari jewelry. I learned so much.
Glad to do it! I learn too when researching.
I found a hang tag !!!
@@mya0818 Great!!!
There was a time when Kunio Matsumoto worked for Trifari. I do have a good collection of his grape leaves work 😊
Cool! Thanks for watching!
I love the fruit salad pieces!
Me too! ❤ Thanks for watching!
I have several pieces with the grown key/T tag. Any idea when they were being produced?
Hi, that hang tag started around 1954. I see it on many pieces too. I believe it has been used for quite a while.
I’ve never heard of Trifari using semi previous or precious stone. I’d be very interested in knowing if they actually did.
Thanks for watching Leslie!
I have a faux grey pearl individually knotted necklace with a hang tag which is a circle with a capital T . It looks similar to the Trifari T without the crown. There is no copyright. It is not old enough to be pre 1955. From your video it sounds like it is not Trifari. Do you know what it could be?
That most likely is not Trifari. Trifari did have a large cutout of a "T" with a crown on it. I am not familiar with that circle T mark. Did you try a Google lens search of the tag?
Sounds like Talbots.
