Kipchoge's range is absolutely insane. 3:33 for 1500, 7:27 for 3000, 12:46 for 5000, and now 2:03 for the legal marathon (2:00:25 not counting the IAAF rules). Insane.
The commentary was definitely one sided, but they are rooting for their countryman. Must have been tough for Kipchoge with the crowds rooting for Mo, but Kipchoge is a class runner.
+Ngetich Kipchirchir (LONE935) Kipchoge is better than Farah and yet the cameras and commentators focused on Farah. It is so absurd that no one noticed that Kipchoge is also doing exploits in the marathon. He beat El goruj and Bekele once in the same race!! Kudos to this great guy and Farah has had a questionable past too. Kenya iko juu!!
Bekele and kipchoge are just classic athletes. I enjoyed how the commentators were confused. No one could think of innocent kipchoge. Go higher brother; come October. The Landon Marathon
Good race. Kipchoge and Farah are two of the greatest ever; Bekele and Kipsiro are extremely tough competition. All four in one race, with a fast pace, was a joy to watch. You could really see that marathoner strength come out in the last lap of a fast paced race. In a slower race, Farah probably sprints right by in the last 150M.
Tariku Bekele has run 8:04 two miles but for some reason he lacks the kick of his older brother. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tariku_Bekele en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Moses_Ndiema_Kipsiro Eliud Kipchoge is an all-time great. He has become a world class marathon runner. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eliud_Kipchoge Mo Farah knows how to win although he got boxed in here and had to settle for second. He's never tried to break records though.
Kipchoge all time my best athlete but we also have to congratulate Kipsiro for job well done beating Tariku bekele and becoming 3rd best here is something we need to celebrate.
Love how Mo has a clearly bad finish and gets second, and everybody in the comments is suddenly talking about how "overrated" he is. If he would have won I'm sure the comments would be praising him.
+SirFancyPants21 I don't know if it's fair to say it's a "clearly bad" finish. Winning time was 8:07 indoors, that's really quick time so a bad finish could easily be a result of the pace. The main issue is who beat Farah. If one of the other guys had won instead of Kipchoge, you probably wouldn't see these comments about being overrated. They would just say Mo had a bad race because he usually smokes those other guys. Kipchoge changes the game a little, because he is someone Mo hasn't battled, and was the smallest of notches behind the titans of the 90s and early 2000s like Geb, Bekele, Sihine, and Hicham. Because Mo has never ran a scorching fast time, there is speculation that he isn't in the same class as a Geb or Bekele and the only reason he is so dominant is that he faces a weaker crop of runners than the greats of 20 years ago. When a guy like Kipchoge, who has been dealing with injury for a long time no less, shows up and beats Mo it's easy to see how it makes people wonder if Mo is GOAT status great. It doesn't say anything definitive, but it certainly stirs up the pot about whether guys like Bekele, Kipchoge, Hicham, etc. were that much better than Mo. It's worth noting that even the fact that we are seeing comments like this is pretty high regard for Farah. If people are discussing whether you are overrated in the sense of not deserving the status of GOAT track distance runner...then obviously people still think you're pretty damn good.
He runs for Britain, let it go. He chose Britain. In Kenya we don't care about our own athletes who don't wear our Jersey and fly our flag. We call them Kenya B. Mostly witnessed in Olympics middle and long distances and cross country. Kenya A always comes on top though. We don't even know them, we just hear their names when they get a medal behind Kenya 🇰🇪 and we're like 'Oh, that's a Kenyan name' 😂
And now, Mo Farah is going to try his hand at the marathon. Just that this time, it will be Mo Farah trying to unseat Kipchoge. Go break the 2 hour mark boys!
It's awesome seeing Kipchoge rock it at 2 miles, and now dominating the marathon. There was a man who was born to run.
+thegreatcarraway Yes. I think Eliud Kipchoge's position in the history of running will be very high when he's going to retire.
Yup. Eliud was an incredible middle distance guy for years. His marathon dominance......if he can win a couple more majors will be even more amazing.
Kipchoge's range is absolutely insane. 3:33 for 1500, 7:27 for 3000, 12:46 for 5000, and now 2:03 for the legal marathon (2:00:25 not counting the IAAF rules). Insane.
Isaac Jennings still feel like the god of range has gotta be said aouita, world class at every track distance that isn't a sprint
thegreatcarraway .
I like how they were talking about mo fahrah breaking records in the beginning and then Kipchoge strolls up and wins. HAHA
Ya, and how everybody wants No to win that race. Nope, my favourite won the race. Great race Eliud.
Hahaha
Hahaaa...you nail it
Hillbilly Jack maybe cause it’s a British company and because he had the best history before this race. Fucking moron have some respect
The commentary was definitely one sided, but they are rooting for their countryman. Must have been tough for Kipchoge with the crowds rooting for Mo, but Kipchoge is a class runner.
my hats off to that white boy who wasnt that far behind even on the last lap.
Hi, I think I recognise Arne Gabius, who is german marathon record holder nowadays (2:08:33, not bad!!), a very good white athlete indeed.
maxouf1 Arne
Hats off Arne Gabius keeping up the whole time this insane pace ✊️
@@maxouf1 A good athlete.
Lord Vic that’s what I thought, keep the pace to this “ monsters “ hats off
FromRussiaWithLove White man boy
Mo Farah shouldn't have been disappointed. Kipchoge was born to run! Kipchoge is at the moment the King of Marathons
barchetta575m mo Farrah is still very quick and is “born to run” mo has some quick times and don’t go saying a 8:08 2 mile ain’t quick or nothing
Always proud of you kipchoge you have made Kenya 🇰🇪 great God bless you and give you more strength to win and win leave long kipchoge
Respect from me from India.
Eliud Kipchoge doing an awesome job there! always my favorite.
+Ngetich Kipchirchir (LONE935) Kipchoge is better than Farah and yet the cameras and commentators focused on Farah. Well, kipchoge is one of the best of all time if not the best!
Bekele?
Kipchoge is great, but he’s no Kenenisa Bekele.
Only great at marathon
@@o3_o3_28 Kenenisa and Haile Gebreselassie the greatest
its weird that no one seemed to care about how awesome germany did. Only 3 seconds behind wow. Arne Gabius FTW :D
He did very well, considering the fact that he was competing against very experienced athletes. Congratulations to him.
Eliud is the gentleman to chase down and beat...good luck. EK is THE MAN
Kipchoge is on another level. He is a classic athlete and I Love the way he run.
Great to see humble Kipchoge blow away Mo Farrah. The commentary was so biased, don’t bother interviewing the winner? Nah.
Good race. Kipchoge and Farah are two of the greatest ever; Bekele and Kipsiro are extremely tough competition. All four in one race, with a fast pace, was a joy to watch. They all have Tariku to thank for keeping the pace going in the closing stages.
ohhh my Goodness, this was great, pure emotions!
Yesterday Kipchoge won Berlin Marathon in 2hrs 1 min 39 sec.
Since then he has won London.
@@denisdaly1708 This this comment he has gone sub 2 hours in the marathon lol
Lemme wait for Olympics so I can comment and say he's a double Olympic champion 😅
I love the expression on their faces as they are digging deep toward the end to win. 9:39 Just a joy to watch.
Kipchoge is a BEAST.
Incredible race, just amazing!
Wow Kipchoge KENYA XD CONGRATULATIONS!!!
Kipchoge even broke into a smile in the last 100m of such a fast race. What a beast.
This is a race! My eyes popped out in surprise! This is impressive!
Elued kipchoge the world best racer
Just goes to show how impressive Daniel Komens sub 8minute time was.
And this Sun it will be Kipchoge, vs K. Bekele and Wilson Kipsang in the Berlin Marathon..........should be awesome.
nobody is commenting about the white man but to me he disserves a compliment.
Eh?
hahahahahahaha fck
Arne Gabius- still Germany's best long distance runner!
KORNADO it's BBC commentary no disrespect to mo farah foster was a great runner pain as a commentator
nah white people are just too lazy compared to these guys. they push themselves to the limit, white people just go home and watch tv.
Cadence is key......go Eliud..the best of the best emerges.!!
Kipchoge the greatest long distance runner of all time. The one who holds the 1:59.40 Ineos record.
I'm sorry to inform you that that record is absolutely invalid, I assure you Kenesisa Bekele is superior.
If Bekele was healthier when he joined the roads he would also go under 2:00 hours
Commentator: Mofarah is going to break This record. Mofarah Mo Farah blah blah blah
Eliud Kipchoge: Hold my medal!
No Human is limited
You just have to like what the commentator says..."but Eliud Kipchoge is a class class athlete"
Mo Farah remains the most over hyped British athlete in British athletics history.
The only problem, is that Farah is Somalian, not British.
Francis Hooton Behave😂😂😂
+Peter Lewis Listen to him speak and tell me he’s not British
Man that was insanely fast!!!
arne garbius from germany was impressive too :)

was the white guy in blue a pacemaker for kipchoge's sub 2 hour mile?
El mejor de los mejores, que bueno que paso a correr maratones
You are motivation my set.
Commentator pls apologise for your coment that mo will win
Many don’t probably realize that Kenenisa Bekele’s brother is here and not him.
Kenya forever
Kipchoge all time my best athlete but we also have to congratulate Kipsiro for job well done beating Tariku bekele and becoming 3rd best here is something we need to celebrate.
Kipchoge is the BOSS

Kenenisa bekele and kipchoge are the all time great rivals
Mo Far is a Somalian not a British by birth...born in Mogadishu, Somalia.
He runs for Britain, let it go. He chose Britain. In Kenya we don't care about our own athletes who don't wear our Jersey and fly our flag. We call them Kenya B. This guy Kip is phenomenal 👏
I sweat at just watching them run in my room...mark you am nowhere near the sun
Damn that Kipchoge broke the 2hr marathon barrier
Outstanding!
Always gets my adrenaline pumping hearing the gun at the start of the race
Damn. That was intense!!
8 mins and a few seconds to run 2 miles is crazy
wow go Kenya go!!
Unbelievable
You'd think that Kipchoge would've made the Kenyan Olympic team after watching a race like that.
6:07 Commentator: Win the race Mo. That's what you gotta do.
Me: There are other runners too.
So one sided. I hate this commentary.
Seriously bro. F*ck the commentators
It's a shame to say "by fact MO Farah will win this.
And now, Mo Farah is going to try his hand at the marathon. Just that this time, it will be Mo Farah trying to unseat Kipchoge. Go break the 2 hour mark boys!
Andrew Ng
Mo did great for his debut Marathon too! 2:08! But Commentators where annoying and was criticizing him. Hope he runs more marathons
Salute kipchoge
Did Mo forget to dope before this meet? Did he not get the memo from Salazar?
Kipchoge... Nothing to get him there 😁😁
Kipchoge the best of thm all
bakele my best runer in the world
KENYA,SOMALIA,UGANDA ETHIOPIA.JAPAN
KORNADO all east Africans
Damn horn Africa
set the commentary at 7.40 as my morning wake up alarm!
You can't compare mo farah with kipchoge..... Kipchoge is by far the goat
I assure you Kenesisa Bekele is superior.
Kipchoge the king 👑 of marathon
I love you A.C
He is the sort of athlete that Mo has to beat
Kipchoge waits several years and gets even older and bangs out sub 2 like a boss
The lion of Africa.
This Kenyan guy kipchope is soo energetic,,,,,,Ma sha Allah
Those pace makers r very good don’t know what the commentator was talking abt
mo is great runner guys learn same frome him .stop hating
Love you Farah
Thank you brother, you looked great and i hope you were clean!!!! God Bless!!
Here comes Mo Farah, here comes Mo Farah... but Mo Farah never came 🤣
Amazing world best runners at a terrific pace, finishing the event and recovering immediately
This field is incredible. Why bother even being on the track with them
0:51 Commentator: End of the day we are all looking for Mo Farah to win this race.
Are they really commentators ? Or cheer leaders ?
very one sided commentary !
rohan sahni their British commentators their obviously gonna focus on farah
Watch 1984 Los Angeles Olympic marathon USA commentary. Salazar is like 2 minutes down on the lead pack and they are still discussing how he can win.
wish I'd seen this race before the 2015 London Marathon
The are all heroes!
Eliud Kipchoge
These guys should get the same kind of compensation that pro tennis players get.
Its not Kenenis Bekele, that is a different Bekele.
Anonymous It’s the younger brother. I was wondering why Kenesisa was part of the debate
whatstsup with these commentators bias covering MO all the time even after he lost as if he was the only one running?
superb run.
the pace makers don't go silly!!?....watch your language MR commentator
KORNADO so you noticed that too.
heheeee .....na hapo " but.....septic but
Toughest 10000m race of all time
Uganda is also represented
The jingoism is obnoxious - especially in the light of Farah's refusal to dissociate himself from the disgraceful Salazar
The most biased commentary i have ever heard... unfortunately ,kipchoge was born a runner... man from my own nandi county
And in Kenya the commentators were doing the same for him.
Kipsoro Uganda congrats
Kipchoge great.
Anyone realised its neighbours race-Kenya Ethiopia-Somali and Uganda.
Bekele is the nightmare of Kipchoge, and this is not the unique unbeatable Kenenisa, is his brother or cousin or something like that
Incrivel!!!!!!
Some still believe that if mofara met kenenisa bekele at his prime he would have challenged him
