While intel is better at productivity and nvidia is better at productivity RT and dlss.
Yeah if you don't get the water-cooled version then you have to buy supports for it It also takes up 3 PCI E slots with the added support so good luck fitting anything else in there

Where did you get your cable extensions? Currently on the 7900 XTX with the three 8 pin PCIE connectors. I have to use two pigtailed 6+2 pcie cables supplied from my msi a1000g pcie 5 psu , leaving one of the pigtails unplugged so I hate the look.

Most games cant utilize the extra cores/vram cache that the threadripper has. Overall for a 5000$ cpu you arent getting even 5x the performance for 15x the cost. So I have the Radeon rx 7900xt and ryzen 9 7900x3d…does anyone know why my pc can’t run any game including ones from 2008 like wizard 101?? I know I didn’t build it wrong cuz I didn’t build it I payed micro center (professionals) to build it. And before you ask about the drivers like amd adrenaline is Jesus and performs miracles….it doesn’t. I’ve done everything regarding the drivers and it didn’t do ANYTHING. My last suggestion I’m thinking is the bios needs to be setup and updated and then maybe my pc will run as expected so I tried that and it kept rebooting back into bios so I “saved and exited”, and I setup an appointment at micro center for them to setup and update bios and/or fix or at least diagnose the issue if bios doesn’t fix it (which I’m PRAYING it does cuz I already spent over $4000 on this piece of junk) I should’ve stuck with my ps5🤦🏾♂️ as of right now it’s outperforming my pc SO MUCH the pc isn’t even a competition atp…yet it’s supposed to be able run games like starfield at like 100fps, and the latest cod at like 250fps

I know, I know call me a clown🤣 this is my first pc tho EVER I forgot the gpu had ports and the first display port I saw was the one in the motherboard where everything else is plugged into😅

All my cods run fine, league of legends, wizard 101, gta, and even the most recent assassin’s creed games (I only tested origins honestly but I’d assume the others will perform fine, and even if they didn’t that wouldn’t bother me either cuz I don’t like those specific AC games aside from mirage, origins was just a test run) Edit: and I don’t NEED obs to stop crashing mw3 (tho it would be nice) cuz I have it on my ps5 and can just buy a capture card if I need to. Except for the fact that you shouldn’t use 4 DIMMs with DDR5 and just going dualchannel will give you more performance as XMP will run stable at the recommended speeds as long as it doesn’t exceed 6000MHz
I also prefer AMD. Sadly they got a security breach called 'Zen bleed' on CPU's based on Zen 2 Architeture. Would be a good service to remind the people to fix the issue as soon as AMD provides a solution.

When you use more than 2 ram slots, you lose ram frequency (Mhz) search it up.
