I also loved hearing you speak positively about getting darker in the sun. It’s so common to hear Black people (old and young) speak negatively about their dark skin. I even had to break up an argument between my two 10 yr old cousins a few weeks ago which started bc one of them called the other ugly for having a tan. I’ll come back when I finish the video.

I was whole foods vegan for 10 years and I totally stand by the message that you’re sending out but realising how everyone’s bodies are different is also something I didn’t have an open mind to when I was vegan.
Now I eat intuitively and having come from a vegan experience I have a fuller understanding as to the options I have and eating healthy. But God definitely led me back to a diet of everything excluding processed foods and being grateful for what I am given. Sharing with family and friends is something I didn’t realise is incredibly healing too ❤
It was 100% hard for me to go back on all that I said but for anyone watching this and already in a place where they have their identity around a way of eating but your health is suffering, it’s okay and you’re not a bad person if you listen and trust in your own body x
I love the fact that you posted your perspective with such tact. I too was once on a vegan/vegetarian path a few years ago due to thinking that God didn't create us to eat meat/dairy bc of the adverse outcomes of ppl who consumed it. God woke me up to the fact that He did create us to eat meat, but in moderation and prepared in healthy ways; He Himself ate fish. God also revealed to me that ppl's bodies are different (just like you said) and it's not the actual meat that is the issue. It's the lifestyles ppl live (fast/processed foods, *no self control*, no sleep, drug use, and no/little exercise). He created all foods to be received with thanksgiving. 1 Timothy 4:4. God wants us to take care of our temples and eating meat in moderation will not destroy us. The state of a person's heart will.

let me chime in .,.I respect the fact you are a plant base eater.but one thing you have to keep in mind is that we all trying to eat as healthy as we possibly can. Whether you call it vegan. Vegetarian. Carnivore.pecatorian. keto etc...we are trying to establish a healthy life style long term...None of the diet modalities I mentioned are miracle diets, some work well for people, some do not. Do not have this unyielding dogma about your diet....life is a compilation of many things...the way you eat now phil, might not be the way you eat 30 or 40 years from now...the most important thing is that you continue to put Jesus at the for front of your life... Regarding plant based relationships has to have compromise are it will fail. Compromise is a two way street not one. Opposites always attract it gives the relationship detail for growth on both sides.
