To all the people that are questioning why these times were "slow". Bandimere Speedway is right outside of Morrison, CO where the elevation is 5800 ft. NA engines suffer the most at elevation--losing around 15% of their HP at 5800 ft elevation. While supercharged engines lose slightly less and turbocharged platforms lose the least at around 7% (if their boost PSI is not calibrated to account for the lower air density). These are simply rough estimates to explain what's happening here. Essentially, elevation is not kind to internal combustion engines 🙁

12.47 is very slow for a Trackhawk. I ran 11.4 stock and 11.2 with minor mods.
I believe this track is a mile above sea level , so definitely loosing big power
Maybe at or closer to sea level you did, the elevation is close to 6000 ft uncorrected at Bandimere. Literally every comment section you read following a video you see of Bandimere its littered with people talking about how slow the cars are running, if you haven’t raced up at elevation it’s incomprehensible to most people! Demons run mid to low 11’s up here…

@@BrUh-ve3tq it is because the air is thinner, but air resistance isn’t the problem. thinner air = less air getting into the cylinders which then means less power

@Amanda Southern No, if you leave before the green you "red light" and you lose the race, period. Yes your elapsed time may very well be faster or slower, but you still lose if it is a race.

Challenger all day. It's not even close. The magnum was a joke and looked terrible, but I will say after looking up hellcat magnum protos, I'm with you on that one. Having a stupid fast wagon would be both funny and dope AF.

Reading the comments on "The elevation" - When I ran SS/ST and Heavy Eliminator, we ran between 11.03-11:46 at around 129-140mph. It was in a 77 Olds Cutless (Later an 79 F-Body) with a built 383 N/A ram set up. So I get the elevation, but running a 12:09 seems slow. However, we were running an actual 1320ft. Isn't this 1000ft?
