Thanks for sharing. This is beautiful. It was nice to hear your thought process as you created. It was really kind of you todo it even though you were having a busy day.
2/20/22: This was so cool that I started making one the moment I saw your tutorial. I would have loved to have seen the finished product of your white envelope, which I'm sure came out looking just as good as the first one you showed, but I get it, you had things to do back then. (LOL!) Thanks for sharing this fun project. I love it!
This is a great idea! I ran across it recently working with my collection of envelopes, both junk mail and stationary. Definitely going to give this a try.❣
Watching you ink...lol I ink very sparingly too... It doesn't take much. I've had my Ted Holtz Photo for probably 2 years or more....and still going strong..,...💌
Just discovered your channel. Love this. you have a soft tone of voice and it’s stays even. Some people have auditory issues and yours really is the right tone of voice and excellent way of teaching! Bravo 🎉
I paint manuscripts using medieval ones as inspiration so am glad to see some of them are available to print. They are beautiful and look lovely in journals and other paper crafts. Thanks for sharing. Your tutorial was easy to follow and I am looking forward to making a few of them.
Thanks for showing how to create your own fold out. So fun. Happy New Year. We never go anywhere either so our kids are coming over to play games, eat appetizers, and toast in the new year. Quiet, safe, and more family time. It's the best. Be safe.
Nice very nice! I think I will try these with square envelopes! I think I'm going to make some Christmas gift thingies with it. So I will be using red or green envelopes. But when I use white or want to change the materiaal to craft color I found paper packing tape that is craft color and! Makes for a very nice covering on just about anything! If the envelope, box, carton or whatever is with print or color I use 2 layers if it is 1 color you could use 1layer. But the tape is cheap and it has 50 meters. I am so happy I have found this tape.
Love 💕 this video only using 2 envelopes to make this flip out is a great ideal. Purchased the crafts envelopes in summer 2019 & I’ve never opened the pack but now I will. Thanks 😊 so much for sharing!! 😊🤗
Use your hand to press down the plastic bar while cutting the paper. It stabilizes the blade to paper. Thank you for sharing this project. Happy New Year.
I’m fascinated with that ruler! I’ve seen them & wondered why the edges weren’t straight! I like your work. I want to use the vintage books I have on hand for my creations but can’t bring myself to tear them! Well, except for the Life series on photography, that’s ok to tear up! Sometimes you can find a box of parchment paper at a second hand store.
What a super video. I am new to all this junk journaling etc and wondered where you get your beautiful papers. I'm in Australia so supplies may well be different !! Will try it regardless with what ever papers I can. Making the envelope is certainly easy to follow. Thanks again for the inspiration.
I get a lot of my papers from Medieval Mirage on Etsy. I think I also used one of my digital downloads on this envelope also available on Etsy at CraftyCatUSA. Thank you, Amy💕😺
Love this idea, plus I really love your papers of photocopied lace with colored backgrounds. Thanks so much for that tip! Come to think of it, I wonder what putting other ephemera on the glass of the copier, with the lace, (sorta like collaging without the glue) would look like when copied? Gonna have to try it next time I go to kinkos 🙂. Hope you have an awesome day!
Love this! I've made 6 recipe books for Christmas gifts, using only envelopes. They are fun and easy to work with. New subbie, here...Love your style!! 🥰 Suzy
Love this idea. Thanks so much. I have looked through you Esty and your medieval digitals but do not fine a nature pack. Love the paper you are using. Hugs!
Those papers are from Medieval Mirage the florals are in her Medieval Missives part 3 and 4 and Medieval Odessy part 4 I believe. Those aren't in my Etsy shop. My digi is the Winter Wonder. Thanks for watching, Amy 💕😺
Amy, I have been going through your videos to find out how you did that slit in the craft envelope flip out? I ended up making my own envelopes to be the size of your craft envelopes 😀 Thanks.
I didn't do anything to it to make it shiny. I think it's just the way my light is shining on it. I print my digis on parchment paper so that may have something to do with it as well. I will try to do another video on this particular one.👍💕Smy
I just found your channel. Love, love, love these envelopes. PLEASE - what is that ruler called? The one that tares the raggedy edge. I'm new to paper crafting, I'm a sewer and never saw a ruler like that. NEED one! lol
Y'know when you do these videos, ppl can't "share " them.
You're a very good teacher

Amy, I have been going through your videos to find out how you did that slit in the craft envelope flip out?
I ended up making my own envelopes to be the size of your craft envelopes 😀
Thanks.
The slit is just a strip of paper glued on either end like a belly band. Thank you! Your envelope turned out wonderful! 💕Amy
💖I figured there had to be an 'easy solution' 😀thanks Amy.
i saw the stationary you made with the caio bella paper. are you going to utube how you made the stationary and beautiful box.?
I don’t think that was me. Where did you see that?

is there a 2nd part to this tutorial? Looking forward to starting this project
No I showed it in the video right after this one. Thank you, Amy❤️
Which kit of Jarf's did you use? I see the link but that just goes to her shop. Thanks, this is fun!
That was 2019 so I’m not sure. I think it was scraps from multiple kits not just one that’s why I put the general link. So sorry. Thank you 💕
I love your kit and you’re collage xx
Thank you so much! I really appreciate your support. Happy New Year, Amy💕😺
I love these but how do you make it shiny can you make a tutorial all the way to the end of project? please I love it
I didn't do anything to it to make it shiny. I think it's just the way my light is shining on it. I print my digis on parchment paper so that may have something to do with it as well. I will try to do another video on this particular one.👍💕Smy
