Can you please ask people what degree they got in college and if that degree was necessary to get their current job?
Rejection always means Redirection. Create the opportunity. Do not wait for the opportunity. Thanks Sam.
You are seriously so WISE.

What my mama always says
👍🏾✔️
This!!!!
I agree with her. I did the old bump and grind for 20 years. Working for a wealthy corporation making them rich like working myself to the bone. Then seven years ago my husband and myself woke up. I decided to open a cleaning business. Six months into that new cleaning business I had a contract with the federal government cleaning an IHS medical facility. That one contract alone makes me more money in one year than I’ve ever made in my entire life. I only have to do the cleaning three days a week each time 2 1/2 hours and that’s it. We just barely renewed the contract for an additional five years. And I’m very blessed to have been able to get what I asked for in the bidding process. It’s funny because I make more money with my little old cleaning business than a lot of the doctors that work in this clinic. The other business that we decided to run was a trucking business. I run that business as well alongside my husband and I even got my CDL license back in April. I never thought I’d be a trucker but when you’re doing it for yourself it’s a whole different story. Side hustle, side hustle, side hustle. Exactly what that second woman said. It’s so true, even though we have the two businesses, I still do my side hustles. I paint Jack Skellington ornaments and between the months of September and December every single year I can pull more side money. Doing something that I like to do. Let me rephrase that…. I love to do it actually. I might have to sit there for hours painting these ornaments. But it’s just cool knowing that my ornaments are literally being sent to all different places around the world and they’re on somebody’s Christmas tree thousands of miles away. So if you took the time to read all of this all I can say is chase your dreams. Work hard and don’t let anybody tell you that you can’t do it because it is very much possible. You can be successful at anything. Good luck out there everyone! And I would like to add I ran away from home when I was 15 years old. I never even finished high school. Those 20 years that I worked for other big corporations I was a food and beverage Director. Worked my way up from a waitress and then every position in between until I was the highest position I could be. The last place I worked was in Vegas it was a big casino and I had eight restaurants under me and over 250 employees. God bless everyone ❤️
Thanks for sharing🙂
I don’t normally read long paragraphs but somehow I read yours and it gives me great hope, thanks for sharing best of luck to you
That’s Amazing thank you for sharing 😊
Thanks! For sharing as someone who wants to start a cleaning business of my own 😊😊😊 sometime in the nearest future, i was truly blessed and inspired by how hard you had to wor/grind to get what you want and to where you are. Like you said about workin' for a wealthy corporation, i made up my mind i don't want to work till I'm 40 or 50 workin' day and night, everyday, every week, Long ass hours, gettin' home with the long day exhaustions, doing it for months years, oh hell no! So thank you once again.
I LOOOOOOVE THISSSSS👏👏👏👏👏👏💚
500k a month is such a crazy number. My goal was 10 to 30k a month . Thanks for letting me know I'm settling.. Need to set my goals higher for sure.
We will get there he been here longer than us . My goal was about what you a month lol it’s a start for greatness
That’s an INSANE amount. Who really needs that much money?
@@rockyayyy8978 me and my entire extended family. Wut a weird question to ask.
It may or may not be true.
You can make 10 to 30k a month in easily in California selling financial products: Loans, houses, finance products, that’s pretty standard. Long hours but it’s average
That first guy gave gems.
Get an education, work hard, stay focused, and be coachable.
Hulk Hogan said that in the 80s
Nah, that's pretty generic Hallmark card.
meh... that's the standard advice.
The problem with that is that it’s so obvious that ppl don’t listen to it because they hear it all the time
Big thank you to all those individuals who were open minded and willing to share their story.
The guy from Nigeria told the truth of how our minds are very powerful. If we believe in ourselves, we can manifest our dreams!!
I really relate to this man from Nigeria - using all those "lower class" jobs... as part of his vision to move up, he learned with each job and now makes millions. this is it!
That was very honest of that gentleman to start with acknowledging that the times and his age played a significant role in where he is today.
I like how these vids arent loaded up with music and have a bunch of cuts. Its just a real convo which makes it way easier to actually absorb.
Yeah it's called quality. Good 👍
So true background music is often times so so bad
My cousin has a beautiful home in Calabasas and he and his wife only have a four year degree fromUCLA. They both have regular jobs. They also have three children. They are really great with saving money all while helping those in need. Wonderful people to look up to.
what do you mean regular jobs? and how are they saving money? I imagine with three kids and a mortgage in Calabasas that must not be easy
What type of regular jobs do they do?
@@almahidalgo2235 like a banker or some sorts. Or trust fund
@Alma Hidalgo I know them they sell meth to college kids
@@janexian9232 do you know the OP?
Seeing the second women, successful, Latina, well spoken is so inspiring! Thank you for this✨
“Be coachable” was underrated advice in this video. It’s about mindset. I’ve noticed so many young people think they know everything. They can’t be told anything. There’s a certain level of baked in arrogance in many of them. Those who are humble, hungry, and willing to learn, tend to thrive long term.
We get to see real everyday people being interviewed while going about their daily businesses. Not celebrities, or popular people just regular people doing big things. This is highly motivating and challenging. Thumbs up sir
Old people, mostly
Celebrities are regular people too
Everyday people? The average person is struggling. Even if they’re hustling.
899 people and I agree👍 😊
@@scarlettstar True but I also want to see people who aren't celebrities that made it rich, like how did they do it without being an actor/singer so it was interesting to see the different jobs like finance, advertising..
Successful people don't become that way overnight. What most people see at a glance- wealth, a great career, purpose-is the result of hard work and hustle over time. I pray that anyone who reads this will be successful in life..
Expert Caitlin has really made name for her self
And she has made success easier than we thought.
Sometimes I wonder if she uses magical powers to trade.
Natural, there’s a lot of math involved in forex trading,
but this is often presented in forms of daunting technical charts, indicators, patterns.
I swear if you take the contacts of all these people and make focused podcast style interview to them, I would watch 2 hours of them talking about their stories.
It's so interesting. I wanna know everything about their mind and their lifestyle.
especially the first guy
Would be a great frickin podcast. 👌 "The Occupational Wealth Podcast"
You may enjoy the podcast "How I Built This with Guy Raz" it does just what you described.
Just follow The Musk
You’re giving someone else your money idea
Please, next time, do not cut off anyone sharing some inspiration like that Nigerian brother! His story would have touched lives, and ignited dreams!
I think he done a great job interviewing.
haha , yeah , it seemed as though the Nigerian was too long-winded & the interviewer was tired of listening to him
Yeah I wanted to hear more from him
He was on a rant🙄
I felt like that Nigerian guy had a really amazing story, coming from Nigeria, does anyone know what it's like for the average person in Nigeria it's not easy not even for the educated ones. To come to America and open so many restaurants and I know he is telling the truth because African and Caribbean cuisine is very rich that's my background. I don't feel like he gave him enough shine he wasn't listening either.
Finally a video on "regular" people, it's nice to see people who aren't celebrities that made it rich, like how did they do it without being an actor/singer/influencer.
So it was interesting to see the different jobs like finance, advertising..
I love how down to earth these people are. This was very inspiring. Thank you for sharing this.
california
We just expanded our business into the US and I will say that Americans on our team are very inspiring. The partners we've made have an optimism and tenacity (especially towards entrepreneurship) that is infectious to be around. I think its cool to see regular people share their stories.
Hi this is a nice comment. Which country are you from? And can you tell some of the differences between your countrymen and Americans?
Genuinely curious.
Regards
@@farzana6676 I am from Canada. We have great entrepreneurs here (which we are surrounded by as it is the nature of our business) and they certainly deal with challenging networks as the country's population is much less (smaller than California I believe). But I've also found that the Canadian mindset is mostly employee-salary focused as benefits are abundant and people fear loosing them as risks involved with starting a business. For example, women will delay entrepreneurship to maintain the ability to have maternity leave once they become pregnant.
You'd have to successfully start your business part time and firstly achieve enough momentum such that it outweighs your salaried job. Also, when you do become successful and reach a higher tax bracket the income tax is very high. It's all well and good for the betterment of our country, but I know a lot of higher income people who are exhausted by it too (and consider moving to America for this reason). Considering almost all successful business owners I know are self-made, I can understand why it can feel unfair to pay such high taxes.
I suppose in America there is less of a "safety net" so there seems to be a fire in the bellies of the people we partner with from the US. For better or for worst, it seems like Americans know they need to hustle if they want to thrive. I've also heard the feedback that they've experienced nightmarish treatment from former companies (like not giving people time off for emergencies). So when they start working with us, they are surprised by how much support they are given to succeed. It's a win-win all around.
This was actually a good honest segment, no goofy stuff. I like how honest that older gentleman was about how different the landscape is today for younger people. The ppl that were interviewed at the beginning that started their careers 25 yrs ago... that was per-recession. I started my career just under 20 yrs ago and those 5 yrs make a huge a difference. I graduated college right in the midst of the recession. The #1 thing all of these ppl said (the Nigerian guy was the best!) is HARD WORK! Nothing in life comes easy. Pick something you enjoy doing and your good at and you will find success because you will be motivated to get up and hustle every day. That's the only way. Also, a whole lot of luck and taking advantage of opportunities, which is what all these people definitely conveyed.
this talking-to-random-successful-people thing is a Doctorate, keep it up!

I love hearing peoples life stories 😊 you have to go through the struggle before the success. Learn and grow as a person. Take opportunities because you never know where it might take you.
I just 38 and had failed online startups a decade ago, which I learned from and appreciate what I learned. THIS, and SnewJ's whole channel etc, makes me want to get a train ticket, a simple bag and head to Cali to see the country and try again.
@LaPortaD Good For you! One Big Happy Life has an online class for starting a business. Hers is online so you might not even have to move.
"Chase your dreams, and never stop" I love that

Sounds so cliché
@@Comeswoopfam It’s true though because most people stop, get distracted, become lazy and settle.
"Rejection always means redirection"....I love that phrase!
I will forever appreciate this channel, you’ve helped me and my family a lot, your videos, advice and lessons are inspirational helpful to us,
I now earn every week. You’re such a blessing to this generation, we all love you.
I can share some that helped me,
Plan towards it
Be minimal in spending
Save money wisely towards retirement
Save to invest, it’s proven way to get richer.
There are lots of investing options ( real estate, stock , gold silver, cryptocurrency).
A lot of people are rushing into trading without the knowledge of how it works and it’s very wrong, I will advise you to trade with an expert.
I know of Expert Naomi.
She is a crypto prodigy and has handled my trade for 6 months now…. I have made over $8000 in my first week of trading.
Fascinating!!!! Love This!!! Thank you! I’m blown away that these folks are so open to share their wisdom and help others!
That’s an EXCELLENT life-lesson on rejection. Thanks for your honesty too when it appeared that you would never have been rejected.
I love how gracious everyone seems and truly want to give some insight.
THIS is such an amazing video. Would love more like it. So kind of people to stop their day and be so open and share their lives and their advice. Invaluable and so inspiring!!!!!
I was excited to come across your channel, Sam. Such a great idea and highly inspirational! I am 60 and have done very well in tech and real estate, but we are forever students and I LOVE learning about other folks who have done well, what they do (and how they got there) AND how much they make (most of us don't have the hutzpah to ask that question but it is very valuable and I loved that most folks were comfortable being honest and sharing that personal info with you). Subscribed. :-)
First time watcher - I really enjoyed this video and the insights.
One note - maybe ask what advice they’d give in general in pursuing your dreams and goals vs. what advice they’d give to someone wanting to be in that field of employment/career? I feel like that’s give a different perspective and insight. No shade, I loved this video! Thank you!
What's most impressive is that your questions are making people THINK. The interviewees as much as the viewers. Good work!
Big tip from my Nigerian 🇳🇬 brother. Kudos brother
Loved the Nigerian guy and his words of wisdom 6:16

I try to google him but I am helpless
I like how you approach people, very respectable with such sensitive private information they get to share with us. Thanks for the video.
Damn bro! I respect what you’re doing! The hustle mindset.. going up to strangers and asking them these personal questions. Admit it or not I know every rejection hurts but still kept going!! #respect and #inspired
He's taking one for the whole team. The people who reject him have some healing to do. Sharing is caring; and there is enough increase for everyone!
Love your thoughts at the end - don't wait for the opportunity, create the opportunity. The no-hesi mindset. Every now and then its good to get a reminder, helps me to re-focus and get motivated. Keep doing what you're doing brother, it's definitely making a difference to a lot of people, and it definitely made a difference to me.

You are doing a good job with these videos. This is so motivating
Nigerians man...some of the nicest people I've ever met. Positive vibes
As someone working and hustling in tech sales, watching you roll with the rejections and take every chance you can to get a great interview is inspiring; cos that’s what sales is all about, never quitting… and it’s nice to hear that reiterated by these rich folk as well.
Hey
Nigerian brother telling his story. Love ❤️ it
Good job. Keep it up. These interviews are real, much more valuable than pre-scripted content. Keep asking more precise questions to eliminate their generic answers. Try asking true or false questions.
It speaks volumes when someone says they love their job!! ❤
I just subscribed because you were so willing to do these videos despite the rejections. THANK YOU! Was encouraged and inspired.
Wish I had at least one friend like these individuals. Even just a mentor while trying to get my mobile bbq business to grow into a food trailer etc. Hope you all here also make it to where you’re trying to go!
Thank you for making these videos!! I love them. So insightful and motivating ❤ so many interesting people in the world we can learn from. ❤

I LIKED THE DOCTOR, THE WRITER WAS COOL, NIGERIAN GUY WAS SUPER FRIENDLY AND VERY GENEROUS AS A PERSON OF COLOR I SEE THE REPRESENTATION IN CALABASAS
“Be Coachable” I love that!
I know people who are nearing retirement age or are retired, doctors, people working in finance in senior positions, one guy was head of Energizer for all of Africa... none of them made more than £20k a month, then had to pay half of that in taxes. These 100k a month people are full of it.
I like what your doing bro. I like the first gentleman you interviewed you can see he practices what he says
Thank you to the interviewer and the people willing to answer personal questions! Appreciate you!

I love the ladies advice about a lot of side hustling, that's real cause you may have to struggle for a while before you get where you reallywanna be

What nobody is mentioning is good mental health, self belief, self love, confidence, deep rooted focus and positive mindset.
Great video and great interviews. Thanks to the people that participated.
Notice how everyone who makes the money has been doing it for 5-10+ years . Some people start and quit , you need to be in it for the long haul
All I takes is one person. I am a living witness. God knows if I was much younger. Between the internet and cellphones...I would be rich. But at this time. My health is more important. But I will get stronger. I only do a minimal with my business. Until after this procedure. Once I'm back on my feet. I can think clearer. So proud of these awesome business owners. Keeping this to myself isn't a good idea, I decided to tell everyone so you guys can all benefit from this. People keep talking about Stacy Griffin but I never knew how her software works until she show me, I will forever be grateful for her strategies of making big profits in income for me......

I enjoy watching your videos because it shows that most people have worked years of their lives to achieve a comfortable Financial situation. Nothing comes easy, as most said you need to focus and work hard for it.
"Anything else that's not so cliché" the best response I've heard an interviewer give maybe ever. This is the only proper response to most interview answers.
Motivating yet depressing. I have a degree in humans services and a MBA and I sit here unemployed . I’m not sure of my own business venture. Good luck everyone!
120k law school debt forget over employed or folks interviewing me to feed their own egos. Pitch competitions, fellowships other funded opportunities. I’m climbing up and no longer depressed bc “they” won’t hire me. I started bingo games in elementary school..entrepreneur.
You will make it. I’m self employed now but I know the feeling. Buying classes, mentorship, attending masterminds and conferences is the quickest way to start, grow and scale any business. The Second Lady was very much on point about that. Also just find ways to enjoy your life because happiness is something you maintain regardless of how much you make. I make a lot more than I used to make but because I’m not at my next goal I’m anxious and sad. Now I see how you can be wealthy and also be sad. It’s because you forget where you came from and only focus on the the next carrot. You have to watch out for that. Always put things into perspective and enjoy the journey. Love yourself so that it will be easier to bounce back.
Love your content , love the interviews with regular every day people who are rich .

Very inspiring video for sure. I am broke as of now.. with no job and vision whatsoever. I hope this inspires me to keep going and not to give up.
I hope you will go to Scarsdale NY or Larchmont NY. Very affluent neighborhoods. I'd love to know how those people make their money! Great video, thanks!
This reminds me a lot about that speech Charles Barkley had, when going to black schools and 90% of kids saying they wanted to be ball players or rappers and the contrast with a white school when pretty much 8-10kids wanting that path, the rest just wanted to graduate, get a master or PhD and work in finances, be a doctor, lawyer.
That tells a lot about about the effects/results of inequalities/opportunities.
Thank you to this people to share this with us. Bcs people needs to believe it to make it. Is not unreachable... I like it. I appreciated the creator idea.
This is why our society is fucked. Everyone is about money and material things. If you don't make a ton of money but are completely happy and contempt with your life there's nothing wrong with that. Not to mention these people have to always be working, ask their kids how much daddy or mommy is around.
Right! They are probably work aholics. More money, to go buy things don't need.
That Dr spit some great knowledge! Thank you man
