Fear is a dangerous component, hindering us from taking bold steps we need in other to reach our goals. you have to contend with inflation, recession, decisions from the Feds and all. I was able to increase my portfolio by $289k in months. You have to seek for help in the right places.
I think it's not always about fear, Sometimes realistic factors discourage people from reaching their goals in life. For instance, I've tried investing in the stock market several times but always got discouraged by fluctuations of stock value

I liked them all because something each of them said to me was great advice 1st - Don’t take advice from someone who isn’t in a position you want to be in. 2nd - Assume the close. Make that person laugh - nobody’s gonna say no to someone they like. Figure it tf out. Work like a son of a b. Reinvest the money. 3rd - Believe in yourself. If you marry the wrong person it’ll take you in the opposite direction than you’re trying to go. Don’t overextend yourself. Make sure the money is working for you,not against you. God. 4th - Not being afraid to work. “Never let them see you sweat”. Don’t believe your own propaganda. Be able to walk away. God.
