    What I learn:
    1. Treat personal development as your most important job.
    2. Mindset: have a clear vision/target.
3 Health: Exercise, good nutrition and enough sleep(Healthy man wants a thousand things, the sick mant wants but one, Seneca).
    4. Wealth: Learn the rules on money games.
    5. Skills: Learn to be dicipline, learn to communicate effectively, and great coaching (focus on the process).
    6. Parked ego at the door and cut expenses ruthlessly.
    7. Build business. Build cash generating business.(He start as a windows cleaner and soon hire a guy to do the job).

I'm 1 million in debt. Before 2019 I had no debt. Long story how I got here but I'm trying my best to get out. Sometimes I feel hopeless but then I remember I can't quit, I can't give up. Literally, it's do this or die trying for me. I just invested the last of whatever I have into a business with the hope that I can turn this around. Wish me luck, because if this doesn't work, it's the end. I hope one day I would be able to tell my success story too,, but sometimes it's a lonely view from where I am. Hearing about others being able to overcome their challenges gives me hope even though I know I have a much higher mountain to climb.

Incredible timing. I was finally getting sick and tired of being sick and tired. The last decade of my life has been a living hell after badly injuring my back. I was getting too caught up in the insurance and other battles. I was getting deeper and deeper into debt. The negativity around me was getting out of hand, even from family. I reached a breaking point with the sheer amount of stress and ended up in the hospital with 2 back to back strokes in 2021. Essentially I was forced to change my thinking.
Spring of 2022 I bumped into an old colleague of mine. After describing my physical challenges/limitations from the injury, she mentioned about my mind. I began fine tuning my writing strengths/skills. At the beginning of September 2022 I set a goal for my self of making $400,000.00 in 4 years to pay all debts off. One thing I have done through out 2022 is that I have told no one what I am doing. I don't need to hear more of the negative crap.

One of the most humbling, park you ego moments for me, was when my daughter told us (hubs and I) that she really wanted that $3 item, but didn't want to ask and embarrass me or daddy by asking. That was the kick in the pants I needed. We are 3 years into our journey and not fully out. But I keep going every single day. The great thing about your story and advice is that it is mostly relatable, and solutions to your problems are what most people think about; however, we're paralised by self-doubt and worth. Most importantly, you don't seek to portray yourself genius.
    It feels awkward that:
    1. I know that I have to be disciplined.
    2. I have to put my best skill forward.
    3. Fortunately, and this has been confirmed by people around me and I've always been aware of it; that I'm good at communicating; I just have to take an advantage of it at a greater level.

I just unexpectedly stumbled upon this video in my feed today, and I must say thank you.
I loved your insight and feel pretty related to the situation you once were in, I've faced hardships but for some reason I've been stuck in life and this is the first time in a long time I feel like there's more to my life than what I had been living almost inertially. I'll be looking forward to the skillset video! 😄

Don, I feel for ya, man. Getting hurt like that can definitely do some damage to the psyche. Just keep your head up and moving forward.
On the communication front, I suggest you subscribe to Rene Rodriguez. He wrote a bestselling book called Amplify Your Influence, and puts on 3 day workshops called Amplifii, designed to help you learn how to "speak from the heart to impact and influence."
Truly one of the best investments I ever made was going to Rene's workshop.

    • @AnthonyVicino
      @AnthonyVicino  2 года назад +1

Absolutely!! Some cultures look at living with parents far differently than the average American, which I think is a shame. Living with family was powerful for me for so many reasons.

@@AnthonyVicino My moms parents lived with us. And my dads parents lived with his sister. We babysat for grandkids. Our youngest son still lives with us (23) and now I watch my grandbabies. We are all American. It may be a generational thing too because several of my friends growing up had mixtures of family living in same house. It works. Its called RESPECT.
      Cheers!
