    I know that it’s a cultural thing (and a very important and beautiful one), but all the chefs using or wearing headpieces to cover their hair are just safer when it comes to hair and hygiene in the kitchen, love that.

    I made this today and put them for 20 mins for 175 and they burnt and were raw from the inside, then I tried again with a slower oven and they came out much better, so for anyone trying don’t be discouraged if it doesn’t turn out how you want it the first or second time, just keep experimenting.

      Yes keep trying and everyone's oven is different. For me this is the most perfect recipe as I've tested out a lot

    Was so excited to taste these cupcakes! I made them, they are a bit greasy and need a little more sugar. Next time I will try backing the oil to 1/4 C and upping the sugar to 1.25 or 1.5 cups. 😊

    I have made icing so many times and it was either too sweet or not the right consistency but this icing was perfect I just added some salt since I don’t prefer it too sweet! :)

    First try at 175 did not work for me it’s a understatement when they say know your oven 🤣I tried at 325 for about 20mins and I know that is a huge difference in temperature but they came out perfect! Cant believe how delicious!!💓💓💓💓

    Hiya will be following this recipe for the first time and making it for a birthday just got some questions if you wouldn’t mind answering 🙂
    For the buttercream how early do i need to take the butter out of the fridge?
    What do i do if the buttercream is too runny? Very scared as I’ve never made butter cream before but hopefully this doesn’t happen!
    Also will be using a hand mixer for the buttercream so how long would i need to mix the butter for before adding the sugar and after ty!

      Heyy!! Since its winter now I'd say maybe 30 mins to an hour before decorating honestly depends on how cold your temperature. If ur buttercream becomes runny then u can always add it back to the fridge :) and I beat my butter for 5 to 10 minutes so it changes colour and becomes pale before I add in the sugar

    Hi sister, I made your cupcakes today and they look good, but I haven't tried them yet.
    I wanted to ask you about my egg mixture , as it looked curdled not cresmy like yours while I was beating one by one in. Is this normal?
    After adding everything, later it came together so smooth. I was just wondering about the egg section based on your experience, as I'm sure the eggs weren't spoilt too but definitely had a 'lumpy/broken' consistency. Please share, any help would be great. Thank you 😊 💓

      Omg lovely!! That could happen if the egg you used is too cold so it shocks the batter that's why its good to use room temperature eggs :)

    Salt enhances the flavour of the buttercream. Unsalted butter leaves the buttercream bland.

      Nope - they need to be stored properly in a airtight container or like the boxes I showed - if you put the cupcakes out without any coverings it will dry out

      Yes you can - you will just have less quantity of buttercream :) but consistency should be same

    This looks so delicious Zoha! 😍 I have a question regarding the buttercream, is it really sweet? I tried several buttercream before and i feel like it is always sweet and i can’t reduce the sugar as it will not be the same consistent. Help ✨

      Thank you so much :) Honestly I get you… some will probably find it sweet I do prefer it sweet however if you want to lessen sweetness you can try 1:1 ratio so 200g butter and 200g icing sugar - it does not affect the texture but quantity will be less - hope that makes sense x

      Wsalam, honestly it depends how hot it is. In winter it can sit outside on the table for so long but if its really hot then probably max an hour because of course it would melt .. x

    I made this today and they end up being too greasy, i put 1/2 cup of butter and 1/4 of oil, i don't know what went wrong with that, but thwy were really soft and moist, thanks for the recipe

      It honestly depends on your skill level and the area you are in. I am from London so a box of these cupcakes vary from £35 - £55 even sometimes depending on the design

    175 for cupcakes for 20mins, to hot and too long.
    At baking school 160c for 15 to 18mins only
    Try not burn and cooked inside and not dry

    Sister be careful of posting with ur awrah exposed or when ur beautified and with music. Remember these things are haram. For every non mehram that sees u beautified and with ur awrah exposed, you’ll get sins. And everytime anyone watches ur videos that have music you’ll also be getting a sins. In’Shaa’Allah u see this and make necessary changes.
