I literally clapped when you announced you got 11 boxes/orders👏👏👏 Anyway, might be late but congratulations to you! I’m also about to start opening my own home bakery just a side hustle for now and hoping one day I can do it as my main thing. So thank you for making this video,it inspired me to really work hard for my goal ❤😊
i'm 26 and set all my social media up almost a year ago but never launched to the public, I'm fixing to turn 27 and I hope to launch by the end of this year, thanks for the inspiration
I started a year ago. While I have had my own business before there were so many things I didn't know going in and I have had a lot of fun figuring out the ins and outs of owning a cookie business. I'm glad you have a business model in place and a goal to work towards. Before I opened my business I spent 1.5 years perfecting my recipes. I gave away hundreds of cookies to coworkers, friends, former graphic design/web clients to get their opinions on everything about the cookies and it paid off really well. That's kind of where my plan ended and I should have been looking into payment gateways, social media presence, multiple cost effective ingredient suppliers. Now with year 2 I'm playing catch up with some very important things. You can have the best product in the world but if you don't have the business model to match you will be ineffective or fail. Best of luck to you, I hope you do well!
Im from Indonesia, we are very lucky we dont need any permit whatsoever to start a home business. I also just started baking from home this year. It’s fun
I understand your POV as a business owner, but as a customer I think it's a good thing that food processing companies in particular have to follow certain rules/standards and are regularly inspected. :D
Awe I'm 33❤🎉 and for the past yr baking has been knocking. I was going to go to pastry school at 19 but then got pregnant and husband atm was getting deployed and honestly that was my time to shine but I didn't. I was afraid of turning baking to a business would make me love it less but now I'm like I should have and I want to and now it's getting past the fear of it's it the right time should I is it ok if I do ECT lol I wish us both luck ❤
this is so inspiring!! not only am i working on starting my content creation journey - i am in the process of starting up my micro bakery as a home baker! this video was so helpful to me, thank you queen!! ❤️❤️
I’m 25 and I hope to have my home bakery by next year so for everyone who is doing home baking I wish y’all all the best. P.S please give me some advice I really need it😊❤

You can do it. I started my home bakery business 3 years ago and this year end i will have my own little cafe. Its natural to be scared but always believe in your dreams and Pray thats the important one. Stay focus, be patient its hard at first promise but you can do it. 😊
@@Olie-r5sthats so cool i wanna start informing myself and organizing things now (as a 17 year old) in germany its a bit stricter but i am working on it i am soo scared tho!
I love the content. Thank you so much for sharing. I loved the what went wrong section. It was my favorite part. I like to see how you adapt and overcome your challenges! It is very inspiring.
congratulations! Loved watching this. Would you be able to make a video about the process with the cottage food operator permit and setting up the LLC etc.?
Thank you!! Actually I just use my iPhone camera 😂 The trick is to record in 4k 60fps and use cinematic mode when you can! I also used my Canon G7X mark II for a few shots, but the footage is not 4k, so I would not recommend it. iPhone cameras are great nowadays!
Hey, I’m really loving your journey - so inspiring! Can you share the Amazon products you use? Particularly the photo box set up you use to take aesthetic photos? Thank you! 🎉 cheers
great video! Congrats on starting your business! I'm looking at becoming a home baker too but I'm not so sure how to go about licensing and registering my business in Canada. It would be lovely if you could share what and what exactly you had to do to get your business up and running
Oh wow!! I’m from Newark, New Jersey that’s great you are starting. I now live in SC but I’m starting my baking channel too ❤ Good Luck. New Subscriber🎉
Hi! Wow it’s amazing.its my dream to have a bakery but don’t have enough money to rent a place for bakery. Your idea of home bakery get me interested to. Would you mind if you can tell the steps on how to start home bakery? Thank you
I'm glad I've got time on my side for now. I'm 21 and I really want to start a home bakery business but really all I have is my logo my name and my baking skills..... I'm struggling because I work 35+ hours so I'm kind of just blinded by stress
That’s just like me...having a STEM degree and realizing that life is tough enough without working way too hard in a career i don’t want, just for the money. Now I’m pursuing my lifelong dream of opening a bakery, starting with a small delivery service from home. I hope you can figure out what you want and live a happy life with no regrets. 💖
i have no experience in baking, but im very much willing to learn. im just scared that the cupcakes wont taste as good as those from bakeries, since they are more delicious than homemade ones for some reason. i would love to have a cupcake or cake business (as a side hustle tho).
Practice makes perfect! I recommend watching preppy kitchen john really explains well and patient! Also try diffrent things, use a smaller batch to test so you dont waste ingredients aswell
Hi I am 17 years old and I have been baking since I was 13. I always wanted to start this but I have some self doubts like if people will actually like it or not. I am not confident enough about my baking skills honestly

I’m 27 and want to start a home bakery 😆
Do you have to have a separate kitchen to get a cottage food operator permit?
Not sure if it depends per state, but you don't need a separate kitchen in NJ
Do you or anyone in the chat use a great food cost app, if yes , what app do you use for bakers?
Hey love! How do you ship them out? 🥰
Hi! I don't ship baked goods at the moment, but I heard that you can if you make them in a commercial kitchen! Might also be able to with a cottage food permits in some states :)
How do I place an order?
you inspired me :)
What kind of licensing is required with a home bakery?
This is really helpful but me am just having hindrance from no support from parents, I don't even have a phone for IG or Facebook, I don't know how to do social media, plus am just having conflict of interest cus I love fashion, baking and event I don't know I need help making a choice plus am scared of failing & all that
