Weird question cuz I’m new. I’m sure coil overs are focused on performance. But can you make them ride just as comfortable as stock suspension for city driving?
Great question! Many coilovers, like ours at Neotech, offer adjustable dampening, so you can fine-tune the ride to suit your needs. You can dial them in for a smoother, more comfortable ride for city driving while still maintaining performance when you need it. So, it’s all about finding that sweet spot!
That’s how a dude got state reffed for thousands of dollars in Cali on a completely stock exhaust with one of these cars. Every cop that upholds that shit is not worth the air they breathe or the dirt they walk on.
Dude, pretty sure I had the same Lamborghini Countach poster that you have above the pennzoil sign. My sister’s boyfriend gave it to me in the early 90’s when he was trying to grow up. Rad freaking poster!
I was at the races in Indy, wish I would have known you were there!! I was at him those Hyundai whoopin on every one. They were the only cars on the track with the sickest sounding blow offs
Listening to your argument for a new car is hilarious seeing as my only modes of transportation in New England are 1) super sport motorcycle, 2) broken street bike, or 3) RWD German performance coupe older than I am
Did I miss the video when you installed a Kline on the RS? Interestingly we have a similar garage. I have a factory manual F430 Spider and an 997.1 GT3 RS. I have full Kline system on my F430 and I'm thinking of installing one on the GT3 RS. How do you like the Kline on the RS?
Meh, I am part of the wheels, full bolt-ons and stock suspension crew. I like the way it ride, and it's only maybe like .5 inches higher than I would want it to be if I had suspension on it. Lowering springs and Bilsteins coming at some point, but I got two kids and a stay at home mom to provide for so. It'll come eventually.
So the Elantra N that’s been in the background for like 6 months, and changing anything on a Hyundai is potentially voiding the warranty. They have this nice little quote scattered throughout the manual that states anything changed has to be the "same spec" all the way down to the tires speed rating and compounds.
They’re probably going to play fast and loose with a lot of that kind of thing since he is who he is, which is fine for me personally, but it does kinda suck because there are going to be people who’s minds are possibly changed about Hyundai due to this and then get screwed. There was the guy who got state reffed in Cali on a completely factory exhaust, and Hyundai was also reported to have pulled a Toyota GR stunt and refused to honor a warranty after an owner used their sports car as as sports car.
🧢 I have an N lowered on Eibach springs, wider wheels and tires, K&n intake filter. No issues getting suspension warranty work. I’ve had both front wheel hubs and axles replaced. Just depends on how you present yourself and build a bond with your service advisor. Maybe slide them a 20 or something after an oil service.
I love my fifteen52 wheels except removing the lug cover. Let me know if you figured out a trick! They seem to get "stuck" and even when knocking them with a rubber mallet, they don't want to pop loose.
Awesome, man. 🤙 I too am in this exact spot right now. 25 years of always in project cars. Never in something too new. The only new car I've owned was in 2006. My friend caught it on fire about a year later though. Fun times. Now I'm in my 40's thinking it would be really nice to have a new commuter. I was looking at the Elantra N, but my new work commute for the next two years is two hours away, so it's hybrid time. Going with the 2025 Civic sport touring hatchback. Not super fun, but like you, I have fun things at home. Hope you enjoy yours. Thanks for the video. 🤙
Hey Vin, I'm surprised you haven't epoxied your garage floor. I did mine myself with the rustoleum kit ($250) and it made such a nice difference. Would really complete your whole clean garage asthetic 👌
@9:13 Wow, that wheel design still making the rounds all over the world. Its an old design, well in my view from school day era, named TSW Imola sold by Tiger Smith Wheels in South Africa back in the day. Thanks Vin, you triggered a memory.
I'm surprised they don't make something to attach to the bottom of the strut to utilize the factory damper adjustment work with the knob on the bottom of the coil overs
Usually a Hyundai hater BUT I’ve never actually driven one. Just know they’re not known as the most reliable cars. As always Vin builds the car tastefully and highlighted the real reason u cop the Hyundai the 10/100k warranty 🔥 super clean can’t wait to see hear it on track in non so stock form

I wasn't sure when you showed the wheels, but I actually like how it turned out. And I have never once in my life taken a 2nd look at a Hyundai, lmao.
Brakes look sweet. Congrats on the new ride.
You can make it even sleeker by putting the N-Line trunk with the duckbill or the vanilla trunk with an aftermarket duckbill. ;)
Loved this! Super creative way of filming a reveal. Lots of fun 👍🏻👍🏻
Yo the fitment on the 92 is PERFECT 🔥🔥
Dude, pretty sure I had the same Lamborghini Countach poster that you have above the pennzoil sign. My sister’s boyfriend gave it to me in the early 90’s when he was trying to grow up. Rad freaking poster!
Production level is way up now. Great job!!
Ok Vin, we all want to know how much Hyundai hooked you up on the MSRP….😊
well if i consider what i value a dedicated video on my channel about a product, i would say i paid over MSRP.
@ 👌🏻
Dude the Elantra looks SICK! Hyundai has come such a long way and their N models are super nice.
Watched every one of Vins video's from the start of the channel & NEVER been disappointed!! Keep up the awesome work much love from the U.K ❤🇬🇧👍
Adro stuff is so nice, actually liking the car choice, cool to switch it up something not a lot of people are doing
This dudes shadow sponsored so this won’t apply to him
@@da-yh3uy exactly what I’m thinking
If you're not sure if they'll void the warranty for a mod, either don't do the mod, or revert it back to stock before you bring it to them.
Yoooo. My dads booth was 3 down from this!! I didn’t even know it was yours!!! That awesome
I love my fifteen52 wheels except removing the lug cover. Let me know if you figured out a trick! They seem to get "stuck" and even when knocking them with a rubber mallet, they don't want to pop loose.
Imma say it's a Hyundai Elantra N! Finally! These needs some more recognition in the tuning scene.
If you watched this video and waited for the reveal, you are officially Vin´s friend.
Awesome, man. 🤙
I too am in this exact spot right now.
Glad to see your finally a real youtuber, got that NordVPN sponsorship. Should be a plaque for that.
Hey Vin, I'm surprised you haven't epoxied your garage floor. I did mine myself with the rustoleum kit ($250) and it made such a nice difference. Would really complete your whole clean garage asthetic 👌
It has a clear epoxy but looks like crap
@vin_tra hey well at least you don't have to go through the painful degreasing stage. Do it for the Tube, Vin 😁
Sick! Mate congrats on the podium! Great choice considering the racing pedigree
@9:13 Wow, that wheel design still making the rounds all over the world. Its an old design, well in my view from school day era, named TSW Imola sold by Tiger Smith Wheels in South Africa back in the day. Thanks Vin, you triggered a memory.
Looks really clean which is what we expected from you. Nice job!
you built the car exactly how I wanted too/would have if I could!!! Looks amazing!
Dang dude! That thing looks mint with those mods 🔥
We gotta keep it simple! Love all the Bolt-on. I actually have an Elantra hybrid and yeah it takes me from point A to point B! I might throw some carbon fiber, coil and rotiform wheels on it just for the sake of cosmetic! 😅
Super dope that the big wing are coming back and cool again.
How is the is300 sportcross doing? I’ll forgot you got it.
