is wood in your eye as bad as metal? had metal dug out twice(drill shaving and a grinder spark.. both BAD!)
Actually wood is worse because it causes infection far faster than metal.
I got a piece of metal lodged in my eye after sticking my head out of the window on a steam train, YEOW!!
I had to go to an optometrist to get it pulled out with a tiny tiny pair of tweezers.

Your daughter is the best! I've only seen her on a few videos (New to your channel) but I definitely see her being a big part of the YT channel at some point or even having her own channel.
When my oldest daughter was old enough I gave her one of my old cameras. She had such a wonderful time being able to take anything else I never thought important. Now as she is in college, her photos from then are semi brilliant. It's a kids perspective for sure but she was able to capture moments I never could or would not have thought about. I applaud you for giving your children a choice to intentionally be involved with your excursions. It's refreshing to see this (man after my own heart) I'd be honored to have you "camp" with me and my mates if we are either over in your neck of the woods or you visit the US. Great stuff, keep recording everything. It's all GOLD! 🏆🏅

Whether it's a pogo crutch or hazardous environment respirator that I'll never need... knock on wood... I think, i not only watch and enjoy the videos i also subject my daughters and fiance to his entertaining instructables. That whistlin sound the campfire made scared me. Why.
There is a story about some people camping, and they made a campfire.
Suddenly they heard a whistlin sound from it, and then the whole camp exploded.
What happened was that they had built the campfire on top of an old WW2 bomb. And the fire heated the explosive that then started to whistle, and then explode.

but with that, watch out for your radiator above the plastic stone guard. the rad hangs down and you will break it if you clock a rock or just hit the ground in a mud hole. i had to make a steel plate to protect mine. besides that, they are great off road.

That looks just like one of our weekends in Oklahoma. It's free and it's fun and no one is around to tell you to put your mask on. Why wear a mask around people I live with...or for any other reason? That is what is great about camping. More is sucks the better! Can`t handle it, go home and scare cats! Best thing about camping, good and bad, tons of stories to have to share with the kids and grandkids. No fun now, laugh about it 20 years later. God bless from the US of A! How can I say this with out being offensive ... Ah, screw it. I'll just be offensive. :) When commenting on a non-U.S. video, you might need to spell out North Dakota. I suspect it's not the best known of the 50 states. But it least it's not like my state. I have to say I'm from the Seattle area (instead of Washington State) or people have me on the wrong side of the country.

Next time you're there, you can install a woven willow mat floor and roof, some PV power, a pump to lift lake water and drop it into the bottom of a heat exchanger, a copper kettle, a stone stove on which to heat that copper kettle, a length of pipe from kettle top to heat exchanger and maybe a sign saying "It's just fuel for the motorboat, honest!"
I love any reason to spray cats with a hose. It’s also fun spaying wife’s with the hose but far more dangerous and can only be done safely every few years. Looking forward to wife spray with a hose trap you come up with
