I'll give John's credit for expanding the GL mythos with all the different color rings but I just enjoy his _Flash_ run so much more since he really made Wally West feel like a real person along with really expanding his rogues gallery. Seriously, not too many writers have the power to have the main hero side-lined for an entire year and devote that time to explore his villains.
Chris Claremont X-Men, Ed Brubaker Cap and Frank Miller Daredevil are my favorite comic runs and they're all on this list. The one thing missing for me is Mike Mignola's Hellboy which I adore.
TheRedDragon ....Ehhh The Bendis Ultimate Spider-Man Comics are overrated and they permanently ruined Marvel's best written superhero, Doug Moench's Moon Knight. To this day, what Bendis did to Moon Knight in the Ultimate Spider-Man comics is pretty much the new "normal" Moon Knight we see in the comics being released now. A shame Marvel let him ruin their most Dark, Depressing, and thought provoking character in comics. (he wasn't suppose to have multiple personality disorder nor be "over the top insane". He was ONLY meant to be "Shakespear's Hamlet crazy"). I guess they did it since "no one" wants to feel depressed or force to think when they read. They just want the fart jokes and dumb action scenes where the hero always win, with a story that doesn't take itself seriously.

While I like Grant Morrison's _Batman_ run (the Club of Villains is such a good idea), I found his _Animal Man_ and _Doom Patrol_ runs to be more interesting and having actual long lasting effects on the characters and how they worked within the DCverse. PS... how could you ignore the _Iron Man_ run by David Michelanie and Bob Layton? They made me a fan of Iron Man before RDJ did.
Walt Simonson's Thor run is the source for half the ideas for Thor 3:Ragnarok and one third of the whole Thor-Nidavellir-Stormbreaker story in the Infinity Wars movie. I would've thought that would get more attention.

Carl Bark’s Donald Duck and Scrooge McDuck comics, which were so influential that they inspired both Lucas and Spielberg in creating Indiana Jones and Osamu Tezuka in creating Astro Boy and are the best adventure stories you’ll ever find. Alan Moore’s Swamp Thing run, the original 300 issue Hellblazer run and the new 52 Justice League Dark run (kinda one of the only new 52 runs that I actually liked) are all amazing.( as you can see I’m a big fan of the Vertigo characters)

Chris Claremont and John Byrne run on X men is an absolute must . If you love the dark Batman I recommend the 4 issue run on Detective comics by Todd McFarlane.

Batman Knightfall, the whole entire saga, Spider-Man torment, Spider-Man Craven’s last hunt, X-Men, mutant massacre, Batman, return of the dark Knight, Batman hush
I own the captain America winter soldier book and it is such a great read, one of my favorite Marvel comics for sure. The Thanos Initiative is also a really great one.
David MIchelinie/Bob Layton's run on Iron Man (includes the Armor War arc) Garth Ennis' Hellblazer and Preacher Wolfman & Perez' New Teen Titans Christopher Priest's run on Black Panther Dwayne McDuffie's initial run on Static
With you on Daredevil hard to pick one. Id also go with Hickmans Fantastic Four, Bendis Ultimate Spider-man, Johns Green Lantern, BKVs Runaways and Snyders Batman (love Morrisons run but will always take Black Mirror and Court of Owls ahead of it)
There's more to comics than DC and Marvel. How about Jeff Smith's "Bone" saga (which won every award a graphic novel can win and then some), 80's era "Love and Rockets" by the Hernandez Brothers, a few choice Will Eisner stories, "Ghost World", or Alison Bechdel's "Fun Home"? How about Carl Barks's Donald Duck/Scrooge McDuck stories? If you want to stick to superheroes, what about the original run of "Spawn" or Matt Wagner's villainous "Grendel"? I'll also add a vote for one of my very favorite (though quite obscure) series of all time, Matt Howarth's "Keif Llama" books.
My suggestion : - Uncanny X-Force by Rick Remender - Hawkeye by Matt Fraction and David Aja - Superior foes of spiderman by Nick Spence - Iron Fist by Ed Brubaker, Fraction - Runaways by Bryan Vaughan - New Mutants, especially the demon bear saga - Vision by Tom King
Garth Ennis’s run with the Punisher Preacher Jason Aaron’s Thor Jason Aaron’s Hulk (at least the first volume) Jamie Delano’s Hellblazer Jeph Loeb and Jim Lee’s Hush Scott Snyder and Greg Capullo’s Batman Geoff Johns Run with GL
You like Daredevil so much, yet you don't include the series that paid homage to it with Eastman and Laird's Mirage Studios' Volume 1 (1984-1993) of TMNT, which culminated with City at War.
Grant Morrison's run on Doom Patrol is pretty good.

Not a single mention of Geoff Johns' Green Lantern run?? Shocking.

I own the captain America winter soldier book and it is such a great read, one of my favorite Marvel comics for sure. The Thanos Initiative is also a really great one.
David MIchelinie/Bob Layton's run on Iron Man (includes the Armor War arc)
Garth Ennis' Hellblazer and Preacher
Wolfman & Perez' New Teen Titans
Christopher Priest's run on Black Panther
Dwayne McDuffie's initial run on Static
6:24 You just got a new sub. Daredevil is my fav comic character
My suggestion :
- Uncanny X-Force by Rick Remender
- Hawkeye by Matt Fraction and David Aja
- Superior foes of spiderman by Nick Spence
- Iron Fist by Ed Brubaker, Fraction
- Runaways by Bryan Vaughan
- New Mutants, especially the demon bear saga
- Vision by Tom King
That Hawkeye run is completely underrated
Ann Nocenti and JRJRs run of DAREDEVIL it’s way underrated
Wow, fantastic video. Thanks a lot!
Could also consider Fraction and Aja Hawkeye or North and Henderson Squirrel Girl
Great stuff. Thanks for sharing
Garth Ennis’s run with the Punisher
Preacher
Jason Aaron’s Thor
Jason Aaron’s Hulk (at least the first volume)
Jamie Delano’s Hellblazer
Jeph Loeb and Jim Lee’s Hush
Scott Snyder and Greg Capullo’s Batman
Geoff Johns Run with GL
You like Daredevil so much, yet you don't include the series that paid homage to it with Eastman and Laird's Mirage Studios' Volume 1 (1984-1993) of TMNT, which culminated with City at War.
Grant Morrison’s Batman should be top 3. Too good.
