P/S: You need not do the linkage manually. The VEP-TnG linkage is done automatically after you have validated, acknowledged, and have uploaded (on vepams.jpj.gov.my) a photo showing your car number plate with RFID tag that’s pasted on your headlamp/windscreen. Current waiting time is taking at least one week or more.. To add, at the point of your initial application submission, you should already have your TnG eWallet account registered using your NRIC + Phone number (SG NRIC for Singaporeans or MY NRIC for Malaysians). For phone number, either SG / MY will works fine. In case anyone have already used your Passport instead of NRIC, suggest that you contact TnG to make amendment that’ll allow the VEP-TNG linkage later.

My VEP done in 2019 expiring in Dec this year. What are the steps to 'renew' my VEP because there is no "renew" option/button in the website. I read from somewhere to 'renew' we have to deregister and apply again? Thanks
I doubt deregistering can be done through the portal "I know the button's there". If I understand correctly, the confirmation slip you received after you submitted your renewal application, is meant for “acknowledgment” of your submission.
