I am not a mechanic, I do work in the automotive industry. Im really loving all your content. Super funny dude, great editing, and awesome skills. Keep up the great work
I fix a lot of "Dead" Busses for customers - there's a certain satisfaction with being able to bring big working vehicles back into useful service. In my case I fix rusted out bits, plus the heavy mechanical stuff nobody else much wants to touch - loads of bus operators are starting to see that the older, better built models they own are very worth repairing as the new ones are crazy money/a bit crap in general. So I get to play with their older bus.. Similar theme, different methods - keeping stuff rolling instead of in the junkyard. Love the Vids, Mr Bendin.
Awesome, glad I found this, I’ve done this same work for 10 years, and was very good at it, but never been at in in long time, 15 years, and like your videos!👍
Devin, your videos are tops! And thanks a ton for putting these out. I worked with a suspension guy who was from a frame shop years ago, but he’s long since retired. We called him ‘Camelback’, (long story lol). But seriously, work like this is a lost art….so glad you’re sharing this! 👍
I really enjoy seeing you work cause you my dear sir area master at this. And have a beautiful understanding of how things are going to work. Please keep it up with much love!!!!!!
Shoot. I used to have to pull motor mounts, exhaust, fuel tanks, and drive shafts when I did the bending. And yes. It's easy to crumple an X member. Especially the old Peterbuilt ones. Dropped a trans in the pit bending on a truck. Didn't know the flywheel housing was broken when it was towed in. Keep it straight.
Nice job, I sure do not miss working in body shop. You make it look so much easier than I remember anything being. But in the rust belt everything rusts and cracks when you pull.
Watching you work is always fun. It seems this is the case when watching a masters art unfold, pardon the pun. I am certain you have more work than than you could want. Just where is your shop so that I can get on the list, no matter how many months I’d have to wait.
In regard to driving the trucks after initial bending to check for the steel memory to comfortably settle, does the frame/chassis take yet another settling when 50k lbs. gets applied on uneven terrain ?
I’d like to see you and Weird Beard do a collab, I don’t think he’s ever done big truck stuff like you do but he’s a genius like you and you I bet would figure it out quick
I wonder how many yahoo's watch these videos and think they can build their own frame straightening machine just like this guy. I bet they think they discovered the million dollar plan lol. Great work buddy! Awesome to watch a pro
So that's how you do it if you don't have a big dozer with a winch, some big snatch blocks , lots of grade 8 chain, and some heavy shit for anchors. Almost looks easier your way
@@shanegaree101you night wanna private message him and ask so ppl.dont spam.his shop its happened many times before even tho he's a decent dude ppl will.still spam him.
I have a request. I worked on semis when i was younger. I would love for your viewers to see just how physically demanding what you do is. Love your content but i know personally how hard what you do is. It takes an artist's eye, i never could do body, i stuck to mechanics
Hello I was wondering where your shop is located? I've been watching some of your videos and I think you are probably one of the better mechanics out there and would consider going to your shop for most of my major maintenance
One of these videos popped up in my recommended almost a month ago and I watched so many of these since. Def a skill that's acquired not in a school.
Lolol same here😊
Absolutely. School makes good students, the field makes craftsmen.

Great content, showing how this is done is a service, most people just cannot fathom what it takes to straighten a pretzel.

There has been times when I wanted to have this sort of thing done to my back to get that bastard straightened out.
Awesome channel! Teaching the world something. I’m hooked 😎
Being diesel mechanic from Australia it makes my head spin seeing the steering box on the left rail 😂🤯👍

MAD SKILLS PARTNER !!!
Devin you have a very unique skill set. From turning wrenches to straighten frames. Is there anything you and Bob can't fix?
Damn you’re good
As a 35 yr year body and frame man, I can relate to the trams, do they have laser alignment for the frame rack on the vehicle's you work on?
They do but they crazy expensive
I wonder how many yahoo's watch these videos and think they can build their own frame straightening machine just like this guy. I bet they think they discovered the million dollar plan lol. Great work buddy! Awesome to watch a pro
This is impressive

Did you have to discount the rear engine mount & bell housing?
Still lookin' round for a new Bob
Tough one dude
So how many tons of pulling force can that frame machine apply for straightening?
Do you normally work alone when working on frames also I notice your shop is always empty so do you work evenings?
Good info bro
Master at ya trade mate. Respect from Australia 👊
Sir that wasn't a 3/4" allen key. It was 19mm. Everything is now ruined. Throw the whole truck away and start over.
Working man
Keep it up bud

Has Bob lost weight?
Looks like he still has all his digits,at least all that he was born with.
Eating avocados seems kind of wimpy. Some places they call them ALLIGATOR PEARS" . Sounds more manly.
Hi don't over pull 😂
How can you have 45 years experience when you're 45?
He was born bendin 😎
He said he was trained by a guy with 45yrs experience.
@4:41
Semi😂
Sometimes I wonder if Bob is a homosexual?
Sudo Sexual: He is aroused by UNIX Systems. Others say that Bob is a time traveler. We will never know................
@@TechNWRO shi# I never thought about the time travel narrative 🤔
