Piper PA-28-140 Cherokee | KSDL | Crash Site

This time around, I'm flying with the owner of a 1977 Piper PA28-140 Cherokee. This aircraft is upgraded with a 160hp STC. The owner wanted me to change the power to display 100% on the JPI engine monitor because 160 hp reads as 120%. So I was adjusting the throttle for that 100% and for CHTs. We caught wind of an accident that had happened the previous day at an airstrip just north of Scottsdale called Red Creek Airstrip. The aircraft involved in the accident was an Aviat Husky that had nosed over during the landing. Luckily, no one was hurt, and the occupants were rescued shortly after the crash.
