Hi Mark. Sorry one more question, have you done the lesson yet where you demonstrate putting the route onto your Garmin Zumo XT, or have I missed that one please? Many thanks
Coming soon! It was going to be the next video, but I'm going to do a follow up video on the other question you asked me first. If you would like to reach out via email, you can get me here: forms.gle/GBtKgENTybM5Kwn57
Hi Mark, thanks for the great videos, they’re very helpful. Once you combine the two routes together does it automatically rename that route for you or do you edit it manually please? Keep up the good work!
Hi Paul, Good question. As I type this, I don't know the answer, but it's worth doing a video on and I have been in two minds as to what to do next. So the next video will be one that's inspired by you and I'll get onto it today. Cheers, Mark :)
Each time I have done it, it put the two routes together and keeps the way points and route shapers of each route and then re-numbers it all. It also fills in the difference if the end point of one route is different to the start route of another. I'll make another video soon demonstrating this.
If the start point of the second route was not the same as the end point of the first route, how would MRA deal with that - would it create an extra bit of routing to make a link?
Micheal, that's a really good question and I'm about to make a short video about it. I'll post it in the next day or two and give credit in the video to you.
So, after doing a bit of digging. If the two points are at different locations, MyRouteApp automatically fills in the gap. I made two different routes to test it. As I said before, I'll do another video about this soon.

Thanks Mark, very helpful, can't wait for the next one! 👍👍
In the next video, I'll be showing how to join two routes with different start and end points :)
@@btcbiker Thanks Mark.

Does the new combined route overwrite either the TR1 or TR2 file, or does it create a completely new one?
