I wish they put the ensemble in that bigger box with more reverb parameters and the drive from the Nightsky and the ability to change the converters like DIG! Big format reverb. I wrote to Strymon suggesting they try doing that someday. They are very receptive to ideas like that.

That’s a great idea! I love how it sounds great but also how simple it is to use, but then again a more “expanded” version of it would be really fun to tinker with for sure. I’d try one out! What would you call it?

@@Duskmos I would call it Strymon FireSky if asked haha. In keeping with their Nightsky, Bluesky Bigsky, thing. I would want control over early reflections, HPF, LPF, 3 switch converter, Modulation depth and speed with depth able to go all the way to zero so you get white noise build up in the tail like on the original 224, multiple reverb algos with decay, pre-delay and pitch as well as the Ensemble switch. Lastly and most importantly the drive from Nightsky in 3 positions, Pre, post aaaaaand inside the feedback path of the delays in the same position as the modulation. That would be my ultimate Strymon reverb. Thick lushness with vintage 12 bit and ADM conversion sounds.
