  • Well the OTO Boum is already proving indispensable. I am running my trusty Vongon Polyphrase into it on dual stereo (unsynced) and warming/compressing it with Boum. I like to add saturation to any of my pedals, and being able to do this in stereo is a treat. The piano is Teletone Golden Age Grand and it is a glorious sounding VST.

Thank you! For real Polyphrase makes me feel relaxed too. It's almost like a meditation tool.

Thanks so much! These two are at the start and end of my stereo pedalboard now and I just zone out playing things through them all the time. 🥰

Thanks! A lot of the time I'm sorta drifting into a sleepy state of contentment with Polyphrase. I really wanted something to warm and grit it up and I think this is finally the thing. 😀

yeah, can you please make an hour long version of this so I can put it on when reading or falling asleep. Absolutely beautiful.

This is the video that will make me buy a Boum.

@@GiantPupil wow thanks! Happy to be a shopping enabler. It's really cool. Most of the time I'll use it for saturation and filtering but it has a whole bunch of nice dirty sounds.

Non hot take... you absolutely blew this out of the water. So beautiful and solitary.

Oh man, thanks! I slip in and out of concentration when I'm using Polyphrase because it sorta does all my work for me. Now that Boum is in the mix, I'm basically going to get a bit too much saturation going and put that on everything. 😅🥰

beatiful. what are you using to play the VST with? and where is the saturation coming from? subscribed!

Thank you so much! I use an Arturia Keylab Essential 88 as the controller. I like the weight of the keys and I wanted the full size keyboard. Logic Pro is my DAW though I use Ableton a bit too. My interface is MOTU Ultralite mk5. The VSTs like the Arturia stuff and Spitfire have their own plugins. The Teletone ones use Kontact. The saturation is coming from the OTO Boum in this case, but I often use my Analog Heat mk2 for saturation. Sometimes I'll also add a bit more in the mastering chain from Soundtoys Decapitator etc...
