My 7 year old LOVES you, Molly. She has watched every single one of your videos at least twice. The one where you eat the snacks from Japan is her favorite. She asks me every morning if there’s a new Molly video. You are making her lockdown tolerable.
The Swan and Dolphin are also great options for adults who want to stay on property but don't want a big Disney feel. The rooms at those resorts are completely free of hidden Mickeys.
Plus, staying at Disney owned resorts and flying into Orlando, you get the Magic Express for free which in my opinion is very much part of the whole experience and well worth it! =)
I don’t think one can go wrong at ANY resort. Staying on property is definitely “the bomb”! Thanks, Molly for a fun video. All your answers are great!❤️🤍🖤
Molly you should show off all your ears in a video !! Like what park you got them at and your favorites , what ones go with every outfit etc !! 🖤🖤#teamfiddlefaddle
I think that Yacht and Beach club is quite a good option for teens because of how huge the pool and is and it’s not full of kids and teens can go and walk over to the Boardwalk and eat over there together and it’s very short if they need to get back to the resort. Hollywood and Epcot are very close and Hollywood can appeal to teens as it has the newest/scariest rides.
Watching the Hollywood studios fireworks from my room in Gran Destino tower while playing Star Wars air horns theme on my phone is one of my favorite Disney memories
We had two lake view rooms in the 50's building at Pop in March; they were standard rooms but they were INCREDIBLE. We watched the Epcot and HS fireworks from out rooms every night! Plus it's on the SkyLiner so transportation was so easy. And it was value priced....highly recommend!
I stayed at Caribbean beach at we were right by the main lobby and when we got home I sat in the hammock on the little beach and watched the Epcot fireworks! It was such a good view plus I got lucky and was right next to my room 😁
I think the Contemporary/BLT if you’re DVC is amazing for teens and kids and has all sorts of stuff to keep you occupied- walk to magic kingdom, amazing pools at both, access to the beach, rooftop lounge to watch the fireworks, and arcade at the contemporary :)
My family has had very good experiences at the Fort Wilderness Cabins as well....especially in the fall or when the weather is a bit cooler. Love all the decorations around the campground for Halloween.
Great Q&A! Good to see the random section back at the end. I thought it was funny that your two favourite resorts are the ones that you also suggest are best for people that are not into Disney!
Hands down best for families is a cabin at Ft. Wilderness. Teens can have some freedom there and can certainly handle navigating the bus system between parks. There’s a ferry to magic kingdom. Many, many activities for kids, teens and adults. My family went there when I was a child and it was the first time I rode a horse. It’s just fantastic.
Buckey list - please take a trip to Tokyo Disneyland. We have visited Disney world, Disneyland california, Paris Disneyland, but Tokyo is our favourite and I would love to see your reaction. Disney always gives you a happy tear or lump in your throat, but the cast members and experiences at both Tokyo parks moved me to the occasional ugly sob. 😄 keep making excellent videos molly
So with the question about a non Disney lover I offer up my husband who was beyond a novice. We stayed at AOA in the cars section. He loved the skyliner and Epcot. And actually loved the attention to detail and the customer service at check-in sealed the deal. So don't be afraid to do a big themed place for those folks, you may be surprised. PS Molly you made the whole prep for our trip so much easier cause he really loved your reviews of the parks. Thank you.
Another good fireworks view is the little beach by the ferry in the wilderness campsite. We watched them there when I was in fourth grade because my sister is sensitive to loud noises.
Fingers crossed so badly for my October trip! Hoping so much that Disney is open and the hotels! I’ve watched so many of your videos and want to try and match your fast pass record 😀
💖💖💖 'you don't need that kind of negativity in your life'!! 😂 As far as mousekeeping...my kid loves to come back that night and see how they have arranged his plushies. They usually do something cute and we always appreciate it!
@@manimalavemireddy176 I am planning on using and abusing both Molly and DFB to absolutely Kill a Disney trip in a few years time. Will be travelling from Australia so gonna be mega expensive! Saving up now! Any extra tips you can give me?!
THANK YOU for such entertaining videos to watch during quarantine!! We had to put off this Summer's vacation until next Summer. Your videos are awesome ❤❤
We skip mouse keeping because we are passholders and go often for a 2 or 3 night trip so the room doesn’t get to dirty. Plus I like having the extra money to buy some mouse ears or a T-shirt. If I was going for a week I don’t think I would skip it.
port orleans riverside we stay at a lot and thought we were going to be there june 7th for our trip.. but doesn't look like we will be going this june.. maybe next year!
Just like always I’m planning a trip in my head but i know its al way to expensive but I’ll keep dreaming that one day i will be enable to go 😇☺️ I’m from the Netherlands so that makes it a little hard to go sadly
Love your videos! May I suggest you write a WDW travel guide book? Then all your knowledge and expertise would be in one place! ...then we can get it on kindle and be all set!!
Our plan was to do every Disney park in the world in the space of a year. We should be in Disneyland Paris right now. 😔Did WDW last September & December. Due to go to California, Aulani, Tokyo, Hong Kong & Shanghai in September. Not sure if we’ll even be able to travel outside the UK by then. Definitely going to look at the article with your mouse ears!
LOVE you Molly! You’re right, anyone who’s not a Disney fanatic should say goodbye. Jk. That last question made me laugh sooo hard! 😂🤣 Thank you for another magical video. ❤️
I'm early, hi Molly!! Never been to Disney World but I would love to go and stay at Animal Kingdom Lodge or Art of Animation (I'm a teenager and I'm a kid at heart lol)
I’m a teen too. AKL is the BEST . I’ve been fortunate to go to Disney 8 times and many different resorts but AKL is the bets especially with a savanna view. You can see the animals from your balcony!
Miss you,MOLLY! Who can't wait for Walt Disney World to open?? We can't!!! Vacation Club members since '94....so many good times there. Moved to FL from KY just to enjoy more WDW...praying they don't keep us out because we have reached that golden time of life...retirement! But we are active and walk everywhere...still ride rides. Will be very unfair if we get banned. Talk about a riot!!! Take care and keep informing us about anything Disney. BTW: You look great today! Such a pretty girl!!
Riviera wouldn't be bad for non Disney lovers too. The art is quite subtle in most places. (But make sure you get a good deal - Riviera is priced too high relative to other resorts. I enjoyed it and the CMs were fantastic, but it's high.)
I love all your videos! Me and my husband are going to Disney in the fall (hopefully) and we would love to check out some other resorts! How would you incorporate a skyliner or monorail crawl into your Disney vacation? Especially if your just going a week?
All the hints and tips are great, how do they pertain to those of us coming from overseas? I am thinking of getting an AP for next year (we had to cancel this years) trip. Especially for WDW. It has a lot of benefits and isn't a lot more expensive than a 7 day park hopper ticket. With the food and merch discounts as well as their resort offerings it could be a good deal. QUESTION: Can we book fast passes, change restaurant bookings and upgrade rooms, if they become available through the app IF, we use a travel agent?
Do you have to make THREE advanced fast pass reservations and use all THREE before you can start booking fast passes whilst you are in the queue? Could I do this for example... 1st day AK ONE advanced reservation for Safari then fast pass in the queue 2nd day AK ONE advanced reservation for Avatar then fast pass in the queue 1st day MK ONE advanced reservation for Peter Pan then fast pass in the queue 2nd day MK ONE advanced reservation for Seven Dwarfs then fast pass in the queue Etc Would you need to make 3 advanced reservations and then cancel the next two immediately after using the first one? Hope my question makes sense!
Trying to plan a trip for Christmas 2022 ( I know very early) but what is the best way to get the best value trying to book a deluxe resort such as animal kingdom lodge?
We've never considered a deluxe resort because we're never in the room except to sleep. We go from rope drop to fireworks so I'm tired enough to sleep on a rock most nights. Actually I'm getting too old for this. Maybe a Hoveround and a deluxe resort next time ! lol
We did our Disney honeymoon at PO:French Quarter in 2018. It was wonderful!! The grounds are beautiful and it's not a huuuuge resort, and even though there were lots of multi-generational families there, we didn't feel like we were overwhelmed by children (don't get me wrong, kids are great, but it's not very romantic to be surrounded by tired, hot, cranky kids all the time).
Just an FYI, non-US guests are charged for adding offers to an existing booking because they essentially cancel and rebook your holiday. I’m from the UK and just learned this
I wish I could show you my cute outfit I have planned for our HS day. I found some super cute Toy Story themed leggings on Amazon and also a set of Toy Story ears from Etsy.
Hi Molly, thanks for all those info! About the mousekeeping, is it possible (for a 14 days stay) to ask not to have mousekeeping for the 1st week and still get agift card? Or i do we have to ask for the full stay : is all of nothing? thanks Daphné from Belgium
All of the resorts have accessible rooms. When you book, you would tell them you need one. If you book online, this is a selection you can choose. Port Orleans Riverside had great space when we were put into an accessible room one time.

Slight correction. The farthest out you can actually book a resort only reservation is 500 days.
