I was shocked by how many characters you can meet in Epcot (with a much shorter wait than MK). In addition to the ones Molly mentioned, you can meet Snow White in Germany. During the holiday season, you can meet Mickey, Minnie, and/or Goofy in that area between International Gateway and the connecting bridge between France and the UK.
I'm thrilled that they are finally putting some more oomph into Epcot and giving it some well deserved love. It's so often underrated by people because on paper it just reads a little blah. It's going to be the park to be in over the next decade.
I absolutely LOVED, LOVED, LOVED Neil Patrick Harris hosting the Christmas Candlelight. He sang with the choir and really got into it! We also saw Whoopi and the tribute she gave on literacy was spectacular!
Also for kids, stamps in the passports and Perry the Platypus game! My kids loved those.
It's so easy to forget to drink water since you get caught up in the experience.
As a former cast member in the World Showcase, I couldn't agree more with all this! There's so many hidden gems at EPCOT and some strategy to making the most of your day there (and survive it haha)!
Omg, so much freaking walking in EPCOT! Plan your day where you're not walking back and forth and back and forth from Future World to the World Showcase. Totally burnt our family out!

American Adventure is a GREAT place for a little cat nap too, I fall asleep everytime! (And it's not because it's boring, those chairs are just so comfy!)
Love the Captain EO shirt! That's one of my favorite attractions. (Not gonna lie, my Fuzzball and Hooter plushes sleep with me every night.)

Your morning double of Frozen and Les Halles is an absolute staple for my family; one of the things we look forward to the most. Along those lines, I can add one more mistake: Rope dropping Soarin' if someone in your party has an ECV. While the rest of the crowd gets to the queue via escalators inside the pavilion, anyone with an ECV has to use an elevator, which takes a significant enough time to pretty much guarantee you'll be in the back of the queue and waiting for at least 30-60 minutes.
Biggest mistake: Journey Into Imagination. Bring back the OG ride!
Adding an Ellen DeGeneres audio-animatronic to Universe of Energy runs a close second, I think. Gosh, the original ride was jaw-dropping!!

Thanks Molly! When I went to Disney World last year Epcot was my ultimate favorite park. I just loved it the themes and rides so much! I had such a blast and almost cried with happiness when I watched Illuminations because it was just so amazing and breathe taking to me. 🤗 I can’t wait to go back to Epcot again because I didn’t even know there was an aquarium and I love sea life so much! ☺️🐠💛

Awesome as usual Molly. The last time we were there as a family we had a vote on which park to go to our last day and the 4 kids voted for Epcot which was surprising. This was too long ago!!!!! 2006 maybe...yikes! WE have been since then but not all 6 of us at once. Thanks for another great video Molly.

Great job as always, Molly, thanx. One of my fave parts about Epcot is the entertainment (hope all the CM's eventually come back after all this!), and especially the Jamitors - I would go out of my way to see them! Have never been to Festival of Arts, or Holidays (they started both after I stopped going in '12), or F&G, but used to love F&W - one of my fave times to be in WDW, and especially Epcot. That's how I would "eat dinner" a couple of times during a trip! I adore Boyz 2 Men too, good choice!

Can we see an ear collection
My sons were 11 and 8 when they first went to Epcot and they loved it. If the budget allows it, collect the same thing from each country, small things like stickers, pencils. They can learn simple words from CMs from each country like please and thank you. And just discovering the food, clothing and different styles of buildings can be interesting, not to mention the entertainment that Molly mentioned.

Being that I’m there during the holiday season every year, the dynamics are different. Epcot is great for NYE, 2019/2020 was a interim fireworks show different from all the ones I’ve seen from 2011 till then. Obviously the main park (Future World) was covered in walls and in various stages of deconstruction and construction. I would recommend everyone do Soarin and Test Track. Mission Space may be too intense for some abs I highly don’t recommend it for unhealthy people. You can take the green version which doesn’t have any g-forces, but then it’s kinda pointless. Spaceship Earth is a must (whenever they complete the overhaul), Journey into Imagination is cute but forgettable. The worst is Living Seas with Nemo & Friends and especially Turtle Talk “you should definitely skip that ones dudes”.... The three Caballeros boat ride in Mexico is okay for what it is, Frozen Ever After is cool but too short. I think it’s important to enjoy the different nations, sample the food offerings.

I do love the World Showcase entertainers that we have seen! But there is so much else to do in the park and it is so large that it is hard to go out of your way to see them. We usually just see any that happen to be performing at the exact moment we are walking through their pavilion. We do usually go out of our way to catch Voices of Liberty though. Will try to catch more next time.

My daughter was 11 when we went last year and Epcot had some of her favorite experiences the entire trip. Our fave character meal was at Garden Grill. She is super into kawaii culture so the Japan pavilion was everything for her. The only negative was that on the day we did world showcase it was sickeningly hot. Even prepared, it was rough.
Epcot is my three year olds favorite park!!!

I participated in the Disney Candlelight processional for 3 years, and I was NEVER able to have Neil Patrick Harris as my narrator :( My narrators were Jeff Bridges and Helen Hunt though.. that was pretty cool 😍
My kids LOVE Epcot.. they beg me to go as much as they can. They pick it over the MK! They love the culture.. I feel like I am winning as a parent.

Educational well not so much as it used to be before they started to cartoon it up, they should have not brought characters into it in my opinion as that is not what it was intended for.
