I think there will be only one fatality for this character for any fighters from the roster:
Liquid nitrogen leaking from a crashed tanker surrounds the T-1000, causing him to freeze. Then his opponent will hit him so hard or throw him easily down the molten steel or pool of acid.
But whatever that is, because of the randomness I instantly decided to uninstall this game. Just didn't feel like an MK game anymore, though I'm a fan since 1992.
And for those who still playing and love it so much, have fun.
This is what is gonna happen.. 3 MK characters upfront, 3 guest spread out next year for movie promos or TV shows whatever crap, then 3 more MK characters (Jade, Cassie and Kung Jin) kombat pack 3 and then a separate Kameo pack.. So that's more additional revenue for them cuz it's serperate

When this game is fully done and discounted for $20, I will gladly buy it and enjoy my $20 worth of story mode and some single-player content. That said, I do wish MK would return to its roots. I would rather play a remaster of MK Trilogy or something.

Guest characters should always be limited to guests from other fighting games in my opinion

I hate how every franchise and story nowadays is copying MCU and the Infinity war saga like it shows you how creatively bankrupt the whole entertainment industry is now and how they use the tired old multiverse excuse to bring in a lot of mostly unnecessary dumb stuff that makes no sense whatsoever and have a bunch of tokenized swaps. MK1 is done and the whole story is getting worse because it has terrible writers who don't know what they're doing.

The idiots at netherrealm only gave us characters THEY wanted - it’s disgusting they don’t care what the fans actually want - I was reading tweets yesterday and seeing how sad and upset the female mk fan base were - it’s bullshit they got shit on once again - they’ve been asking for jade, sonya. Skarlet and so many other female characters to come back - netherrealm gives them gender swapped cyrax and sektor like what a bunch of douche bags. It’s absolutely insane they don’t care about their fans / customers. Besides noob saibot the rest of the pack is a joke - I grew up watching Conan and terminator 2 - I love those movies but I don’t want them in mortal kombat - I want mk characters. And the fact we still didn’t get any new game modes - the whole netherrealm team need to be fired and replaced with actual mk fans
I agree, I wanted Jade and Cassie back as a main roster and they ruined KP1 with 3 super hero types and now shit on it again with T-1000, Ghostface and Conan. That's 6 slots of movie based characters, which is too much and they don't fit the game imo and is just another WB method of making money of the licences.

Dude This is the multiverse version of Mortal Komat. The fact that you and others on this channel complain about a project that looks very good is so sad, but funny at the same time.
Yeah, I agree. Even from the trailer it feels like story is gonna be trash. Because, firs of all, a lot of people expected to see at the end of MK1 main story some hint to some big boss returning. Mainly the Onaga, and that would be very great. But instead of that they went with Havik, who will be a final boss. Like, the problems with this is that, he is not a boss character because he is playable in the game. Sure, they gonna give him more health, new look and gonna make his AI more aggressive but still, that doesn't count to be the boss of the game. Because the boss character should be none playable character, who acts like a boss and is a real challenge to beat. But looks like NRS went the other way around, maybe because of those snowflakes on the twitter who were complaining that bosses was too hard. Because, how else can you explain what they are doing?
Then they gender swapped two male characters in to female. And I'm talking about Sektor and Cyrax. Like, just why? We have a tons of forgotten female MK characters that are dying to be back, man. Characters like Tasia, Kia, Jataaka, Kira and heck even Delia would do since she just showed up in intro cutscene for MKA. Then there is characters from MK movies that could be returning as playable. For example take Vorpax from MK Conquest TV show. A very cool candidate for a playable female character AND fits in to MK's plot. I could go on and on about, how many female characters NRS could have brought back, man. But instead they decided to gender swap male characters just to show that they added more female characters. This is just stupid, man. And new design of Sektor and Cyrax are looking like they are frigging Bionicles! Does someone still remembers Bionicles? Cause I do! I even had like a action figures of them back in my childhood. And that is exactly how Sektor and Cyrax looks now.
And if that is not enough for a new low, then the fact that they are now humans and not cyborgs destroys this game in my eyes even more. Because, as someone mentioned on X aka Twitter, by making them humans NRS removes all the tragedy behind cyber initiative and of the subtext that it provides of, why it is important to stay a human and never deny your humanity. So what are Sektor and Cyrax now, a female ghay ninjas, in cyber armor who promote their superiority over others or what? This is so stupid, man.
As for the Noob Saibot, he looks.. meh. His design reminds me of those little ninjas from old NES game called ninja-kun only in black colors. So I think that his design can be better. More edgier I would say. And as for the guests, I don't care. Again, simply because NRS ditched many forgotten MK characters in favor of fan service and guests. Like, if they would brought back those forgotten characters and only then were adding guests, then I would not have said a thing, because there would be nothing to complain about. But since it is not the case, NRS can go flip themselves. MK just simply turned in to frigging mugen, man.

As someone who played Kira a lot in the 3D games, I always hoped she would come back. In recent years though I dont want NRS anywhere near her, given what they have done with other characters.

This Trailer is just awfully bad, i whas planning to buy Takeda but after seeing this i'm not Sure if i will ever support this Game, especially now sinds my main Lidia Sobieska has been released for Tekken 8 and Heihachi coming back, and indeed they should have focused on the actual MK Female Characters, bring them back where they belong in the roster, this is just a waste

I do agree with the whole Marvel and Dc characters would sell, but I disagree with you on the gender swap. I think a lot of people think this is a cool idea, and a lot of them understand the direction they are going. Now I think the dlc characters are meh, and could of been better, but the gender swap is great in my opinion.

I don’t think yall should stress the kombat pack. It’s only going to be about 3 months long since we’re only getting 3 characters after the update. Which means in January we’ll be on kombat pack 3 or getting a trailer for it. The only way we should be worried is if they introduce the kameos and do a kameo for one month then a character for the following month. If that’s the case we got 6 months of bs but I’m hoping and I doubt that will happen

There is one thing they could do with Ghostface that would actually be kind of cool, but I highly doubt NRS/WB has the IQ or the skills to pull it off. Imagine how cool it would be if for Ghostface's win animation or even post fatality animation he/she takes the mask off and then it's a random character from the roster. Then it would give the sense of "oh damn, {insert name here} was the killer." And it randomly rotates through the character roster. But like I said, I doubt these clowns could do something like that. After all even just implementing cross play is difficult for NRS/WB, so I highly doubt they have the skills to do something like that.
My favourite part in the trailer is remembering how good the MK X trailer is with Subzero and Scorpion, but who the hell are the cyrax and sektor imposters? Once I'm finished the story I'm done with the game, hope that's not harsh because I'm really disappointed with this, why can't we just get the MK trilogy HD'd up because I'd be quite content with that
Netherealm as much as they want to include "diversity" their doing a real shitty job with their Bipoc fighters In the franchise tekken and street fighters handle their black native or latino characters better than netherealm for example.
1) Kai, he has so much wasted potential whos been absent in the mortal kombat franchise for decades, every time they use mk4 characters and story lines they always leave out kai to be forgotten to the dust bin of history yet theyll bring up jarek and have him cameo in their animated movies and mention him in the movie reboot. He could've been like an homage to martial artist actor jim kelly in enter the dragon black velt jones hot potato black samurai they could've easily set him up to be the series protagonist after liu kang and being a partner to kung lao since kai was liu kangs protege in MK4 and they could've gave liu kang and kitana a happy ending by making liu kang king of new edenia and left earth realms champion protector in Kai & his cousin Kung Lao moving forward in the midway time line yet dropped the ball with his inclusion in the deadly alliance and deception only giving him a new dated look for the early 2000s with cornrows and giving raiden staff back to sujinko and then they leave him out of mk9 who couldve been valuable in helping stop sindel and he could've been in mkx to be the leader of the kombat kids but no they wanted to elevate and talent enhance the white girl offspring of johnny cage and sonya blade as a replacement for liu kang as the series protagonist moving forward and replaced his slot with the hated character of the 3d era master bo rai cho who was retconned to have been liu kang and kung laos teacher to fight outworlders.
2)They flopped Jax briggs whos just a cameo and has no character arch or wins but to be a baby sitter to the kombat kids and sacrifice himself become a traitor and out of left field erase colonialism and having a gender swapped version of himself with a daughter and have a wife that died off screen and made fun of by the villains and johnny cage for not having a relationship with sonya blade since their always saving each other and are close friends in this time line they could've been written in to the story as a couple since they have chemistry together and serve in the military chasing after kano. They misconstrude bionic sleeves origins and have him job and loose his arms to ermac baraka goro and sub zero when in the officially midway time line he never lost his arms and they killed off jax on several occasions making him the typical black friend sidekick rather than a lead character since his flopped special forces game.
3) geras sucks who asked for his return he's a jobber just like kotal khan and is a talen enhancer he begun his life as a slave to kronika why they heck would liu kang bother to bring geras back to life and not give the time role to raidenor relinquish his fire god status back to raiden to shape the time line back to normal making raiden the god of time and lighting and made it so that liu kang and kitana had a happy ending as rulers of edenia geras is but the token black quota of the game where as the other black characters have no character development and left to be cameos with no dialog
4) mortal kombat has a had a Black female fighter & a colorism problem they change tanya and jade from black women to light skin racially ambiguous women and they did this in mortal kombats sequel & rebooted movies making jade an asian woman or making milenna black or white washing asian characters jaqui was lightskinned in mkx but they made her dark skin in mk11 the briggs family really didnt do anything but beat noob saibot and fought cetrion at a stale mate had older jax become a non threatening traitor and takeda and jaqui relationship erased along with their first gay asian fighter kung jin.
5) Art leen darrius Kotal khan art leen the sacrifical negro trope darrius the background character with no dialog which he could've been more interesting if they made him like wesley snipes Simon Phoenix in demolition man but they gave his role to the composite of havik and dairou and erased order realm made him a weak cameo and they protrayed kotal khan as a blue skinned black man with afro hair in the comics and had him become a badass setting up onaga to be a villian in mk11 if they didnt go with the it was kronika all along mcu dc comics multiverse b.s he was only there to have him job the the kombat kids job to jade job to divorah job to sheeva and job to shao khan twice being crippled and decapitated they white washed him in the games.
6) cyrax hasn't gotten any development passed mk4 gold mkdeception mk armegeddon mk9 yet smoke gets the spot light and cyrax stays a cyborg forever and hes their first african character forced to be a voiceless agent of the lin kuei and never redeemed after mk11 heck you cant even play him in mkx or mk11 hes just an mpc
7)nightwolf is their o.p. fighters up there next to liu kang but he stays a stereotype of native american tropes and worships a made up god and he has no real tribe and they flopped the chance for kotal khan to be an enemy of his tribe in ancient times all they do with nightwolf is kill him off as a sacrificial lamb to a sindel shang tsung or kronikas void

For kombat pack 3 we are getting cassie cage and we will be getting the kombat kids kung Jin and jacqui briggs also we will be gettin jade the reason jade isn't out yet is because there giving her the mileena treatment they didn't put mileena in mk11 until people complained and that's what there doing with jade in mk1 I watched a leak video from you tuber peeps that showed kombat pack 3 leaked content

I like the khaos regins trailer. Im excited for ghost face and i didnt really have a problem with the gender swap. Mk1 was definitely in a worst spot and i think this a huge leap in the right direction
